201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: France's gambling recovers on: December 03, 2020, 04:53:13 PM
Gambling in other countries like France will definitely recover because many public places are now starting to re-open their business to get back all of their losses during the community quarantine lockdowns. I think other gamblers' gambling activity has been active, even during the pandemic, because there are still online gambling sites that they could still play and continue their gambling habit.
Even during the lockdowns, gamblers are surely still gambling and probably some of it just adapted to online gambling since it's much safer. And I think this could be one of the reasons how it's easy for the online gambling industry to recover amidst the pandemic because they still have customers after all. And just like what you have said, they probably get more customers now as the majority of the industries are now in the recovery phase, the same with people.
202  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A New Scam Strategy (Btc Refund Department) on: December 03, 2020, 03:42:15 PM
With such claims, any uneducated person regarding cryptocurrency has a high-vulnerability to be convinced. It may somehow increase their hope that they can probably recover what they have lost, especially those emotionally driven by their funds. Sadly, they don’t have any idea that their mistakes are being used against them. Unfortunately, it is just a form of manipulation as the defrauder is luring the victim to deposit in order to acquire the swindled bitcoin. Thus, learn to verify before making any deposit.
203  Economy / Economics / Re: Visa is getting more interested in Crypto on: December 03, 2020, 02:55:07 PM
The more we see giant companies adopting bitcoin, of course, there will be a higher chance that other big companies will also adopt and follow the trend. And since we are now seeing how visa, MasterCard, and PayPal are showing a positive view towards bitcoin and crypto, I bet we will also see further enterprises accepting and adopting bitcoin as well which is totally good for mass adoption.
204  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: ANO SA TINGIN NINYO KABAYAN, XRP and Bitcoin ATH na ba or May BIG WAVE pa? on: December 03, 2020, 12:47:10 PM

Read This. on: December 03, 2020, 11:16:30 AM
Kasi in real life, mahirap malubog sa utang. Hindi naman lahat ng utang ay pwedeng takbuhan kaya dapat talaga maging responsable tayo sa mga ipinangako natin hindi lang para sa image nating mga pinoy dito sa forum, pati na rin as an individual.
206  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers at work on: December 02, 2020, 04:22:51 PM
It is a tricky strategy which obviously establishes to attract attention, especially those avaricious people. Defrauders are not foolish to exposed a private key without the intend to swindle money. With advanced technology, defrauders will continue to develop and improve their schemes. The issue is, people believed and fall easily for such an obvious trap as they don’t visualize the specific motive for the revealed private key. Little did they know that as they deposit their funds, defrauders are rejoicing what they have obtained. Thus, be vigilant and be educated about such scam techniques.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO scams vs DeFi scams on: December 02, 2020, 03:00:05 PM
With the easy listing process of tokens in Uniswap, it will probably serve as their paradise. As they could easily develop a token and released it. It has a major contribution to the different scam issues; however, it is not the only problem. As some investors fail to conduct an analysis and carelessly buy a token which usually turns out worthless.
For instance:
[1] FLM On Uniswap FAKE!

These are the list of Defi scams, it seems to be continuously increasing which is unsurprising to see, as Defi is open finance.
[1] LIST DeFi-Scams - Big All-In-One-Thread - LAST UPDATE: 26/11/2020

Thus, we should be watchful and learn to conduct proper research. Do not just rely on the token list in exchanges, especially in unknown exchanges. But instead, explore the official website and do the purchase. Nevertheless, any platform can be hacked, greedy developers exist and the issues in Defi can definitely affect cryptocurrency’s honor.

Thanks for this share Brother! And I didn't know that there are already many Defi Scams that's popping right now and all the airdrops, social media minings, and some are them are in the bounty sections hidden,
As the Defi trend emerges, defrauders take advantage of it to tempt investors. They lure them with promising high-return investment and ends up being an exit scam. Some even imitate illustrious projects, tricking traders and investors to buy a useless token. There are tons of them, some remains mystery and hidden. Therefore, you need to be careful in choosing a Defi project and prioritize conducting an assessment.

209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pizza Hut accepts bitcoin on: December 02, 2020, 01:55:11 PM
It's great to see pizza hut and more enterprises accepting Bitcoin payments for their day-to-day transaction. With the proper promotion of the bitcoin payment they are offering, it can also increase recognition to other people who will see that promotion. And if more businesses are open for bitcoin, for sure others will also follow the trend. I hope that this kind of opportunity will also happen in other countries/continents, not just in South America.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Non-Standard Casino Games on: December 02, 2020, 12:31:23 PM
I also feel the same ways, playing dice game and roulette seems so boring to me because you don't need to do anything to have the advantage to win, you don't need to use any knowledge and skills because these games is luck-based gambling. I prefer more playing blackjack and sometimes betting in sports events, I enjoy playing blackjack because it requires me some efforts to think to have the advantage to win. I also get entertained and enjoyed betting in sports events because I like sports and I enjoyed watching especially basketball and racing.

