401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone bet on the sharks yet ? on: October 15, 2020, 05:22:05 PM
Yeah, and now we have to bet on sharks and when they are going to migrate  to the other part? How do people come up with these stupid games? The last time I remember seeing a post over here were people were placing bets on fighting spiders. What are they going to come up with next? Which celebrity is going to die first? Or which country is going to be nuked first?
And why do people even bet on those games? What's wrong with betting in normal games?
Actually those past betting that becomes controversial is Fighting horse,Fighting Dogs and that fighting fish ,what i am missing is Fighting Birds ( not chicken but something like others who really flies)

Now they are upgrading and using sharks?like you i am asking whats wrong with these people, why always provide stupid games using animals when there are already existing gambling that brings fun to everyone.
This is probably because they are getting bored especially with the pandemic and lesser sports event to make bets that's why they are trying to find other "new" ways of betting. Though it's just kinda getting weirder the more they include different animals in betting. Animals do nothing that they are already being the subject for betting just to satisfy people's desires.

I kinda understand how others find it entertaining making bets with other animals, but I don't get what's exciting and entertaining waiting for sharks to migrate just to see where they are going. But for me, as long it's not harming any sharks, then they can spend their money on the things they want.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enpugh is enough time Truth about btc on: October 15, 2020, 04:09:45 PM
Satoshi is not creator there is more evidence that bitcoin is created by the banks!!

Let's stop this delusion and utopia btc is created by the jp Morgan and That's. The whole cryptocurrency is created by yale university guys the coinbase jp Morgan the cashh app they all the same people.

Its not Satoshi 100%
You have been claiming that for a year already, and yet you failed to provide supporting statements that will clarify your idea which you see in this post. As the creator of bitcoin has remained anonymous, until now, there has been a different speculative. So, why don't you present your analysis, the documents, and articles that discuss bitcoin is created by banks? In doing so, people can validate your statements and perceive your point.
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Covid 19 on: October 15, 2020, 03:03:33 PM
I am a businessman, I get a lot of income from my business, and I leave the world of trading, bounties and investing in crypto.  But after Covid came today, I decided to return to the crypto world, and I hope to have a good profit here.  what if i invest my business in bitcoin? is bitcoin still good?
Like what others said, bitcoin is still the same and in fact, it's getting more attention in investments. Being good or not now depends on how you will handle your investments in bitcoin to earn a good profit and avoid losses. And it seems that you've been here in crypto space before so it's not new to you at all so it means that you know how the market works.

But I'm wondering what made you come back when you mentioned that you are already getting a lot of income in your current business? Does it mean that it's affected by the pandemic? Why would you invest your business in bitcoin when you have a good profit there? Maybe you can invest some, but is it necessary to invest all?
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legit or not on: October 15, 2020, 11:47:07 AM
Its time to hear if bitcoin is legit or not!!
Someone with good and legit reputation need say here if bitcoin is secure safe and legit!!

We Trust USA dollar because its Federal reserve are legit guys!!

So is bitcoin good or not?

Someone like donald Trump should if its legit
Actually, bitcoin is legit it's just that people are abusing it that's why some people still doubt Bitcoin. I don't know why you still have some doubts and still ask this kind of question when you have been active here in the forum for some time already. Also, would people like us still be into Bitcoin or even spend time here if it's not legit? While safety is already on your part, how you will secure your assets.

