181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could There Be One World Digital Currency? on: December 08, 2020, 04:47:01 PM
Other countries may adopt and start their own digital currencies, and some are already taking a look at this adoption but let's not expect that there would be a one-world digital currency. Not all countries would agree to have a single currency, what more to the adoption of cryptocurrency when we can already see several countries do not have a positive perspective towards it. Even if it's gaining attraction lately, it's still not enough as the majority still don't know or have sufficient knowledge about crypto.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adaptability is very important on: December 08, 2020, 03:23:02 PM
I think this adaptability is already given to be able to handle different market situations. Understanding and adapting to the market is indeed a fundamental factor that we need to learn here in crypto because of its nature. Though even if you are a professional, you can't always know how will the market move so there is still the risk factor. But as long as you understand and can ride along with it, we can use that as our strength.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from my curiosity on: December 08, 2020, 02:46:09 PM
It's time for bounty hunters to stop promoting any DeFi projects they see, you guys are just been used to make scammers work easier, through us they get awareness faster, before promoting any new altcoins most especially DeFi projects do very deep research first, find any clue to atleast get some confidence to promote, if you are sceptic then don't promote
Honestly, it seems impossible as some of them continuously accept and join any prevailing trend. Also, with the increasing Defi projects, such a situation is likely to arise. Sadly, some of the bounty hunters are blinded by the rewards. They mindlessly join a campaign and disregard conducting a review of the project. They don’t understand its major contribution to their reputation and to the investors interested in entrusting their funds to the project. Nonetheless, OP has made the right decision in avoiding it.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looks like another big company will add crypto as payment soon on: December 08, 2020, 01:34:08 PM
Op's link is not working but as I have searched about this, this will be a great opportunity for crypto to be known by more people especially that big businesses are now looking at crypto as a good means of payment option. Since we have recently heard about PayPal, we already predicted that more giant companies will also follow and be open to crypto. I believe that this can be a big step forward to bitcoin adoption in the future if these giant companies will continue adopting crypto.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to DeFi? on: December 07, 2020, 04:40:58 PM
Scammers will always be there, especially now that Defi is getting so much hype so they will probably use it as an opportunity to delude others. Defi is a great opportunity when it comes to finances, but since scammers are also joining the hype, we just have to be careful when choosing a project. Unfortunately, we cannot get rid of scammers, but if we know how to avoid them and keep ourselves safe from scammers, then we can still enjoy the usefulness of Defi without getting scammed.
186  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies + Bounty = Zero future on: December 07, 2020, 03:36:07 PM
They prioritize money over knowledge and that's the time that they will have a problem understanding their goals in life.
Unfortunately, the concept of the forum has been falsely introduced to newbies. Thus, they approached the forum with the idea of making money as it was informed to them in such a manner.

This forum is not only about earning money, it is about character development and widening your understanding towards the economy, cryptocurrency, blockchain technology and etc.
The forum opened so many opportunities to everyone, especially in the matter of knowledge. It has different sections that discuss various informative and helpful topics. But sadly, they don’t understand the benefits of knowledge but rather focus on what they can possibly buy with their earnings.

This is not a gambling site, this is not a money making platform, so you should develop your mindset and start hustling not only with bounties but you for you skill to improve and become much more effective in making critical discussions here in our forum.
The forum is meant to be a discussion where people exchange their knowledge and ideas about a particular matter. Getting sufficient and new knowledge is much better than just focusing on earning money here.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone who have worked or currently working in casino? on: December 07, 2020, 02:34:08 PM
Getting out of financial trouble in gambling is not something that casino staff or anyone can do for us. I believe that in this case, it's on ourselves and should not depend on others. Even if you ask other people that have not worked in any casino yet, they can only advise about properly managing our finances. I mean, we suffer from financial problems because of our own fault by putting everything on gambling, and that's something we need to fix to avoid financial trouble.
Definitely true, the casino staff were there to accommodate the gamblers, their clients and clients for them are their source of income. What i wanted to emphasize was that the casino staff or casino dealer has nothing to do with our lose in gambling because they are only facilatated and the responsibility for our lose was on our shoulder. We are the one who have a complete control on ourselves.
Casino staff are just doing their work but letting gamblers suffer from financial difficulties is not part of their job. Even if they will stop or advise gamblers to limit their gambling, would gamblers follow their advice? Even the staff's advice cannot guarantee us that we can avoid financial problems because it's up to us if we're going to be a responsible gambler. It's our greediness that leads us to financial problems and we should be responsible for that.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japan becomes more friendly towards Gambling on: December 07, 2020, 01:42:25 PM
I'm not really familiar with the gambling policies in Japan but aside from attracting attention to the gambling industry, this can also bring a positive impact on their tourism since foreigners could use this as an opportunity to gamble in Japan without having to pay tax when they win.

