They go into your coinbase wallet. Taking the bitcoin off coinbase won't give you the BTG, you will need the private key for that, and i don't think you have the one for your coinbase wallet. If you sent your transaction from an account that you have with a service, then you will need to contact the service provider and inform them that their service is broken. You will then need to wait for the service to fix their problem so they can create valid transactions.

You can't as far as i know. There is no ""Direct"" correlation between the wallet identifier and the private key, at least not in the way that it is reversible. Adresses are derived from the public key, and the public key is derived from the private key. You can go from Private Key -> Wallet adress, but not the other way around. >1 in adress is from 1= private key Also a wallet adress is something different then a wallet identifier, so i'm not sure if you meant to refer to wallet ID instead of adress ID. A wallet ID is something like this, https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/0004e0d47a2c36bdSo, correct me if i'm wrong, if you'd want to know the wallet ID(s) of a certain set of adresses, without importing the private key, ( essentially loading / scanning the private key), shouldn't be possible. I warned a member whose post included insult and defamation about a person. Additionally I reported it to moderator but the moderator deleted my message because of excuse float. And then I send a message to moderator "why" my post is deleted. He said that your post is irrelevant. I think that this is realy joke!!! And then I wrote again him and I said "insult and defamation" is relevant but the warning is irrelevant. So how I complain about the moderator? Or whom?
You want to complain about the moderator so that he would get removed from his positions, is what i'm understanding from you -- right ? He is probably refering to / as something he "shares" with use, aka a post of him, the answer on that is, YES. you can get banned for posting gore content i believe, but also for copy pasting, posting ref links etcetera. Yes. You should be able to import the private keys of block.io into electrum, and it should work just fine.
Ok, I will try to do that. But I prefer to get clear instructions if possible. I think that's easier to ask around to get your transaction accelerated. Just do a bit of search on this forum, some people do this, some even for free / tip. Or you can try yourself with ViaBTC https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ but you have to be in the first seconds after hour, else you won't get in. There are (too) many trying this every hour. Impossible. It will give an error that the transaction doesn't exist. It is possible to see it only in chain.so. Not sure how it works with block.io, but you already mentioned you could export your private keys, well, do that. So now I will have to wait another 3 days for it to drop again and I will have to be fast enough to send it again with high priority before it gets rebroadcasted again?

Well, you should ask the guy who sent you the bitcoin from that adress where he sent them from. Which exchange / wallet. The only possible exchange i currently see where something like this could happen is coinbase, as that is one of the only wallets not listed on https://www.walletexplorer.com/It could be that the guy is trying to scam you, and that he has already received the money. There's no way to turn back the transaction, the money is already gone. You might be able to get it back from the exchange/ wallet support, but chances are slim. |

If he didn't use a hardware wallet such as electrum, where he had control over all his private keys, but instead used an exchange to make the transaction, such as coinbase, poloniex, or bittrex, then yes. He probably has no access to the adress he sent the bitcoin from as the exchange does that, he only has one receiving adress. But, when i trace the adress, https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/b257888856706ef8?from_address=149Vu5bbQKgxs4C6xRXiZaJMSVmabQ2pveIt is part of a wallet with only 1 adress, which is 149Vu5bbQKgxs4C6xRXiZaJMSVmabQ2pve, and it is not part from any big exchange, except coinbase? Ask him from which wallet / exchange he sent it from. |

I was wondering what some key features are that you guys are missing ( if all ) on this forum.
Think about things such as liking, tagging, embedding, stuff like that.
-Notifications when people quote you. -Notifications when people tag you. This is all I can think of at the moment. I like BitcoinTalk for the rest :-) Regards, Trump The one I miss the most is the lack of notifications. You can never know if someone quoted you or replied to your thread, which results in a lot of unanswered questions - like newbies who haven't understood what you explained to them. That's why I tend to check my last few posts after some days to see if there is anybody trying to talk with me.
I'm personally missing this myself aswell. I really think that the emailing system really doesn't fullfill my needs. I'd love to know when someone quoted one of my posts / tagged me. If there's enough demand for it, i might look into something like a firefox / google chrome extensions that does exactly this. Not sure if it would even be possible, but since i have no clue when then new forum is going to be released, i guess this would be a good temporary solution. |
