1001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 20, 2022, 11:45:51 PM
Bayern Munich president has stated that they aren't intending to sack Nagelsmann after the recent poor results in the Bundesliga. I also think that it would be very meaningless because the main issue is obviously not his management. The problem is that they don't have a solid striker like Lewandowski anymore. This is the source of their being inadequate in terms of productivity. They can't go on with making their wingers play as forward players. For example Manchester City tried this in the past when they didn't have any striker and it affected their scoring performance quite much.
Like most people, I also think that Kane is the best candidate to be able to fill Lewandowski's place.

Well i don't think that the only reason why Bayern Munich had so many unsuccessful matches in the Bundesliga now is the fact alone that Lewandowski isn't playing for them anymore. I mean if you watched the match of Bayern Munich vs Barca in the Champions Leauge then it is obvious, that Lewandowski also misses big chances to score. This also happened in the seasons when he played for Bayern.
I think a big factor is still that Bayern is just extremely unlucky at the moment. They should never lose a match like the one against Augsburg for example. Even if Bayern was not able to score they should have achieve at least a draw there, but they received a goal that was completely unlucky again. Of course it is also not good that Mane seems to be not in shape at the moment.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all 100x hunters out there on: September 20, 2022, 11:33:00 PM
75% of crypto investors don't understand that projects like Solana, Cardano, Doge, SAND, XRP, Avalanche did a 100x in this recently past bull run and it will never happen again, not even 20x I believe, those who have been in crypto space since 2017 will understand what im talking about, every four years a new adjustment is always made to Top 20 lists on Coinmarketcap, new breeds will take over.
Get rid of the old stuffs and hunt for the next 100x, not a financial advice but DYOR.

I would say the right project to invest in always depends on the goals that you want to achieve. While it is probably true that all those big and established projects that are already in the top 10 in terms of total marketcap will probably not do another x100 from here on at least not in the short and midterm future, this does not mean that they are not suitable to invest into and that they can't give you a good profit.
If you are really looking for x100 moonshots then you need to invest into new projects, but of course you also need to be aware that only like 1 out of 100 new projects will do that x100. So the chances of loosing your complete investment are very high here.
Also i do think that projects like Cosmos for example can still do a x100 from now on. Of course not in the next few weeks, but over the next few years.
1003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 20, 2022, 03:31:10 PM
It was the result of Chelsea's choice of new owner. Actually, I feel unsure of Graham Potter's experience. It was even possible that it was the first game at UCL Potter. Tuchel's dismissal was actually not appropriate. Maybe it's because I was surprised. Why did Chelsea choose a coach worse than they already had before? Tuchel's a good coach, he just hasn't had any luck in a few games. Besides, I also don't understand their transfer policy. even if they didn't prepare well. Or maybe Tuchel wasn't given the funds to buy it. I didn't get the news.

From a pure performance point of view i also think that it was completely inappropriate to fire Thomas Tuchel because even after their pretty bad start into this season FC Chelsea still performed way better than in the time before Tuchel became their coach. We should not forget that Thomas Tuchel came to a FC Chelsea that was in a very bad position both in the Premier League and in the Champions League too, where no one gave them a chance to get very far. Tuchel managed to make every player better and was extremely successful. He managed to finish the premier league on the 4th position and even to win the CL back then, which was incredible. I think Tuchel should have had more credit because of that.
1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins will not survive the bear market? on: September 20, 2022, 03:24:48 PM
Feel free to share your guess, but please back it up.
Does surviving or not depend on the amount of demand?
Or does it depend on the quality of the tech behind the project? Those 2 don't necessarily go hand in hand.
It seems to me that BTC and Ethereum thank their growth prospects to their established names, rather than the tech behind it.

Hmm. I only partly agree with you. Of course it is true that Bitcoin and also Ethereum have the huge advantage that they are just so well known by now. If you talk with people that are not into cryptocurrencies about that topic then for them in most of the cases Bitcoin = crypto and they no no other project of that category. If they know another one, then it is probably Ethereum. So i agree with you here.
I also think though that Ethereum has achieved it's huge market cap because of it's technical abilities and the wide arrange of functionality that it offers. If Ethereum would not be there we probably would still not have the smart contract functionality that enables pretty much every big crypto trend of the last few years. Of course there are other projects now that have the same functionality but they are all copying Ethereum in my opinion.
1005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 19, 2022, 06:01:57 PM
You are right Liverpool needs jude Bellingham than real madrid.  Real Madrid is already balanced and their performance is not poor. Since the season started Liverpool have not made any impression performance,  their quality in football is dieing off. If jude Bellingham should be signing in Liverpool their maybe change.