Would things like this benefit other countries too?

If other countries would follow this, there's no guarantee that they will also benefit since it still depends on how they are going to promote gambling to attract foreign customers. But we still have to see how this tax reform will benefit Japan.
189  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake MyCelium be aware! on: December 07, 2020, 01:03:23 PM
The credibility of the play store has been questioned with such an issue, as it contradicts their statements regarding the impersonation of apps. Hence, the apps published in the play store can’t be trusted, as the rating and reviews can be easily fake. The proliferation of fake wallet apps has been a big problem ever since, as some well-known wallets are involved. Thus, we should check the app carefully before downloading it. Also, it is better if we initially look at the website itself to be sure that we will place our funds in a legitimate wallet. Regardless, we should just report the app to avoid people getting victimize.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: **family survives 40 countries living only on Bitcoins** on: December 06, 2020, 05:02:17 PM
This story is indeed amazing because they were able to travel to different places only using bitcoin for their day to day transactions.
But I'm more personally amazed how they were able to travel to 40 countries for 4 years since 40 is quite a lot. I bet they struggle finding shops that accept bitcoin back then, but since bitcoin is now gaining more attention, it means that they can find more businesses accepting it. The whole story is fascinating and it's nice to know that they are also promoting bitcoin around the world by doing what they do for the past 4 years.
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How tricky is this? on: December 06, 2020, 04:20:12 PM
It's so much disappointing when you are in this situation because you already have that hope but then, your bad luck strikes. Several situations may happen to the players or in the sport itself that's why even if it's already the last game, it can't be always on our side. It's indeed upsetting but for me, I just always try to move on after some time and think that I'm always not that lucky. If it's not meant to be, then I will just try my luck next time.
Sometimes I believe that they make  an algorithm that if you will near to success you will lose that game, maybe consecutively win needed to have losses, I think maybe it is only misfortune or a piece of bad luck but it will all depends on you, when you win, better to save some of it so that you will already have your winning money , then bet the half of it, it is just a safe play not to lose too much if you feel that bad luck will come and will wash out your money.
We won't reach that part of "success" if we wouldn't try, and I think that's the reason why most bettors who have this kind of experience still keep on trying their luck. But sometimes greediness can really mess up our luck and I'm somehow guilty about this because I've experienced this near success thing. Your suggestion is good tho, but when you're feeling lucky because of your consecutive wins, it's kinda hard to think that bad luck will come to mess it up.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maximum Defi Project Failed in 2020 on: December 06, 2020, 03:45:57 PM
In this year 2020 maximum Defi Project Failed I don't know why? All of them claim that his project is real and will be successful but maximum failed to success in crypto market.
They also destroyed too much people funds because people trust on them and invest here but in the end his defi project become failed.
What's your opinion about defi that why maximum project failed in 2020?
I don't know anything about that project but most of the projects in defi are failing. It's no longer getting the best attention that it gets just like before. Those that were launched earlier were the ones that took the momentum for the investors.
Don't question why a project like this has fallen because it's most of them are failing anyway.

Yes, I'm still confused here, however, we already smell from afar that Defi projects is just pure hype from the very beginning. Thus we all know that sooner or later it will fail miserably, like ICO and IEO in the past. So majority won't get into the next cycle as they will die specially if there is a new hype that comes along.

Good for those early bagholders, or for those whales and manipulators. Bad for those who don't DYOR and losing money in the Defi hype.

