1)  ♣ ♣ ♣ Saturday 10k guar 6pm ET ♣ ♣ ♣ only 95+5 buy in ♣ ♣ ♣  #OverlayAlert #NoLateReg

2)  if anyone suspects botting or colluding, please immediately list usernames and email admin.  I take a realistic viewpoint to online poker and understand that our long term, honest players are very frequently the first line of defense vs. colluders.   IMO the site is most effective at policing the games with the help of players - please post anything you feel the community should know about as soon as you see it.

Teppy I love you very much even though to my knowledge we have never met IRL

the Dragon's Tale world continues to be molded in your image, as if you are some sort of crypto-deity.

I haven't popped in to DT in a while (9.5 month old daughter) but I know when I drop in the next time I will be warmly greeted by the players like I always have and there will be something new for me to gamble some bitcoin on.
763  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: October 10, 2013, 06:46:54 PM
I have tried SwC and it worked pretty well.  The game software works fine but it's not a polished product.  The major problem with SwC is there are not enough players online with the site struggling to fill 2 Hold'em tables most of the time.  If you find a table where players are abusing each other (not uncommon) it's impossible to move as all the other tables are empty.  Player quality is about average for online poker, with most playing extremely tight.

Many think the real players are getting sucked dry from in house player accounts hence the reason people not coming back and bleeding out slowly. Of course we cannot prove such allegations but many similar stories coming forward after speaking with seasoned poker pros. Hard to tell especially if one don't spend the time to see what they was dealt by the chain and even then how do you differentiate a honest bluff with a "I know I got you beat with higher 6 kicker etc." I have to agree not looking good but another poker site is getting ready to make a huge splash soon enough which should at least make the field competitive which is clearly good for real bitcoin players.

Sometimes I see misinformation about SwC as posted above.  IMO it's always best to relate SwC issues with relevant facts, links, and screenshots.

First off Cluster2k you are completely correct that our software works fine but is not a polished product.  That is something our team is working extremely hard on as we speak - to polish our clients and improve our server-side software.  Criticism well accepted on your first point.

your second point of "strugling to fill 2 hold'em tables" is not founded on facts.  here is the current screenshot of games from 10/10/2013 at 11:30am Las Vegas time:

18 cash games running, 9 Hold'em tables running with 5+ players.  Cluster2k - it is possible you checked in the middle of the night USA time, as ~4am-9am Vegas time has traditionally been our slowest times, but even then there are usuall 6 tables running.  Pokerscout is a very easy measure of how many players to expect at what times:  http://www.pokerscout.com/SiteDetail.aspx?site=SealswithClubs&ab=2125562

Many think the real players are getting sucked dry from in house player accounts hence the reason people not coming back and bleeding out slowly. Of course we cannot prove such allegations but many similar stories coming forward after speaking with seasoned poker pros.

aksplace,  these comments seem to lack any backing whatsoever.  I assume you have identified "house player accounts" to make such a statement, so I would encourage you to list them.  If such egregious cheating were taking place on SwC I feel all players should know about the usernames as early as possible.  Further more, you say you have spoke to "seasoned poker pros" and have "many similar stories coming forward"  please show me any links to this information.

As always, anyone can contact me for any reason ---> micon@sealswithclubs.eu

I work hard with our team to ensure the safety and security of our site.  Unfounded rumors can spread, so I feel it's important to shut them down immediately.  Real threats to site security are top priority.
764  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinSports.com - Sportsbook/Casino - 0.1 BTC For 10 Constructive Respones on: October 09, 2013, 08:19:26 PM
I've been betting lots of NFL props this year and will likely check this site out this weekend / see if there is anything I like and if I fire I'll report back my thoughts.

IMO lots of room in the btc sportsbook space if done correctly.  I just signed up an account and am awaiting the approval to actually get into the sports lines, which is a bit annoying I'll say just for the sake of letting the operator know my initial feelings.  Of course I would want to see a bet I like before depositing...

1)  It's great to see SwC growing
2)  the MTT schedule is always being improved and will scale as we grow
3)  the "BIG BTC" on Sunday, the 1 btc buy in 40 btc guaranteed is our flagship tourney.  Our biggest nightly is the "Deep3k" which is 200 buy-in (.2 btc) and gets 30+ runners.  There are countless overlays and the competition, from a player perspective, isn't all that tough right now.  Factor in the much lower rake and this becomes a +EV grind, maybe not huge monies yet but certainly +EV and IMO SwC will be growing huge in 2013.  Might as well build a roll now!