I don't know, Jude Bellingham is probably one of the best young defensive midfielders in Europe at the moment and Real Madrid have lost Casemiro to Manchester United before the start of this season. Casemiro was a starting player for Real in almost every important game as far as i know, so they definitely have lost quality there. So Bellingham could be a 1 to 1 replacement for him, which would totally make sense in my opinion.
Of course at the moment it looks like that Liverpool is more in need of new players than Real because they had a very weak start into the season for their standards so far, but this can change very quickly.
1006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 18, 2022, 07:44:10 PM
Union Berlin 2-0 Wolfsburg
My prediction was correct. Union Berlin is against Wolfsburg today. Although the first half was a goalless draw, Union Berlin played brilliantly in the second half and managed to score two goals. Union Berlin probably didn't attack much. But their performance was very organized. This is why Wolfsburg was able to score against Union Berlin despite playing a very defensive strategy.

Union Berlin continues to surprise me. I could not watch their match live today but according to the statistics their win was deserved today. Even though most of the stats in this match were pretty even between Union Berlin and Wolfsburg, Berlin clearly had a few very good attempts to score while Wolfsburg did not have a single attempt on goal this match.
I don't believe that Union Berlin will be still in the top 4 of the table at the end of the season but every point that they are getting now gives them more confidence and less pressure, because i think their most important goal is still to stay in the league and with a start like that this is almost certain now again in my opinion.
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) Price Prediction. Will LUNC price hit $0.001 in 2022? on: September 18, 2022, 06:32:47 PM
The Terra open-source blockchain project helps developers create decentralized applications and web3 products that can be used to power the next generation. Founders of Terra are Do Kwon and Daniel Shin.
In the meantime, our long-term LUNC price prediction for 2022 is bullish since it cannot break the current support level anytime soon. We can expect LUNC to reach $0.001 in 2022.

I don't know if this thread is supposed to be a question or just another, badly hidden shill post for your favorite coin or the coin that you are holding a heavy bag and want to get rid off. If it is a question though then i would say that i personally would never invest into LUNC now. This project was hacked and lost massively in value. Since then it had recovered just a little bit and until a few days ago or so it even had the highest trading volume on Kucoin for example.
But that volume came not from investors that are believing into the project, that volume came from people that are constantly flipping coins that are having a high volatility and of course from arbitrage trading bots. The longterm trend for LUNC or me is downwards, it's an abandoned project after all.
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 17, 2022, 10:59:10 PM
I was sure that Bayern would win today, and did not consider them for a bet because the odds were too low. Something inexplicable is happening to Bayern in the Bundesliga, why can't they win so many matches in a row? This despite the fact that they dominated in all matches. It's very strange, but in the Champions League they win their matches.

Indeed the situation with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga is very weird in the last few weeks. They were not playing that badly in my opinion, maybe except last week against Stuttgart where they really did not produce that many chances, but they just were so bad with using their chances that they did not win a single match out of the last 4 games in the Bundesliga. I don't know when the last time was when this has happened to Bayern.
Today was the same again. Bayern had an expected goals value of 3,01 and did not score a single goal, while Augsburg had a value of 1,95 and scored once.
I don't know if we are still talking about bad luck of Bayern though if you are so inefficient in scoring in 4 matches in a row.
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No doubt POS is centralized on: September 17, 2022, 10:53:49 PM
It seems the major concern about Proof of stake that experts here warned about has begin to see the light.
According to cointelegraph, 40% of ethereum nodes are controlled by two addresses which are Lido and Coinbase.

If that is true, than this is definitely a concerning number in terms of centralizsation and of course power within the Ethereum network. That being said, i am also pretty sure that those huge mining farms in china also had a pretty big share of the whole Ethereum mining power under their control. That is also the reason why those big mining companies where tryping to push that ETHPoW fork now, but so far it seems like that will be not really successful.
In my opinion the switch from PoW to PoS had to happen because otherwise big companies or institutions would be reluctant to use Ethereum as their network for blockchain applications. In the word of today it is a huge bonus if you are a climate friendly project.
1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 17, 2022, 07:10:39 PM
Ronaldo's market value has decreased by 10 million to become 20 million euros in three months.

