901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Story of Bitcoin and Satoshi Nakamoto on: June 27, 2021, 04:14:21 AM
Real is real, Fake is fake. I think my old friend will see this and remember me. Maybe they not come out.
You must have some sort of key word or key phrase in this post so your so called old friends will be able to recognize that you are who you claim you are. I don't believe you to be honest because if I am right about satoshi,, I don't think that this is the time that he/she will be revealing is/her true identity to the forum/public.
902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rate of bitcoins being lost vs. rate of bitcoins being mined on: June 27, 2021, 03:39:21 AM
I think that overtime as the blocks get more harder to be completed in mining, lost coins rate will probably catch up or not because as people is learning more about bitcoin and it's value, I think that they will be more careful because they don't want to lose something valuable like bitcoin.
903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No One Can Shut Down Bitcoin on: June 26, 2021, 01:31:01 PM
Yes no one can shut down bitcoin as long as there still a miner out there the Bitcoin cannot be shut down although the government can ban it they still can't stop it and monitor all of its citizen if one or few of them are still mining the government can only do is to ban it but it won't stop the person in receiving and sending Bitcoin as a mode of payment.
Unless all the government becomes like China, where every street corner has a camera or some form of surveillance., i think they will be able to suppress anything illegal not to mention that in small spaces, mines gets pretty hot so some neighbors will probably notice it.
904  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: June 26, 2021, 11:48:01 AM
Maybe when the profit is pretty high than you could've expected, I think that's probably a good time to sell. For me that's a pretty standard way to have a safe point when you are trading in bitcoin but you have to be really quick in making a decision because the market doesn't wait for you, it will continue to move no matter what.
905  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This sh*t ain't for the faint of heart! 😭 on: June 26, 2021, 09:16:26 AM
Indeed, those who live in doubt will never be given a chance to improve themselves but to keep where they are today. Risk-takers will win, that is the reality not only in crypto but in real life as well.
Anyway, it has to know that crypto investment hasn't good always, not all the time we are in profit, a thing that can never be changed. And those who have a faint of heart will really be disappointed when seeing their fund is decreasing.
It's easy to remove the doubt, just give them the evidence that things will work out if they try, many people just want to see something to believe it. I agree that risk takers will win but I also like to add that the smart risk takes are the ones that will get ahead and be more successful because they will find the ins and outs.
906  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop losses on: June 26, 2021, 08:43:13 AM
Seriously from the little experience am having in Cryptocurrency I believe the first thing you should always do after buying a coin is to set stop lost because some times after buying a coin the coin will start dumping I believe stop Lose is very important because it will definitely cut your lost and after the coin is down you can easily buy back the coin again at lower amount. Let me use myself as example I bought sxp coin last year on binance at $3.2 thinking the coin will pump to $5 but suddenly bitcoin started dumping which affected the coin but with the help of stop-loss it sold itself at $3.0 after the coin dump to around $0.8 I bought again and I sold it at $5 few weeks again so you see stop-loss is very important.
Pretty sound advice for newbies although when it was my first time buying bitcoin, I didn't put mine but I was lucky that the prices back then was on a rally so I did get a decent profit there but I am speaking from experience, it might be different from you so there is an high chance that it will be different experience for you. Consider putting a stop loss.
907  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Cryptocurrency a Good Investment? on: June 26, 2021, 07:44:18 AM
Success will come to those who have sound judgment and patience. There are various methods required for profitable trading, but only educated and experienced traders get it. Cryptocurrency are obviously good investment but not to those give up after a few losing trades. If you think you perform your up to the mark then release, if not stay calm and always motivated.
Those things that you are saying can only be achieved if the person tries to trade because that's how you gain experience and knowledge, by doing it but besides doing it, you also need to read the important things because it's not enough that you have experience if you have a little knowledge. Crypto is a good investment if you are dedicated to becoming good at it.
908  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading vs Holding on: June 26, 2021, 05:23:24 AM
This too being pitted agains each other is a bit nonsensical to me bbecause they have a different timeframe, daytrading is on the short-term side of things while hodling is on the long-term side so they don't really meet halfway and they are basically different. They are both good it just depends on what your goal is, if it's short or long term that is.
909  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is selling? on: June 26, 2021, 04:43:34 AM
I already sold mine back when the prices were dangling around 50k and 60k so I don't worry about selling because I am accumulating again and I think that there's nothing wrong with that because I know for a fact that I deserve to get some profits out of the bitcoin that I am hodling.
910  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do Not Sell! Don't Let The Whales Get Your Precious BTC! on: June 26, 2021, 04:03:10 AM
That is if you have a goal of short-term which is going to be different from those that have a long-term goal like @virtualdn who has been hodling for a long time. I did get my share of profit when I sold above 50k so I don't mind hodling for a really long time on this one.