I would understand OP asking this question if you are new to bitcoin but since you've been here for a year now, why still ask this kind of question?
405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Normal Game Setup - a success or a failure? on: October 15, 2020, 06:17:17 AM
Of course, sports event organizers need to find a good way to continue leagues even with the new set-up. It's hard actually, but everyone needs to understand that there are more limitations now because of the pandemic. And yes, it's not the same as before but it's good already to see that they are also trying their best just to resume games to give fans what they want. As long as leagues were able to finish the game safely, it's already considered a success regardless of the new changes and for me, that's what matters.
406  Economy / Economics / Re: State influence for cryptocurrency on: October 14, 2020, 04:14:57 PM
When there's a recession, the major effect is on the traditional market and I think there's only a little to no effect on crypto depending on how popular crypto is on a certain country being affected. I mean most of the people are still dependent on the central authorities even with this kind of problem since only a few knew about crypto. Unless the recession is getting out of hand and is already causing a big problem, then people will find a solution or an escape, and crypto can be one of that. However, crypto should not always be seen as the solution to every problem the economy faces.
407  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is bitcoin just for investors on: October 14, 2020, 03:09:57 PM
Bitcoin has different purposes and it's just up to you on what reason you will be using bitcoin. It's just evident how a lot of people see bitcoin as one of the good ways of investing that's why you will see people making it as an investment. But it's not just limited to that because as what I have said, it has different purposes like you can also use it for daily transactions and such. And to answer your question, bitcoin is not just, particularly for investors. It's up to us on how we see bitcoin works the best.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Crypto Ponzi Scheme Story to Hit Movies on: October 14, 2020, 02:06:24 PM
We don't have to generalize it, every coin is different from the other one. Just because they are both cryptocurrency, it does not mean that they will end up the same way. As I read the unpleasant experience of Jen McAdams, I feel that it will open the eyes of investors about trusting a stranger and believing an easy money investment. I think that it will teach an important lesson to investors that may influence them to be aware that such circumstance may happen if they easily trust a high promising profit.
409  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Cryptocurrency scam. on: October 14, 2020, 10:45:54 AM

Link: How to protect yourself from fake giveaways.

410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone bet on the sharks yet ? on: October 13, 2020, 05:33:58 PM
I never really thought that this kind of betting would occur as a replacement for the lack of sports events due to the pandemic. For me, this is something new but I wonder if bettors and gamblers would find interest in this kind of betting with sharks. Unlike the usual betting, I just find it not exciting or anticipating so I'm not sure if a lot of bettors will be interested. On the other hand, it's good to know that there are also some benefits to this for the sharks, not just making money out of it.

411  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crowdsourcing, I will reward merits as well to users I do like of their answers. on: October 13, 2020, 02:47:04 PM
1. What made up your mind to chose the sports you voted?
Ans. 1. It's because I'm not the athletic type so I only have few sports that I like watching and that's basketball. I also included CSGO because I also played this one and other several e-sports. Sleeping because I would prefer to sleep than to watch other sports that I'm not a fan of.

2. Do the sports you chose change your lifestyle? Yes or No and Why?
Ans. 2.Probably no because as I mentioned above, I'm not athletic so there's no big effect on my lifestyle. Maybe for e-sports back then because when I was so into it, it affected me negatively like in my studies.

3. What could it feels when one day you will going to meet in person you idolized in the sports you like?
Ans. 3.Well that's something special or something to remember because opportunities like that don't usually come for all fans. So I would be happy and excited of course.

4.Is it possible that you will going to change the sports in the future? Yes or No and Why?
Ans. 4.There's always a possibility once you get to know more about certain sports but for now, I'm not really into other sports.

5. If you will be given 1 btc and ask you to quit following the sports you like the most, will you do it for 1 btc? Yes or No and Why?
Ans. 5.Would they know if I will still keep following the sport in the future? Would someone be willing to monitor my life just to ensure that I don't follow that certain sport anymore? So I will take that 1btc.
412  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Twitter hack: Be careful with your account as attacks are increasing on: October 13, 2020, 01:45:13 PM
Twitter hackers who use this kind of scheme usually target famous people with a high number of followers so they can find more victims that will fall for it. Usually, people with no enough awareness tend to believe in what these famous persons are saying on social media even without checking it. And since hackers are continuously growing, it's not new at all so people on Twitter should be careful, not only for influential people but also for regular ones because not everything they will see or encounter in Twitter or any other platforms is real especially if it involves money.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: S4FE - Still The Project To Watch This Year! on: October 13, 2020, 12:20:51 PM
if i'm not wrong this is not a new coin right, but this altcoin born last year
anyway 500% ROI is really great, but how ?
regards