As others have already said in this thread, the market value that transfermarket is defining is not really a hard number that is valid for everyone that is involved in football. It is just a value that this site is setting following their own rules and parameters. Other sites are doing the same and may have different values for each player.
That being said, it is pretty obvious that the market value of Cristiano Ronaldo will slowly but surely become lower and lower because he is already 37 years old. I would say 20 M€ for a player of his age is still an excellent value. Many good players never had such a high value even in their prime.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you buy a token if its price never went up and you could never sell it? on: September 17, 2022, 07:04:19 PM
Let's assume that I create a new token and this token has two main characteristics:
1. The purchase price is always fixed
2. You can never sell it to anyone else after you bought that token (so it can't act as a stablecoin)
Will you buy this token?

Well i also voted with "no" because i don't see any useful function in that token if the price won't fluctuate. If i can never sell that token why would i buy it in the first place. Crypto coins and tokens are mainly bought by investors because they obviously are hoping that those assets will increase in price after they have bought them. So if that possibility is not there for your token there won't be anyone that buys that token.

Or are you planning some functions for your token? Like, you get a certain share of the earnings of your project depending on how many tokens you own or something like that? Even if that would be the case though, why would you make that token unable to change it's price and sellable then?
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 16, 2022, 11:42:21 PM
I still do think Team Secret will make it to TI this year and another step for them is to take revenge against ITB in 10 minutes from now. Also , sad for NIgma fans today but to be honest , Sumail did anything he could in order to save that game but Pango from Nisha in game 3 had no counter and then , if that wasn't enough , Liquid lost 2-0 against Entity but StormStormer is one of the best midlane right now in Dota 2 and he proved it again today.

Yeah i am also quite sad that Nigma now has no chance anymore to be part of the International. For me it's just a shame that we will not see players like Kuroky, Sumail and Miracle at the biggest tournament, but they just did not manage to play well enough to qualify so in the end it's their own fault. It will be interesting to see what happens to Nigma now. I doubt that they will keep the exact same roster for the next season as i can imagine that Sumail or Miracle will look for other teams now that have better chances to win big titles.
Team Secret vs. Into the Breach is 1-1 now and the last match will happen tomorrow because of technical issues. Secret is still the favorite here for me.
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else feeling let down by crypto Play to Earn gaming sector ? on: September 16, 2022, 11:37:07 PM
With DeFi projects struggling to regain trust since LUNA's collapse, and the current bear market I think this was the perfect time for the play to earn gaming sector to explode, or at least to gain traction in the way Axie Infinity did in early 2021. Sadly just there aren't any exciting offerings right now that I can see... Illuvium and Star Atlas, two of the first "AAA" games in the space are still in development, and may be for another year or so.

Well if you believe that those games will be big hits and played by a lot of players once they are finished then maybe it is a great time now to buy some of their tokens. The star atlas governance token is very low at the moment for example. I am also thinking about buying a few of those but i am not sure yet because looking at the chart it goes constantly down for months now, so i don't know where the bottom is.
That being said, it is true that the play-2-earn sector is also pretty dead at the moment. The prices just keep on going down just like the rest of all crypto projects. Sadly this also means that it is not profitable to play those games at the moment.
1014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 16, 2022, 03:07:15 PM
BREAKING: ROGER FEDERER TO RETIRE AT LAVER CUP

Well i guess it was getting more and more likely that this will happen in the last few months as it seemed that Roger Federer just could not seem to get fit and healthy anymore in the last year or so and there were always new issues coming up. The last news i heard from a few weeks ago was that they have found water in his knee. This could have been the last straw that made him announce his retirement.
That is very sad news for the whole world of tennis as he was the best of all time for many fans and experts, even though Nadal has better stats than him. I also prefer Federer over Nadal because Roger just was so elegant on the court with his one handed backhand and his amazing touch.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin becomes second largest PoW cryptocurrency on: September 16, 2022, 03:00:11 PM
Meme-inspired cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE) is now officially the second largest proof-of-work (PoW) crypto in terms of market cap, following the Ethereum network's proof-of-stake upgrade on Sept. 15.