I think there are many people who can acknowledge that I have gone an extra mile in remaining vendor-neutral.

I firmly believe the above statement is completely false.

Most of the fiasco is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=165500.0

Luke-Jr was pressured by BFL to make statements to affect the outcome of a BFL-facing bet based on prototype hardware he was given presumably to integrate into BFGminer.  As a decade-long professional gambler, I consider his actions very dishonest.

Also note I think Luke-Jr has done way more good than bad for this community.
IMO his software is worth at least a dozen ~200 btc mistakes before [sum LukeJr (good done) - (evil done)] becomes negative

Sure hope he is not accepted to the Bitcoin Foundation.

Yes. I'm trying to ask directly, and also seek permission for this kind of thing. It's much better if it's site supported rather than trying to scrape the data from the screen (it can be done) or packet sniffing.

If x supplies the network data, that would be better. While I haven't looked at it, this kind of data should somehow be encrypted, if it isn't already.

I'm counting on Seals not being like Stars and being "friendlier" with their poker players. It's not like I can see what the other players are holding.

Dabs hit me up micon@sealswithclubs.eu / let me forward you to some boys that may be able to help.
I don't think anybody should be aloud analyse his hand before the hand end.Any reason why you want to help him Mikon?I don't consider this "friendlier"to me.

he is simply looking for his personal hole card info, i.e. an easy way to read his hand into some program he will build - just his 2 hole cards that he can see on his screen - i.e. instead of typing them into his program each time.  I don't find anything wrong with this morally, but it looks like it's tough to do / we can't help him do it anyway.   Like Freemo said up there the info is out there, you have access to it, it will up to a coder if they want to do anything with it, as we don't have any user-api or something.  Although that would be cool.

Why would you want to borrow money at such an outrageously high interest rate? Bluntly, that's the kind of interest rate only an idiot would pay.

I love you JoelKatz.

You are a fantastic human.

ty for being around.

I wish swc could take an active role in some of these cases. Wouldn't be too hard to see were chips were transferred to and give them back to jenger. I realize site doesn't want to do this but mitigating circumstances warrant mitigating interference. Not trying to cause headaches for the site but would be great if would get involved maybe put it to a vote and see what other players have to say. Just really brutal to battle and win big btc and have funds stolen. I don't believe that servers were compromised either just an unfortunate situation.

Jenger's unfortunate story is about waking up to an email stating his blockchain.info wallet pass was changed, not SwC chips transfered.

furthermore I keep my personal digital door open for additional info as some of you know I'm extremely anti-scammer.  micon@[replacewithourdomainforbitcoinpoker].eu

also I have recently rejuvenated the DonkDown forums if for nothing more than for you to leave me cases to investigate on SwC:

http://www.donkdown.com/forum/sealswithclubs-bitcoin-poker-room-f72.html

the thread "things for Micon to investigate" I have subscribed and drop-ships me an email when someone posts there.
777  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: September 16, 2013, 06:25:46 PM

Servers are in no way compromised.  Jenger's story is quite sad, but it's also quite clear that it's a case of poor personal computer security and bad password practices.

Please champbronc2 -  this type of mis-info is quite damaging to us at this young stage of our project.

Hacked! 10 BTC stolen from big btc win last night  Shocked Cry

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=295308.msg3166583#msg3166583

This totally sucks.  I watched you dominate the FT and posted your name in 50pt purple letters in the BIG BTC weekly winner thread.  I feel terrible that the coins stolen originated from an SwC win, but it is pretty clear to me that someone accessed your email, changed your blockchain pass, and emptied that wallet.  Obviously not SwC's fault, as our servers were never compromised.

looking back, I learned a quite inexpensive lesson getting scammed for $8k when I was 26 yrs old in 2007ish.  The guy is in FBI custody now: http://www.donkdown.com/justin-wade-smith-goes-down-hard/

Jenger - that really does suck Sad

I watched most of that FT you dominated.

I believe it's quite clear Seals had nothing to do with this and it was a case of poor personal computer security.

Jenger if you'd like to msg me personally at micon@sealswithclubs.eu I can help you lock your shit down in the best way I know how, and refer you to others that know much better that I learn from.
