Fortune Jack pays 0.02/week instead of 0.025 here! (For less posts)

Am staying with PDi, received my third automatic payment, thank you very much Wink

Actually, they are paying 0.03 btc per week (0.12 btc per month), as of the launch of their new campaign - they do require more posts though (30 per week).
2122  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: October 15, 2014, 04:16:19 PM
FortuneJack is starting new campaign, with better payouts:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=824576.msg9211445#msg9211445

Better payout than rivals but worried when seeing the below.
IMPORTANT: 10 Posts out of 30 MUST BE MADE IN GAMBLING thread, otherwise payments will not be made.

Well, even the "better payouts" is relative: it's 0.12 btc for 120 posts a month, so 0.001 btc a post; others pay 0.1 btc for 50 posts for example, which comes to 0.002 btc per post. Tongue
2123  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling Bitcointalk Account. on: October 15, 2014, 03:48:11 PM
Because if it doesn't take place here in the open, it will take place somewhere else without most users being aware of it - so in short, it's allowed because there is no effective way of stopping it. But users engaged in these activities will still often get negative trust (as, in my opinion, they should).
admins can simply perhaps check on the ips used to log in to accs and know if they were changed?

I don't think that would work - people with dynamic IP, using Tor, vpn, and so on, could get in trouble for no reason if that was the only criteria.
2124  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling Bitcointalk Account. on: October 15, 2014, 11:07:37 AM
I wonder why is this even allowed here!

I had a weird idea: the artist could play with the lighting so that interesting shadows would form when the viewer stands in front of the wall.

Not exactly what you thought of, but there is always Shadow Art (http://graphics.stanford.edu/~niloy/research/shadowArt/shadowArt_sigA_09.html).

2126  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you had a time machine... on: October 14, 2014, 09:34:01 AM
Problem with a time machine that you can only use once is, it will dump you into empty space. Either the earth has gone past the spot, or the earth hasn't reached the spot yet.

If you do it, your best bet is to go into the future. Do it inside a glider that can enter the atmosphere and glide to the earth safely. That way, if the earth ever catches up to the position you are at, you will be ready to glide back.

Odds are, however, that you will be taking your planetary motion with you, along with your time movement. This means that you will be completely lost in space once you get there, always a little ahead of the earth, or - if you go past - a little behind it.

Be careful about jumping only a split second. You just might wind up inside the earth. Don't know what would happen with your material trying to occupy the same position that some other material is occupying. But it might cause such a nuclear explosion that it would knock the whole earth over into the next solar system, or something.

Smiley

Actually, I think it might be even worse than that: in your scenario, you seem to be assuming the jump will at least leave you somewhere in the Solar System, so you could try to time your jump to coincide with a suitable location - but in reality, not only does the Earth move around the Sun, but the Sun moves around the Milky Way in a ~250 million year cycle, and the Milky Way also moves in relation to cosmological frames of reference.

So, anyone carelessly using a time machine will likely end up in empty space, and very, very far from where they intended to be.

Is there some rpg related game where is used BTC or any other kind involved ?

Dragon's Tale. http://www.dragons.tl/
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1392.0

I haven't ever played Dragon's Tale but, to be honest, the idea I get from the game is that it is little more than an elaborate casino - not really much of a role playing game, as far as I can tell.

Where is a list of top escrows?

I know of two top escrow lists; but they don't seem to be updated very frequently:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=276897.0 (last updated August, this year)

You might want to put some middle ground in there, at the moment you could interperate it as;-

Who do you prefer;-

A. Joseph Stalin

B. Adolf Hitler

Tongue

You're right, the poll is lacking some middle ground there - but I wouldn't really go as far as equating Soviet Russia to socialism, despite all the propaganda to that effect. The basic idea behind socialism, as far as I know, is worker control of the means of production; something they had none of, in Russia at that time. I suppose you could have called it a form of state socialism instead, or something, but it seems to me to have been just another excuse for a totalitarian state, and not much of a representation of socialism.

people are getting $100 for the posters and asking as much as $100 for the DVD. I figured this price is fair. considering i cant find another copy for sale anywhere.

$100 for this? Really? What am I missing here? Cheesy

Wouldn't it be easier to just go over to Vimeo (http://vimeo.com/103986528) for example, if you really want to take a look at 1976's idea of pr0n? Tongue

There are no open spots at the moment, and you should probably reread the OP - enrollment requirements have changed.

I guess the other scam from the some people from cyptcominer?

Anyway seems like they already ran away

You mean, the guys from the Tradefocus campaign? If they are indeed the same people that were behind Cryptcominer (which seems likely), they will probably be back on Monday - I think they said at some point they didn't work weekends. Smiley

meanwhile who i'm waiting for clarify the question above, i go for a second question:
i registered on https://pocketdice.io/#/sigCampaign
but under "Status" i'm reading "Pending" from one day.
is this normal?
how many time to become registered?
when the posts start to count?

thanks!

Theoretically, it should mean that they will be looking at your account and decide whether or not to accept you - you can see that in the OP. But more to the point, isn't this campaign already full? The maximum number of members is now 50.

[...]

Is it really necessary to register on the website?
Also is there room for a Hero Member?  Smiley
Sadly, but no, we're full at the moment. You can join our referral program though.
2140  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Ganhe Bitcoins enquanto joga on: October 04, 2014, 09:38:42 PM