In general i think that the time of Proof-of-Work coin is coming to an end slowly but surely. Bitcoin will of course be an exception from that because i highly doubt, that they will also move to proof of stake in the future because bitcoin mining is just way to big of a business i think with mining farms in China having invested millions and millions of dollars into mining gear.
New projects though will probably not choose proof of work anymore as their consensus mechanism as it is just not fitting in todays mentality where the protection of the environment and the climate change are such big topics in the media.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: September 16, 2022, 12:30:33 AM
Sad to read and see that only one of the 2 German teams has won today , looks like Freiburg cant get enough of winning games .
Dont know how Union Berlin has played as i havnt seen the game or any preview of it but it looks like they was unlucky.

I am also pretty happy that Freiburg won again today and i really think they deserve that. They are a very likeable club in my opinion with very healthy financials and i always enjoy when such clubs are also having success even without being in debt. We will see how long Freiburg can keep up with this many games because that is pretty unusual for them.
Union Berlin disappointed again in the Europa League today. They are showing such strong performances in the Bundesliga and are even leading the table there but in the European competition they are not able to win a match or at least achieve a draw. Pretty sad.
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So the ETH merge has finally happened on: September 16, 2022, 12:24:24 AM
The long awaited ETH merge has finally happened today and thing went smooth as for the merge from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake.
I personally thought that ETH would dump as soon as the merge would happen and I can see that it is dumping in price but slowly.

Yeah it really seems like that whole merge was working as intended and no major hickups have happened. Therefore i am pretty surprised that the price of ETH went down more than 100$ today. The old saying buy the rumor sell the news is also not correct here because the news that the merge would happen this september already made the price pump to almost 2000$ per ETH. a few weeks back. So i don't really understand why ETH is dumping now, when everything worked so smoothly. I think we should not underestimate the number of unhappy miners that may be selling off their ETH now after the merge. Who knows.
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 15, 2022, 02:10:26 PM
I am not sure why Madrid odds was quite high compare to other teams odds such as Manchester City or PSG which is usually very low but my thoughts is because this season Madrid is not the first favourite to win champion league so that's why they have high odds for each matches but i think this is good opportunity to bets for them because they can wins for almost every matches and last week too while against Celtic bookmakers provide high odds for them approximately @1.73 next match against Shakhtar probably the odds will not so different

Well the bookmakers are setting their odds based on hard facts and statistics and not based on successes of the past. It is definitely true that 1.65 seems like a very high odd for a win of the current Champions League champions against a club like RB Leipzig that is not even in shape at the moment, but that is only true at the first sight. In reality Real Madrid was extremely lucky to win the Champions League last year. I mean we have to applaud them for their mentality to always come back but in the end they were just lucky that clubs like ManCity or Chelsea did not score more goals out of the many big chances that they had.
Therefore Real is also not one of the big favorites in this tournament.
1019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 15, 2022, 12:27:10 AM
Today Champions League Results:
Manchester City 2 vs 1 Dortmund
Dortmund Has been destroy by the sharpness of its former player.

I was pretty surprised that Borussia Dortmund could keep up so well with Manchester City today because for me ManCity is one of the biggest favorites to win the Champions League title this year again. Dortmund on the other hand is not a Tier 1 european football club for me and there performances in the Bundesliga season so far have also been pretty weak and they were pretty lucky to have that money points already in the Bundesliga.
Still Dortmund managed to show a great performance today and was totally on the same level as Manchester City. Dortmund had a few good potential chances to create a huge chance but the last pass was always not precise enough. Still they were ahead until the 80th minute of the game. Good effort by Dortmund and a lucky win for ManCity.
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rug pull scams on: September 15, 2022, 12:23:03 AM
Rug pull scams "pumping up" a new project, nonfungible token (NFT) or coin to get funding. After the scammers get the money, they disappear with it. The coding for these investments prevents people from selling the bitcoin after purchase, so investors are left with a valueless investment.

As far as i know a rugpull is something different that the kind of scam that you are describing OP or i am just reading your message wrong. I don't know. What you describing is a traditional scam that happens not only in crypto but everywhere. People are collecting money from investors and make huge promises in order to get that money but then when they have it they are disappearing and take the money with them. This kind of stuff happens since centuries.
A rug pull is when a new project is launched on a DEX and then, after the trading has started and the token has pumped, the team removes the liquidity from the DEX so it can not be traded anymore, which means the scammers now have more ETH or stablecoin or whatever than before the rugpull.
