161  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [UPDATED]Watchlist for Active Filipino Posters/Campaigners on: December 14, 2020, 02:38:31 PM
Good Day!

162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best place to invest, earn and predict among new projects???? on: December 13, 2020, 05:00:43 PM
Hello , I have done few researches on this new platforms and projects , so i understand that most of them are scam projects , about 70-80% , am i correct???  So i got 30 new projects and done my investigations , and 24 projects were scamm projects Cry Cry Cry
Sad to say, but it is. Thus, we need to be punctilious in assessing every project. It is good to see that you manage to conduct researches before investing. It will be useful as you proceed in making an investment decision.

so, new comers should be careful about these type of projects , so remaing 6 projects was , * CurioInest *
It seems that there is a mistake. Are you talking about CurioInvest? If it is one of the projects you are considering, then you might want to see the reported scam accusation about this in the forum. It may help you in your research regarding these projects. Contemplate it before making any decision.

163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If all state banks will make their own cryptocurrency. on: December 13, 2020, 04:21:32 PM
If that would happen, then simply all countries will have their digital version of their currency and it will work the same how their paper money works. Of course, they would prefer their own digital currency but I don't think that war or tension would occur since they will still be open for foreign currencies just like how it works today.

But all countries having their own digital currency is still quite far though we are already seeing several countries planning to have one.
164  Economy / Economics / Re: Cause of Covid Vaccine and it's Value on: December 13, 2020, 03:12:38 PM
We all want to live normally again and get rid of that fear of getting the virus. And I think the government will find a way to give their people the vaccine they need especially that it's the best way to get rid of the virus. In our country, the government is kinda depending on the availability of the vaccine, so I think they will be the ones who will spend on it because not everyone can pay for it. It's normal to have a fear of the possible effect of the vaccine once injected, that's why we can choose whether to take it or not.  If you're scared of it, then you can choose not to get vaccinated.
165  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Manny Pacquiao to roll out payment platform "PacPay" in 2021! on: December 13, 2020, 02:25:50 PM
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from my curiosity on: December 13, 2020, 11:43:05 AM
Everyone wants to make good money from crypto and DeFi is still the most trending this year, I'm not surprised that some bounty hunters are blinded by that fact but even if all this is true why can't bounty hunters choose projects carefully?
Even I wondered why, as it is unfortunate to see that they end up wasting their time promoting a project without getting decent pay. There could be different what if’s and it is difficult to answer. For now, it is better to give them some advice about it.

I don't really blame scammers taking advantage of bounty hunters, most times bounty hunters don't act like one,
You have got a point, as most of the time, bounty hunters are not paying any attention to the project.

if good observation is lost how can you know the difference between an unreliable project and a special project?
Unfortunately, you can’t. Thus, it requires the bounty hunters to at least make background research to identify if it is worth promoting. They play a major role for investors; they convince them to invest. The best they can do to help them is to identify if the project is reliable for their money.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Millennials’ impact on the future of digital assets. on: December 12, 2020, 01:48:17 PM
Expect that the younger generations will be the ones who will most likely adapt and invest in bitcoin and digital assets since we are now in the era where we are so fast adopting technological advancements. Aside from that, more big investors are now looking at bitcoin positively, and that could also help in bitcoin adoption. For sure, in the next years, we will see more people Millennials and younger people investing in bitcoin.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cambodia enacts new laws related to gambling. on: December 12, 2020, 01:02:32 PM
It's a good thing that they are positively updating their gambling regulations since it will be fairer to the gamblers. Both sides will benefit from it, including the gamblers with lower tax, casino owners since it will attract more customers, and the government from the tax revenue. I have been recently seeing news where the government is trying to improve its gambling regulations, and I think one reason is that they are trying to recover their economy. And I believe this is a good decision by the Cambodian government.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week on: December 11, 2020, 05:00:57 PM
That's very nice thinking of yours, op, and I salute you for that. I don't smoke but I know that for smokers, it's hard to stop especially when you are already doing it for a long time. But that's really great because you don't just start taking care of your health, but this will also help you in the future. Investing in bitcoin the money you usually use in a cigarette is a smart choice because it's a win-win situation for you. I hope others will also be inspired by this.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The DeFi Red Flags on: December 11, 2020, 04:16:09 PM
It is strictly necessary for an investor to execute a research of the listed red flags by the mere fact that it involves money and everything associated with it comprises a high-risk. Especially in these times, where defrauders are fabricating unusual ways to deceit the investors. A Defi project that contains one or any of those red flags should be avoided, especially with the information about the team and white paper simply because such information is relevant for an investor to make an effective investment decision.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: so if the fed printing money and btc goes up genius idea here on: December 11, 2020, 03:21:03 PM
Why would the fed print too much money when they obviously know how it will impact the economy and the value of their fiat? The people will just suffer from great inflation when they do that, and the money will be useless so what's the point of receiving free money. The fed is there to control the monetary system and I don't think that they are stupid enough to go and print so much money just to give it to everyone. Also, take Venezuela as an example since they are suffering from hyperinflation, and one of the alternatives they use is bitcoin, but it doesn't necessarily mean that btc will directly increase.
172  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic will bring more economic progress in long-term... on: December 11, 2020, 01:25:53 PM
The pandemic made people adjust to different ways that are much efficient and safer while we are still facing the threat of the virus. The good thing about these changes is we saw other alternatives that we can still continue to adopt even after the pandemic because of its convenience. And thanks to technology, the economy can still continue to function even when there's a crisis. Though there are some limitations since it does not apply to everyone, some employees find it practical when the nature of their job can be done through remote working.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 10, 2020, 03:59:27 PM
Most, if not all, of the top 10 countries that gamble the most are developed countries. This ranking must also reflect the kind of lifestyle they have in these countries. It means that people have some extras or surplus in their money because they have the luxury to spend an amount in gambling.

