881  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Working on a forum for bitcoin startups on: July 13, 2017, 01:24:46 PM
Great idea, but seems unnecessary if you'd ask me. Stuff like that works better on a round table with a cup of coffee, so It's gonna be really difficult to make it thrive. Still, don't get disheartened because it can.

Good luck!
882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future? on: July 13, 2017, 12:25:33 PM
Good thing BTCBTCBTC is decentralized. Although it doesn't appear much to be.
883  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to the moon on: July 13, 2017, 12:14:50 PM
If the price of bitcoin now, including already in bitcoin prices go to the moon, I think this is the beginning, because I think the bitcoin will reach the price even higher than the current price, so give a smile for the price now.

How about your opinion?

I think that bitcoin price would start its journey to the moon only after august 1 when segwit will be activated.I think this would be the last chance to buy bitcoin at price around $2200 and people who buy more bitcoins now are making their fortune bright.

If you've bought or mined btc way back it's inception, you're already at the 'moon' price-wise. As for segwit, there'll be a price movement, that's a given. The thing is  no one knows how the market would accept that, so it's pretty much a tough time to buy IMO.
884  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1st Aug event: Possible Bitcoin pump? on: July 13, 2017, 11:54:12 AM
It can be time people will buy altcoins Smiley

The thing is most of the alts got their price hooked to BTCBTCBTC too. Except the big ones of course.
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: July 13, 2017, 11:37:20 AM
Is this official? Is the bulls will really release butler and remain wade instead? This is a great loss to chicago bulls. Timberwolves has lot of good players even without them. Karl Anthony Towns is enough. He just need time to get more experience. NBA must set a limitation to avoid superpower teams.

Every team has their own jurisdiction to make some boost on their line up. It's like everyone seems to have good choice and set of their players and still there's no guaranteed even they have super roster still, no one is sure of that they can lead in the brackets. As only 2 teams will remain in the finals to beat for this season's championship.
It’s an arms race in the West right now. Either you create a super team or just watch from the sidelines, as evidenced by the migration of superstars and concentration of high-caliber talents on several teams. Meanwhile the East continues to have a star-drain and it might only be a matter of time before Lebron decides to take his talents somewhere in the West.

Why would LBJ go over to the west? He controls the east, that's a very good advantage for him. But it's true, the conference divide is now farther than ever.
886  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should long term holders sell before August 1st? on: July 13, 2017, 05:11:03 AM
Well as for me, I'm expecting for a major price move. Already cashed out a couple just to be on the safe side.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: July 09, 2017, 08:24:27 AM
Just saw this Hall kid who got signed by the Lakers. They are toting him as the next Steph Curry. And the father is even causing a stir about it.
They have their own reality show and whatever.
Man this guy is over hyped or what for next season?
He played last night in a exibition match or something in the summer league and he didn't do well at all for what they are going to be paying him to do next year. Saying he is going to turn the team around and whatever he is meant to do for the Lakers.
Seems like all hot air to me. After scoring 1 three pointer and not producing as everybody expected him to against the up and comers of the NBA next season.
Yeah, his dad even said that Lakers will reach Playoff because they have Lonzo Ball in team, lol.
Last night, on summer league against Clippers he was shooting 2-15 in game... He should have been called Air Ball, lol.
By me, much much better player is 3rd pick Jayson Tatum and he is already showing his potential.
Celtics did right thing when they drafted him Smiley

Lonzo seems all bluff to me. Basing from his performance up to now.
888  Economy / Speculation / Re: Experts! is it time to sell or buy? on: July 09, 2017, 08:20:25 AM
TIME TO BUY Grin
I added several coins today Waves, Antshares, Litecoin, Melon and EOS

Is this because of the August 1 event that is why a lot of people are buying the altcoins?
Because of that belief that when bitcoin goes down then altcoins went up?
I think it will just be a good thing if you would be picking the right coin where bitcoin investors will be dumping their money from the withdrawn bitcoins.

I think some investors are fearing that bitcoin price might fall below 2000$ after August 1, and this is making them panic sell. I think it is good time to buy as price is a bit low now a days . After August, i think bitcoin will be above 3000$.

Well why would it fall so deep come August 1? I can't find much of a solid cause for that.
889  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How/Where to Report Stolen Cryptocurrency? on: July 01, 2017, 01:33:42 PM
Even forex brokers are from different countries and independent, they are binding to obey some community like Forexarmy. They cannot ignore complaints against them for no proper reasons.
I wish bitcoin related service providers to make a consortium where disputes to be handled on higher priority. We do see every where lazy customer care responses related complaints with almost 90% of bitcoin based services.

Perhaps we can suggest it here? It's gonna make things a bit easier when it happens to us too.
890  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Steemit, is it worth it? on: July 01, 2017, 01:30:18 PM
Even a first time post on Steemit would earn you somewhere between $0.01-$1 without much effort. Though I don't post on Steemit at all, I like how news gets there fast, so I mostly just read what people write, and it's quite interesting. Anyone should really try it, even once.

Reminds me of Bubblews, which is already down anyway.
891  Economy / Speculation / Re: No need to panic guys! Here's why... on: July 01, 2017, 01:26:35 PM
If BTC price goes down we can get more coins! Come on baby make it $500 I won't mind!

If BTC price goes up...  Grin to the Moon of $100,000 we go! Be patient... your patience will be granted

You guys need to be more optimistic about Bitcoin in general..