Good timing for you if you managed to sell your asset during that period, the market still volatile

and without certain goals, your chance to bring something out from the market  is really slim, you

need to point your target and make sure to have a good overview of the incoming market, from that

point your chance to sell with good value is very high.
I have been hodling those bitcoins for about 6 months back in March so I might as well earn some money out of it because it's not like bitcoin is going to go up forever knowing that it's as volatile as it was back then. You are right that you should make a goal before selling because without one, you will get lost along the way.
911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do Not Sell! Don't Let The Whales Get Your Precious BTC! on: June 26, 2021, 02:44:13 AM
Anybody with normal functioning brain and who knows some about markets would be already cash out maybe even before 30k$ or at least above 50k$
That is if you have a goal of short-term which is going to be different from those that have a long-term goal like @virtualdn who has been hodling for a long time. I did get my share of profit when I sold above 50k so I don't mind hodling for a really long time on this one.
912  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump regrets not banning twitter as he hails Nigerian government for doing so on: June 25, 2021, 01:40:26 PM
Wouldn't there be a process before something like banning a platform be done completely in a democratic country. Plus, he is just bitter that he got banned from the platform because of his obnoxious behavior and toxic following.
913  Economy / Economics / Re: How Bitcoin Improves Financial Access And Inclusion on: June 25, 2021, 12:57:42 PM
I believe will is the driving force behind everything in life. I agree with you, those who are poor cannot sit there and think about buying bitcoin but, if you will allow me, I would like to point out that investing in education might pay off in the long run. Even the child born in a poor family, with will, sacrifices and dedication could succeed thanks to a lot of studying to improve his life conditions.
I have been studying bitcoin in my spare time (mostly at night) and have been working in the industry since 2016. And I am certainly not a rich man's child.

I think it's more of a survival rather than will in my opinion, we do what we can do to survive. Probably will is an innate characteristic but it's not the biggest factor. I have no qualms with education but if the curriculum that is taught with the goal of making employees then what's the point, sure there are some that wants to do work like that.
914  Economy / Speculation / Re: Repeating the price cycle every 4 years on: June 25, 2021, 11:46:22 AM
Hopefully that can be the case for the long-term, that bitcoin market is following a pattern of growth because that alone can help you predict how you are going to buy and sell your bitcoin whenever you want to.
915  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will China's crackdown on Bitcoin cause Bitcoin to become worthless? on: June 25, 2021, 11:11:38 AM
trust me this is only temporary, and there is no way bitcoins become worthless just because of china. bitcoin is not only owned by the Chinese alone but the whole world now knows bitcoin. strengthen your mentality to get used to market sentiment because what I know is that it's not just this once that China has tried to bring down bitcoin with all its polemics, but they have done it many times, but bitcoin continues to be valuable.
A lot of users in this forum are saying this because it is true and I do agree with it because I have seen a lot of FUDs already and I have never seen any FUD persist that long, their like a flu, it feels shitty at first but as time goes by, it will eventually go away.
916  Economy / Speculation / Re: The calm before the storm? on: June 25, 2021, 10:18:46 AM
Probably it is a calm before the storm, I might have to sell some right now and then buy back when the prices go down again, hodling alone isn't going to be enough for me since I need to make more money because I plan to diversify.

That, If Btc price goes down.
Weak hands have probably left the market already as the mempool has been cleared out.
However, a dip might be possible because of the FUD surrounding in every social media nowadays, but it doesn't seem to be affecting the price. Let's see how it turns out in the last week of this month.
The storm could be a sharp decline or a huge bounce to $50,000.

I think the weak hands are already back in the market, the prices are going up again. We don't know what's going to happen next but I agree with you that we just wait and see how it turns out.
917  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin the best one to invest in? Or am i too late? :( on: June 25, 2021, 09:33:57 AM
I think that it is still the best one because it still has the highest price of all the other cryptocurrencies out there and I don't think that you aren't too late investing in it, better late than never right?
918  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin plunging? What is the reason for this? on: June 25, 2021, 08:19:16 AM
The current China FUD is probably the thing that we have to blame for it but it's not something to worry about because I am pretty sure that like any FUD out there, it will probably have the same timeframe as any FUD which is short-term.
919  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's a good time for bitcoin on: June 25, 2021, 06:42:20 AM
nice to hear, so many people are increasingly putting their trust in bitcoin and feeling optimistic about it. It is highly probable that bitcoin has succeeded in developing and continues to be in demand from the positives from it, I personally continue to favor bitcoin in this world, and believe in its value will be higher with the fluctuation.
I think that it's the only way that you can do with bitcoin, trusting the process but we can't be too optimistic, remember that. It's much better to be practical with how you do in bitcoin because it helps you think the best decision even if that decision means selling to cut loss.
920  Economy / Speculation / Re: El salvador has become new history of bitcoin! on: June 25, 2021, 06:11:22 AM
I didn't expect El Salvador to dare to take a policy that was against the world bank, of course this is good news and I hope other countries follow suit, so that it will keep me on hold for a longer time
I think that the reason why they are doing this kind of thing against the World Bank is because they have some sort of ace up their sleeve and they think that that ace could be enough to hold up against the world bank plus why does World Bank have to interfere? It's not like they are making it a currency. I think that everything big that happens that is remotely related to bitcoin is pretty much part of the history, I don't think that El Salvador is any different but it's a welcoming one.