One thing that we can conclude is that luck-based gambling feels so bored to gamble.
Luck-based games usually don't have many thrills compared to other games where you need to exert skills and knowledge when playing that's why it can get boring at times. Even me, I don't just spend my whole time gambling on games like dice because it gets boring the longer you spend on it that's why I also enjoy other games like poker. As for sports betting, it indeed has way more thrill compared to luck-based games.

212  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the biggest issue for beginners ? on: December 01, 2020, 05:11:57 PM
Personally, it is the confusion of where and when to begin. As a non-technical beginner, I find it difficult to understand simple terms relevant to cryptocurrency. As cryptocurrency has a wide range and variety of subjects, it caused a mind full of thoughts and questions. At that moment, I have realized that I should not push myself to understand everything in a specific time frame. For that reason, I have gained some knowledge as time passes by. I start little by little, from its definition, words associated, crypto wallets, exchanges and etc. Thankfully, there’s a forum that exchanges ideas regarding cryptocurrency, which helped me enhance my understanding in the past years.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment on: December 01, 2020, 03:03:16 PM
Investing in altcoins are safe as long as you know where you are investing. It's already given that there are also a bunch of scam projects that are just trying to defraud others by making them believe in their claims. But of course, not all altcoin projects are like that, so you just need to find a legit project to say that it's safe. And to know if a project is legit, always do enough prior research, know the team behind it, know their objectives and such. It's not how you make altcoin investment safe, it's how you keep yourself safe from scammers when investing.
214  Economy / Economics / Re: genius idea to fix all economy best idea on: December 01, 2020, 01:42:50 PM
Wow, that's a brilliant idea to fix the economy. I don't know why you still have to post such an idea if you are just kidding. When you have too much, its value starts to lose and that's where inflation emerges. Even if the government will do this (that I doubt they will do), prices will start to increase even before the lower classes can get free money which means they will just suffer even more. This won't really help the economy though.
215  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin profit Christmas gifts. on: December 01, 2020, 09:07:46 AM
Hey guys, what presents will you buy for Christmas from your bitcoin profit?
Tbh, I still have no idea what to give my family as a present. But I will probably use some of my profits to buy foods or ingredients needed for a simple celebration.  Though we encountered a lot of problems this year, in our country, we never forget to celebrate this occasion as it's already a part of the tradition so they will still celebrate regardless of how much money they have. And for me, I may not have a huge profit but I still want to give simple presents to my family so I will use a small portion of my profit but not all since I also need to save.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People still don't know about Bitcoin on: November 30, 2020, 03:57:12 PM
We have to understand if we encounter a lot of people who still have no idea what is bitcoin since it's still at the early stage of adoption. This is nothing new and it will still take time before we get to see more people know about bitcoin. Even if we are seeing news of bitcoin adoption, it's still not enough for other people to recognize it in certain areas. If you want to give an awareness op, then you can probably start by introducing what is bitcoin to some close people around you. But as I have said, it will take some time for bitcoin to be more known.
217  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Social Media Comment with link investment on: November 30, 2020, 02:36:10 PM
As the social media platforms are accessible by the public, defrauders can easily create an account they can use to execute their scheme. Thus, people should be educated about the risk of Ponzi schemes in an interactive multimedia system. Often in such cases, the individual offering a high return does not show enough data and information that will prove the reliability of the investment. Therefore, practice being critical. Learn to make considerations before making a series of decisions and be responsible for securing your funds.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on Open ending events? Should casinos continue offering them? on: November 30, 2020, 01:47:14 PM
That's why I am not really a fan of betting on this kind of event. But since some bettors decided to vote on this kind of event, they should know or accept if there's a delay in the outcomes. But as for the presidential election between Trump and Biden, does it really have to be delayed when Biden was obviously leading and the winner. Trump just can't accept that he lost the election. Also, if this kind of event is really popular among bettors, casinos will keep on offering this kind of bet event.

Betting in an open ending events for me was a much risk taking than betting in the sports. I am not a fan of betting in an open ending events too because i am not so patiently waiting for the result of the betting game. I'd rather to bet in a sports game where it only takes an hour to announce the winner. I guess i am not that good of waiting in like for how many days just watching or reading about the pulse of possible winner.
Me myself, can't find the excitement in waiting for quite a long time just to see and know the results in open ending events. The longer you wait, the longer it gets boring for me, unlike in actual sports betting where there's still excitement before knowing the winner because you're watching the sports that give you a thrill. I feel like waiting for the result that takes a few days or even a month will just get you anxious.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In my school, Bitcoin is now becoming a subject on: November 30, 2020, 07:16:16 AM
It's nice to hear (especially that we are in the same country) that your school or your professor is open about teaching and educating you about bitcoin. I'm curious if your school will include a specific discussion about bitcoin as part of your course program, or it was just being discussed/introduced by your prof? It's still nice because your other classmates might have no idea what is bitcoin can also learn even just the basic one.
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: France's gambling recovers on: November 30, 2020, 05:21:31 AM
Online gambling is becoming more popular among gamblers because we are in a pandemic and it's safer to gamble online. This is really nice for their part that France is now in the process of recovering. And I like how they see the benefits of regulating gambling in terms of revenue to help them. Even with the struggle in our current situation, the gambling industry is still doing well and it can be a help for their economy to recover.