I agree, and in the meantime, why not trade some alts to make the number of btc go up?  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
I don't panic at all at dips, it's just market "breathing"

The way I see it, it's gonna slide down a little more. It's been on an uptrend over the last few months, so a downtrend would naturally follow. What we don't know is how long it'll last.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: July 01, 2017, 12:58:30 PM
Steph Curry has signed off new contract with Golden State champion for another five years, for which he will be rewarded with $ 201,000,000. It's about the so-called "supermax contract" - the best ever signed in the NBA, for the first time in history has exceeded the limit of $ 200,000,000 - absolutely earned for one of the best players of today, as he has not been on the list of top 30 basketball players In the league.

IMO Durant deserved that way better than Steph based on their performances this past season.
893  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitpay release Bitpay wallet App Windows Phone on: July 01, 2017, 12:52:35 PM
A noble gesture, but Windows phone is now in its death throes. Perhaps it'll be revived somewhat by a Surface phone if it ever arrives.

Still, they also released Copay on Windows phone which as far as I could tell was the only decent wallet ever available for it.

Somehow I think it's unnecessary move from them. They should have just kept on improving their service.
894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: July 01, 2017, 09:26:15 AM
Oh wow Paul George was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder now, will this be a one shot for him to prepare him going to the Lakers as what the rumors tell us. Or him and Russell Westbrook will be a long term partner in OKC. Well stepping all of that aside I think the value of trading superstars for a good player is gone. Look at what they exchange in order to obtain Paul George and Jimmy Butler? Its like this superstars are really want to be gone in those cities that is why they are on a bargain trade. That is what I am seeing right now.

I thought he was going to HOU. HOU is trading so much right now that it signals it's acquiring another star besides CP3. Let's see who he is.
895  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: i want invest money in cloud mining on: July 01, 2017, 05:40:32 AM
DO NOT INVEST IN CLOUDMINING ... definitely not worth it.

If you still want to cloudmine then your only options are Hashnest, Bixin or BW.

But be aware you can't profit just on the mining itself. You have to be active trader (buy/sell GHs all the time). Mining revenues are only kind of bonus.

True. It's exactly just like buying stocks. You buy Gh/s and you get mining revenues like dividends, but the real profit comes from trading, and not from holding these GHs.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: July 01, 2017, 05:27:13 AM
Minnesota is creating a great team! Minnesota has taken Jimmy Butler and with Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns is already a playoff team (last time in the playoffs dates back to 2004).
It can also take a strong free agent (like Kile Lowry). Minnesota may be a surprise in the coming season

Indeed. These young guns mixed with veterans like butler and rubio definutely makes them a formidable team to seriously make it to the playoffs next season. Though it may take a season or two to get them jelling to their full potential i think. But none the less, it's going to be pretty exciting to watch these young wolves

I like to disagree here. Jimmy Butler is good but I can't see him as a good addition to the Timberwolves current roster which is now not a playoff contender.  They need to add other. Remember, Chicago Bulls choked to Boston Celtics after 2 nothing lead during playoffs and what's more special Butler is alongside with Dwayne Wade and good lineup compare to Timberwolves but still got 4 consecutively losses and waived goodbye to the playoffs. Is that you can called a contender?

And by the way, Rubio is traded now to Utah Jazz.

Rubio is good, but not on a star level. Playoff contention? It's all gonna depend on KAT's performance this year. He's gonna be a superstar, way better than Butler would ever be.
897  Economy / Speculation / Re: A big old correction going on... on: June 28, 2017, 01:34:34 PM
it seems like market loves $2500+ price so much better than anything else. and it is a pretty nice middle ground price too. it is exactly in the 50% way up to $3000 and has a lot of room to go down in case some whale decided it is time for FUD in a couple of weeks.

Let's see how long $2500 can hold up. It looks to me once this level is broken it may go down easily at the $2000s again.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: June 28, 2017, 01:29:17 PM
If Paul George would be in Cleveland, they can now match up with GSW line up. But what I heard is if they will have Paul George in their line up they won't hold Kevin Love and I think GSW has still advantage on that not unless they will keep K.Love in their team. But the problem is their salary cap.

Yes possibly, they can have a good match with Golden State Warriors. I don't know but NBA is not just about Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers but we are in the era where these two teams are having a hot rivalry. If that is the condition they will let go of Love, well better they will have those both players.
The Cavs also need to upgrade their bench since they were badly outplayed by the Warriors' bench, almost in all of the five games of the Finals. Paul George might be good but isn't he playing the same position as Lebron James? Can we really expect Lebron to play power forward for the most part of the game? Or is PG13 going to be the power forward in a small ball line up for the Cavs? That would mean less playing time for slow bigs like Tristan Thompson, who by the way, struggled big time in the Finals.

I don't see much of a problem with that, in fact IMO it's advantageous for them. You can't always have LBJ carrying the team as PF, having PG take off the load while LBJ rests would be really good for the team.
899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: June 25, 2017, 10:58:43 PM
Mayweather will box technically, scoring points while avoiding trouble/too many big hits from McGregor and cruise to victory after twelve rounds. He doesn't have to land any punishing shots, just keep scoring points and stack winning rounds.

Much like what he does when he's scared of his opponents. Not fun to watch.

Lots of young talent in this year's draft. Didn't expect the Celtics to be getting Tatum actually, their roster is pretty loaded already.