Poor countries may have a lot of gamblers also but they must be severely limited by the amount they can afford to lose or gamble.
That could be one of the main factors why these countries have a great gambling industry since they have more possible customers that can afford to spend more money on gambling unlike in developing countries. No wonder why places like the US has a lot of gambling places because it's popular entertainment that even foreigners travel to gamble in these countries.

Most gamblers in poor countries aim to find a financial solution in gambling that's why it's hard for developing countries to be on the list.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🤔 How do you distribute your portfolio? BTC vs Altcoins on: December 10, 2020, 02:28:32 PM
Most of what I have in my portfolio is definitely bitcoin. Probably most of us are the same, having more bitcoin than altcoins in our portfolio and there's no question about that. I cannot really tell the exact percentage of it but I prioritize bitcoin over altcoins. Though I also have some altcoins in my portfolio that I trust like eth and bnb.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it December a good time to invest in new ICOS? on: December 10, 2020, 01:39:56 PM
Regardless of the month, it is good to invest when you have the time, money, and courage to cope with different financial risks in the market. Specifically, with ICO’s, investors should dissect any potential red flags to verify the safety of the assets within the project. The successful outcome of an investment does not rely on the month but on the investor and the project. With a good ICO and proper investment analysis, you will be able to gain a profit.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Back then and Now Non-believer to Believer on: December 10, 2020, 12:51:04 PM
We sometimes face problems, and encountering scammers is not new since there's already a lot of scammers out there. But getting scammed doesn't mean it will always be bad for you here, you just have to learn from that lesson to avoid the same mistake. It's nice to hear that even with that bad experience of yours before, you did not close the door for bitcoin and still decided to believe in bitcoin.
177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to introduce Bitcoin and blockchain to people on: December 10, 2020, 12:00:48 PM
It will surely be a complex situation, as rural communities are mostly consisting of non-technical people. Thus, try to explain the concept of bitcoin in a less complicated method. Perhaps, a visual representation may help for a better insight. Also, if you want to educate people about bitcoin, then you should focus on it first. It will be difficult for them to acknowledge the entire information with other things being linked to it. Better do it slowly for efficient learning.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ahead of the launch, Libra changed its name on: December 09, 2020, 05:14:29 PM
Libra to Diem rebranding is now facing a lawsuit. Last December 01, Libra announced that they will be changed their name to Diem Association. Their rebranding aims to give a new face to the project after major setbacks following the intense regulatory battle it faced when it was announced last year. But yet again they facing another legal battle and this time with Diem. https://crypto.co/technology/from-libra-to-diem-rebranding-faces-lawsuit/
Before they choose another name for rebranding, they should have looked at this kind of possibilities first. I mean, it's a common issue for brand names so they should have ensured that there would be no problem first. They want to rebrand Libra to give a new face to the project, but with this new issue, it seems that they will still face some issues again before their launch.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 09, 2020, 02:00:09 PM
I didn't even expect my country to be on the list as it's a third world country where the majority can't afford to lose much money in gambling. A list like this would most likely to have countries with great economy, and it shows. The 2020 list on the link provided by op has Macau and the USA leading and I feel like there's nothing to argue with that since they are a big player when it comes to the gambling industry.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lame use cases on: December 09, 2020, 01:19:22 PM
They just probably want to join the hype that's why they start their own project. Though it will be hard for them since there's already a bunch of coins on the market with better use cases and real application than their use cases. We have different perspective and we can't really stop them if they want to start their own project as they believe it will be worth it. It's just that not all project, especially with food blockchain projects gets the same spotlight or become successful.