promising a return of investment is a huge red flag and from just reading the description the token is even not needed in their product because they only need the blockchain tech. I dont see a big revolution of sticking a sticker into your belongings when anyone can just remove it.
I agree with you, projects that have a promising return of investment are a sign of a red flag and most of the projects who have this kind of thing must be avoided. And a 500% ROI is huge and I think this kind of tactic helps them to attract investors to invest. But how sure are they to tell that they will gain 500% cause we all know that the market is very unpredictable and no one knows what will gonna happen? Therefore, it's not a good project to watch this year and it's better to find decent projects that have more potential and is more realistic than this one

415  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Belgian investors lost $12M to crypto and forex scams last year by clicking on a on: October 12, 2020, 03:48:27 PM
the scammers are making use of malicious platforms to scam victims by using fake advertisements on social media featuring pictures of celebrities, directing them to provide information to bad actors. The scammers lured victims to invest high amount, they will also try to persuade victim to let them take control of the victim's computer remotely so to be able to make certain payment, promising high yield return.
Here they are again, using these shady tactics to draw attention. Despite seeing a significant sign, many people still assumed that this kind of investment represents an earning opportunity. However, they don't visualize the risk they may encounter. Investors should be responsible for their own money, as scams continue regardless of diverse situations. Never put your trust in an ad without confirming if it is legitimate. Always do your research.
416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 12, 2020, 03:04:06 PM
Sports betting has been change because of the pandemic the overwhelming crowd is gone some sports has been cancelled.
The athletes that has been fired up due to the crowd cheering doesn't feel the warm of it anymore the pressure that has been put in the opponents team is also gone.
I think the only thing that hasn't been affected much by this pandemic is E-Sports since those player doesn't really care much about the crowd since they are too focus on the game and their tournament could still go on.
There are significant changes in sports that need to be adopted to keep everyone safe during the pandemic and this is affecting sports events, teams, and even fans/bettors.

Since you have mentioned e-sports I think e-sports are affected positively because they are getting more attention nowadays. More people are currently staying at home and e-sports is one of the ways to entertain ourselves since there are lessen sports events.

417  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Begging for merits is not a good idea. on: October 12, 2020, 02:06:52 PM
~snip
It should not be included as an idea to gain merit in the first place. We should not even give it a thought, as people make an effort to establish a good amount of knowledge, carry out research to learn and understand various topics, so they will be able to share it with the others. You can only rely on yourself to move forward as a member of this forum. Also, based on what you have mentioned, you probably know how most users here work such as working hard, etc, so perhaps you could start applying it to yourself mate.

If you want a good guide about gaining merits, you can check this out:

418  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't reply to private messages from unknown people! on: October 11, 2020, 05:07:33 PM
For me, it's okay to reply as long as you don't easily give your trust since it's a stranger you are talking to. But if that's the kind of message I will receive, No. I won't bother to reply to that and will just ignore it, I mean it's pretty obvious that it's a sort of scam trying if you will get swayed by the message. But for me, the message is not tempting at all because who would believe that some random old lady is willing to give her money to random people just because she's dying.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is to be the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency on: October 11, 2020, 03:45:35 PM
Will this be the beginning of a revival for cryptocurrencies because there are so many projects and project developments using blockchain technology
Don't get wonder why it goes like this. The number of crypto projects is growing but somehow many of them were just worthless. If we think about the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency? Yes, we have already started it in the past years. The adoption keeps moving on that is why we might seeing an increase in crypto projects but as I've said, not all of them will stay on the market long, some of them will just be dead.
Somehow it's a good thing that we are seeing more emerging crypto-related projects nowadays because it just means that more people are recognizing and adopting it compared to when it was just starting. However, it's also visible that there are scam projects and like what you said, not everyone is successful. So emerging projects can be a sign of the rise of crypto but it does not mean that all projects are worth trusting so we should still be careful because scammers are just using the hype for project development to scam people.