It is also the investor's responsibility to know and study if the project is legit or authentic. If you visit the scam accusations board here, you will find out a lot of these DeFi projects have existing allegations or plagiarism, use of fake photos, ponzi scheme and others. So if you have no time to dig on your own, you can browse this scam board and you will find out that a lot of these defis have issues.
However, it is the problem as some investors are impulsive-decision makers with their investments, especially with the rise of cryptocurrency trends. They disregard the benefits of conducting research with their process of assessing the project. Some of them barely have an idea of the differences of the projects, its objective, and significance in the market. Thus, we should perform our role as an investor and look into tiniest detail. Regardless, numerous Defi project has failed to continue in the crypto market. It is unsurprising honestly, as the concept of Defi has been misused by different projects.

195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone heard of lemmecoin? on: December 05, 2020, 04:28:41 PM
Thanks all for the reply.  So for some more detail;

The sent a message in Discord saying I had won .67 bitcoin.  I registered at the site with a burner email/name etc and entered the code.  Sure enough the bitcoin appeared in the "wallet" on the site.  Of course I went to immediately withdraw the bitcoin to another wallet that I trust.  An error came up saying that due to some EU law they had to require me to deposit .03 bitcoin in order to access the coin.  Obviously this is a red flag.   Most of what I've initially described is a red flag in my opinion.  Thing is, if it is a scam, it's well done.  The site is well made, they have what looks like a chat and active community, but are lacking in other information like contact etc.  I did try to contact them but haven't received a response.  The fact that I can find so little information on something that claims to have been around for a bit is also odd.
It is a classic fraud technique, which has been implemented by different fake exchanges. It requires the user to deposit an amount to accumulate the reward. Usually, with such an approach, oblivious and credulous people are the potential victims. Remember, it can’t be considered as a reward if it asks you something in return, especially money. You should consider the red flags you have noticed as a basis of your decision. Therefore, you should not make any transaction in that exchange, seeing that they provide insufficient information
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will all countries accept crypto as currency? on: December 04, 2020, 06:39:25 PM
Not every government will accept and adopt bitcoin since accepting it will vary on their stand, and not every government has the same perspective towards bitcoin. Some countries are already against it, while the majority still have no specific regulation on bitcoin since I believe that bitcoin is still at the early stage of recognition so governments still have no law about it. In my country, it's not clearly legalized but I can say that they are open to bitcoin as they are not strict when it comes to it.
197  Economy / Economics / Re: world getting ready for 2021 for final year for usa dollar i guess so on: December 04, 2020, 05:28:54 PM
It's kinda ironic how you said that we gotta be realistic but the title itself is quite exaggerated already. The US economy might be down but to say that 2021 is the final year for the US dollar is unreasonable. And if I'm going to think of a realistic plan to save the economy, it would be the fast development and distribution of the vaccine. Once the vaccine is already out, then it means that we'll slowly start to go back to normal, same for the economy.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: France's gambling recovers on: December 04, 2020, 04:25:34 PM
Even during the lockdowns, gamblers are surely still gambling and probably some of it just adapted to online gambling since it's much safer. And I think this could be one of the reasons how it's easy for the online gambling industry to recover amidst the pandemic because they still have customers after all.

That's why I don't believe most that people don't have money during the lockdown.

Take an example in the OP's topic, France. There is a time wherein the European region becomes the hotspot of the virus but most of the countries there are noticeably having a healthy gambling activity online.

And now that other businesses are slowly rising, expect that the online gambling industry will be more bloom. And as stated in the topic, I agree that more regulation in gambling should be looked forward by a country instead of banning it completely.
Well, not everyone is really struggling financially to the point that they can barely survive the pandemic. This usually happens in third-world countries but probably not a common thing in France. Even if the majority are affected by the pandemic, gamblers will be gamblers. They will allot money so they can satisfy their gambling need, just like how the gambling industry in France can quickly start recovering even if we are still in a pandemic.

200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we gonna see a new ATH this year? on: December 04, 2020, 02:23:07 PM
I do have a high expectation that we'll be able to see a new ATH before this year ends, even the price of bitcoin is near reaching its ATH. We have heard several good news especially when it comes to adoption that probably contributed to it. Tbh, this is my first time to experience hitting ATH since I entered the market, and for sure,  most of us are really anticipating seeing it. I'm hoping that the new ATH will come by the end of this year, or if not, it's still possible at the beginning of 2021.
