821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC anonymously on: December 11, 2021, 07:30:35 PM
Why not buy Bitcoin directly to any KYC exchange and use a mixer instead?

Alternatively, buy XMR (on an exchange with or without KYC) and use Atomic Swaps to exchange/swap XMR for Bitcoin. By doing this at least two times you can also disguise the origin of your Bitcoins very well. However, you should use decentralized exchanges with atomic swap, which have favorable transaction fees.
822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 11, 2021, 07:01:06 PM
All the top teams are struggling this matchday. ManCity, Liverpool and Chelsea all won their games only by narrow margins and in some cases by luck. Man United is also having problems in its game against Norwich and should already be behind in terms of chances. The current draw is lucky. Actually, only Arsenal has been convincing me this matchday.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: December 11, 2021, 02:58:22 PM
I in surprised that it is not yet discussed here. According to several media reports, the cancelled match between Tottenham and Stade Rennes will not be repeated. The match was originally postponed due to several Tottenham players falling ill with Corona. And now the two clubs can not agree on a new date for the match. This would have eliminated Tottenham from the Euro Conference League. I find a fierce decision!
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: December 09, 2021, 12:05:43 PM
Chelsea will have a much more difficult opponent due to the goal conceded in the 94th minute, they did rotate heavily for this game but still - conceding 3 goals against Zenit isn't something they should have allowed. They might regret it really soon.

Well, but by finishing first or second you can basically just avoid difficult opponents in the round of 16. From the quarterfinals onwards, everything is reshuffled again anyway. That's why I don't quite understand the discussion about the group placings. Especially not for top teams like Chelsea. With less good teams it is still understandable, but Chelsea has the claim to win the CL again and then they have to pass against all teams sooner or later.

I have a few capital and I will like to know the proper token to venture in. Am unused to NFTs and will cherish to induce your supposition on which NFT to purchase for a brief term bas

My honest opinion from 10 years of crypto experience? Stay away from NFTs. The hype is in full swing or has perhaps already reached its peak. Every hype has ended sooner or later in the crypto sector and has always hit those who have held on too long or invested too late. NFT has its justification, without question, but the current prices are beyond good and evil. For long-term investments, I would rather rely on established coins and platforms.
826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: December 09, 2021, 11:40:03 AM
My own prediction for today's Europa league games.
Napoli Versus Leicester City- btts
Celtic versus Real Betis- btts
Genk versus Rapid Vienna- btts
Ferencvarosi versus Bayern Leverkusen- btts
Sparta Prague versus Broendby- btts
Royal Antwerp versus Olympiacos- btts.
 Have a nice day.

Out of interest, what does "btts" mean?

The match between Lazio and Galatasaray could be competitive. Galatasaray are top of the table with 11 points from 5 matches. And Lazio is 3 points behind them. Galatasaray have won two of their last four matches. Lazio won a match. Today's match is Lazio's home match. It looks like Lazio will win 1-0, otherwise there is a possibility of a draw.

I also see Galatasaray as the favorite in the match. From the squad Lazio should be the better team, but the past games nationally and internationally have shown that Galatasaray has the better run. And the odds for a win by Gala are 5.7. Either bet directly on a win or make Double Chance for 2.6. Both very good odds.

If you have studied the past of NEM, you will have noticed that many mistakes are repeated. Even now.
You will see the same evidence of problems that existed many years ago.

thx

I can only agree with you on that. Unfortunately, NEM somehow missed the chance to create a real new beginning after the introduction of Symbol.
Fortunately, I sold all my NEM shortly after the snapshot. I still hold some XYM, but if things keep going the way they are, I'll be dumping those soon as well. It's a great pity, NEM/Symbol always had a very good product technologically.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn’t KYC anti-ethical to Bitcoin? on: December 09, 2021, 11:29:35 AM
When i first heard about bitcoin, one of the selling points then was the pseudo anonymity. But as of recently, it is hard to purchase any crypto without encountering a form of KYC.

I’m just curious of everyone’s thought on this.

Yes, it is!
But the Bitcoin community is not a homogeneous group. There are those who use Bitcoin out of idealism and those will certainly not do KYC's. There are alternative platforms where you don't need a KYC, but they are usually technically more complex to use.
On the other hand, there are the opportunists. Those who want to make quick as money with Bitcoin. For them the original idea of Bitcoin is of little or no importance. They have no problem to make a KYC everywhere where a little profit can be made.

830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whale bought $150 worth of Bitcoins during the dip. on: December 09, 2021, 10:11:09 AM
Dont belive anything whales now selling not buying.

Do you have any proof?
If many whales were to sell, then the bitcoin price would be much lower than it currently is. Rather, the dump is due to investors who speculated with too much leverage and small investors who bought at 60k+ and now got shot. This is a self-reinforcing process until a threshold is reached where more buy than sell again, and the buyers are mostly whales or large investors. And that threshold seemed to have been around 45-46k.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: December 09, 2021, 10:06:37 AM
It was already obvious before the match that Barcelona would lose it. And they did by a big score like 3-0. Barcelona's current condition is not good enough to beat teams like Bayern Munich in home or away matches for now. They must improve their game a lot to talk about that probability. They don't belong to the Champions League for now and they are already eliminated from it too.

