Actually, I am ok with Pakistani players not playing in IPL and Indian players not playing in PSL.

But what I want to see is India versus Pakistan international matches on a regular basis which is not happening at all right now. I am much more interested to see these two teams play against each other rather than the players of both countries playing in their own respective League. And obviously, this is not going to happen as long as their political situation stays like this. Not having many teams playing cricket is also a reason for this. The BCCI is basically doing whatever they want right now.

Pakistan and India matches are always interesting as they both hate losing each other. The rivalry between India and Pakistan is far ahead of what we see in Ashes. Ashes is played on regular basis while last time India and Pakistan series was held decade ago. Sunil Gavaskar once said " there is more chance of snow in lahore(hot city of Pakistan)then India Pakistan series "

It could have been a better experience if both IPL and PSL allowed each other countries players but to be realistic, both countries do not need other country's players or support to make them successful. IPL is a successful league without any Pakistani players and similarly, PSL is a great league without the Indian players.  

Pakistan and India both have produced great players both in the past and right now like Shaheen, kohli, Rizwan, Rohit and more. IPL is doing fine without Pakistan players but it will be more entertaining to see Pakistani players playing IPL. BCCI dominance in cricket can be seen from the fact that they never allowed there players to play any league. As long as politicians of both countries don't have a consent, we will continue to miss action cricket of both countries against each other.

The reasons are twisted here, Pakistan players participated in the IPL during the initial tournament and when the Mumbai terror attack happened these sanctions came into place, if the Pakistan government was willing to weed out the terrorist i am sure there wont be any sanctions but they never took the responsibility of the attack when it was evident that the attack was carried out from Pakistan.

To say that the players are not included because they performed well is not the truth, Mumbai attack the aftermath is the reason for not allowing Pakistan players in the IPL and the cricket ties between India and Pakistan became standstill after that.

Well by this quote of Sunil Gavaskar I think we can understand in which situation this India versus Pakistan is in. I really don't think that the players have too much objection to playing against each other.

In my opinion, it's more like the people in power who are ultimately controlled by the government, have a huge problem about this. And they just have to prove that they are better than the other, also don't want to give any benefit or else I think I should say, that watch out that the other party does not get benefited in any way.

These fringe political groups pressure was also one reason why India lost to Pakistan in last T20 WC as there players were under pressure and not sure about the game while Pakistani players focused on the game. I would say Pakistani players are a bit liberal in this matter as they don't have pressure from any group to avoid Indian players.

I do agree that there is no point in discussing this issue of India Pakistan matches or series as it will never happen. In India we have a clown who just keep on digging issues that are of no matter like CAA, farmers law and now hijab law. So he won't allow matches with Pakistan just to spread more hate.

I actually did not know that Ukraine was into cricket. The recent things that are going on in that country are absolutely inhuman.

And we can see how the political situation can affect everything in that country. Unless the situation gets better they have a lot bigger problems to solve in their hand rather than cricket. And even after returning to normal life, the country will have to concentrate on its structural development first. Cricket in Ukraine just went behind a lot of years.

I think a few players are still friends with each other in India and Pakistan but the problem is we have seen the fans of both countries do some stupid things. we all remember when India lost to Bangladesh in the 2007 world cup. People were burning down things in front of the players' houses and verbally abusing them.

So, I think we all can guess how it would be if any player talks about anything good of Pakistan. and I think something same like that could also happen in Pakistan.

Well I am from India and I dont agree with this at all that it is favouring hinduism above democracy. All the muslims are living in the country with 100% freedom and their situations is better than other muslim nations around the world. But it is spread all over that this government in favouring hinduism only.

Agreed. It is possible for India-Pakistan to resolve their issues in the future so that their respective teams can play against each other more often, but I don't see that happening anytime soon as you mentioned.

Fault lies on both sides for various reasons. Both Cricket teams consist of a multitude of talented players and it would be great to see more matches across all formats between them.

Australia tour to Pakistan after 22 years,

Australian captain Pat Cummins says that Mitchell Swepson and Ashton Agar are available for tour to Pakistan despite the fact that they have played very little or no domestic cricket. Last time Pakistan and Australia played a bilateral series was in Oct 2018 and at that Jon Holland and Lyon are main spinners.

Spinners are called in since in subcontinent pitches spinners have upper hand over fast bowlers specially in test cricket.