It's really frightening what Barca has become. The change of coach has not brought the hoped-for turnaround. For Barca it was all about yesterday and they played against an opponent who was already qualified. And then to play so badly, that is very sad to see although I am not a fan of Barca at all. Barca will not get far in the Euro League with such an attitude and such a performance.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best decentralized stablecoin? on: December 07, 2021, 06:18:40 PM
Almost the same, I also use BUSD and USDT very often now and never think about the FUD made by many people for USDT because as long as I am still very safe to use it, then I will never care about any FUD especially if the effect is very small.

He is asking for decentralized stable coins. USDT is not decentralized by definition. Tether directly issues new USDT coins against USD, which pure decentralized coins do not do. Decentralized stable coins are usually crypto-collateralized what means they are baked by other crypto and particular algorithms try to keep the price stable in all market phases.
833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No..Craig Wright Was NOT Named Bitcoin's Creator on: December 07, 2021, 05:52:12 PM
I really wonder why anyone gives this man any attention at all. It should be known that he is definitely not Satoshi.
The proof would be easy to make, but he can't. So he isn't. This smear theater he's putting on doesn't do justice to the real Satoshi.
834  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we in a bear trap? on: December 07, 2021, 05:40:51 PM
I think it was a bear trap. Several factors speak for this.
First of all, the Fear and Greed Index is slowly rising again. Fear is giving way and greed is slowly coming back. In addition, potential interest rate hikes by the central banks are now priced in, both in the crypto space and in the equity space. Even if many do not want to admit it, but the Bitcoin price or crypto prices also depends very much on the stock market and the policy of central banks.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: December 07, 2021, 05:32:01 PM
A lot of groups are already decided at least if it comes to which teams are advancing into the group stage of the Champions League. In Group A we still have a battle for the 3rd position of the table between RB Leipzig and Brügge.

That is still the only exciting question in this group. ManCity is surely already first, PSG is surely already second and it's only about third place and the decision who stays in the Euro League. Whereby, actually, this question is already pretty much settled: Leipzig. I think that both ManCity and PSG will win and that Leipzig will remain third. I can't imagine that Brugge can get a point against PSG.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it is safe to buy coins that are only listed on one small exchange? on: December 06, 2021, 04:44:38 PM
The risk is very high if you trade on a small exchange it is very easy to hack because the security is very low, I say you should buy coins that are listed on a large exchange which is guaranteed to be safe from hacker attacks.

Security issues are not really an important issue for exchanges, in my opinion the biggest problem is the opportunity to be a scam, too often we hear cases that exchanges are scams, or for no rational reason they close their business and don't provide an opportunity to withdraw because they get big profits from members who deposits.

I don't quite agree with you there. Correctly, there are of course also more scams on smaller exchanges, because the listing checks are not quite as intensive as on the large exchanges. In addition, it is easier to buy the listing on smaller exchanges and place a possible scam project accordingly.
But even more important is that smaller Exchanges generally do not have such high technical security measures, because they also do not have the resources for it. Over the last few years I have seen so many smaller exchanges go out of business because they have been hacked. That is the biggest risk for me, more than scams.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: December 06, 2021, 03:52:54 PM
The teams' odds are quite eloquent:
Bayern Munich FC Barcelona
1.66 - 4.70 - 4.20

SL Benfica FC Dynamo Kiev
1.32 - 5.00 - 11.00

But in fact, I would change the odds for these two pairs - I am more confident in the victory of Bavaria than in the victory of Benfica. I think that the multi-bet on favorites here looks profitable, the odds are very attractive: 2.19 If you add additional outcomes, for example, total goals, then you can achieve an even higher coefficient.

I don't see the games as clearly as the odds suggest. Bayern is not quite as strong as it was at the beginning of the season. Although Barca lost to Betis in the league, I think there can be a surprise if Xavi's work starts to bear fruit. Therefore, I would rather go for double chance Barca.
Similarly with Benfica against Kiev. Kiev has not played badly and if you would take a little risk, then I would also go on double chance Kiev.

Nein, ich werde mir was anderes suchen....

839  Economy / Economics / Re: US could run out of cash as soon as Dec. 15, Janet Yellen warns on: December 05, 2021, 02:48:47 PM
The US can't practically run out of cash as long as the world reserve currency is the USD. They can print money to pay their debts even to foreign countries. Of course that's a single use get-out-of-jail card. Because once they do that, the USD will cease to be the reserve currency.

Possibly at that point some "other" currency that is not controlled by any single government... perhaps something decentralized.

The question is what would be the alternative to the reserve currency US dollar for export-strong countries?

There is none. It would damage confidence massively, but in principle not much would change. There would be only two options as a reserve currency, that would be the Euro and the Yuan. But both have their weaknesses, and other currencies like the Yen or the Swiss Franc are too small to serve as a world reserve currency.

...but their telegram group (mojitoswap's group) is full of bots and shilling messages ...

Honestly, what do you expect if there is a bounty campaign joining the telegram group and require them to post there? This is the same with almost all Telegram groups where joining is a condition to get bounty tokens or participate in the airdrop. And in the end you only get crumbs anyway, because these days you do a distribution without doing a KYC. I would generally keep my distance from such events/campaigns.
