I know money does not buy happiness.  In fact it sort of seems like it might challenge it, lol.  But it *DOES* allow one to stop being a slave making someone else money.

money buys convenience and time (as in time to gauge the situation and plan accordingly..) and sometimes health. but happiness is where you find it and mainly a state of mind,. ive been poor and happy. well not poor as in starving to the point of deaths door but poor to the point where i did wonder what the next meal would consist of and when it would happen.. that is the suck im the 1st to admit.

anyway sorry to hear about that. i wont pull the "dont worry youll be fine" bit; thats an insult. but hang in there, we coiners have the advantage, we just need to ride it out a bit more.  doesnt mean its easy in the now though or that it will be guaranteed. just better odds than the nocoiners have.

Bitcoin speculators hit all-time lows as Grayscale says BTC like 2016
Data says hodlers are gaining and speculators are vanishing from Bitcoin, with one commentator arguing that the bull run is “just beginning.”

and my eth to btc auto convert mining at nicehash has picked up from 40 to 80 a day

which means Nicehash demand for older btc has 2x since last Sunday.

CURRENT PROFITABILITY / 24H
0.00728775 BTC
≈ $79.07
UNPAID MINING BALANCE
0.00513042 BTC
0.001 BTC
0.1 BTC
NEXT PAYOUT:
23h 15m 28s

better news is 2 units are turned off at the moment as the $79.07 should be over 100

vs my older posts this week of 40 something
older number below reflect more gpus mining yet are 47 and 53 vs current 79.  If all gpus were mining I would be about 100. this is very similar to the start of the 2016-2017 rallies.

It feels like the calm before a storm, I think we’re going to get a Q4 bullish rally.
It's trying hard to cross $10,500. Good thing is that we are not going under $10k. Even if we go we are bouncing back almost immediately.

We are going to brush past  14000 in under a month.

Quote
https://www.nicehash.com/my/miner/....6oHLGnnrVAf1hC3WV2RBXZ2HNs....
CURRENT PROFITABILITY / 24H
0.00457303 BTC
≈ $47.03

This is my gpu daily earning rate. As long as it is over 40 it means btc is underpriced compared to eth.

Every time I post here for the next 30 days I will drag that info from my nicehash account to this thread.

As long as it is higher then 40 (more complex then that but good enough for now)  it means there is extra demand for BTC from nicehash mining.

six hours later:

CURRENT PROFITABILITY / 24H
0.00516597 BTC
≈ $53.31

so demand is still happening for btc  via eth to btc auto vert

`ssh`, I am doing subliminal mass obedience training when I exhort people to “trust nobody”, “ask nobody’s permission”, “let no one be the eternal dictator of the world”, etc.

Let nobody enslave you.  Nobody is entitled to seize your wealth, your freedom, and your virgin daughter.  No one is a god.

Fear nothing.

No man is immortal.  No one is invincible.  And nobody understands women.

fractional reserve banking is clearly better

I am afraid there are not nearly enough people here realizing the magnitude of this current round of Proudhon posting.  I mean... if you just look at his history of calling tops and bottoms... it's pretty much confirmed.  By science. And all of the sources.  And you all think I am joking.
I don't.

Sorry to be a wet blanket.  Writing a description for this thing for general audiences is bloody hard.  There's nothing to relate it to.

Trying to re-read satoshi writings to remind me to keep calm and hodl.

WO Recap without any bias...
[...]
-Lambie bambie is alive.
[...]
-JJG going off topic - keywords; Dip, Stack, DCA, Buy order, But, If, likely-

- Good to see we still got some good old fashion FUD bimbo hanging around. Maybe she bought some coin now she feeling confident. Smiley

- I often wonder if JiJiGi ... is some iLLuminati bullsh!t cryptic singer of encrypted text in his long tedious messages. And when he actually writes short stuff he actually goes off-topic from his personal agenda of speaking to the masses of his lodge. Smiley Cheesy Cheesy

Seems that you are thinking too much, savetherainforest.

Must suck to be you, no?

Too bad I didn't thought so much in 2009 when I wanted to mine... but kinda kept forgetting or something always kept interrupting me. Cheesy Cheesy

Most people think a government ban is the biggest risk to bitcoin. But with MicroStrategy now having a third of it's market cap in bitcoin, do you really think governments will tank stock markets? Risk of ban will get smaller and smaller when more listed companies follow MSTR.

https://twitter.com/100trillionusd/status/1306119800255639559?s=21

If Apple and Microsoft announce a long term holding position in BTC

Along with Samsung ,AMD and Nvidia.

500k a coin could happen.

Something to dream about.

It's a step in the right direction, now lets not talk about it, the longer BTC manages to fly under the radar the better

Better for whom?  Shocked

For BTC, for the Govs not so much  Grin

Not sure how slowing down adoption and preventing BTC from mooning is better for it? Maybe its better for shitcoins and fiat but not for king BTC...

Widen your thinking outside of narrowness of short term speculations, moons, lambos, and shit coins. Governments will not give up monopolies over their currencies willingly, it can go two ways, the easy way or the hard way. And it's in our best interest for it to go the easy route in the US. The more BTC integrates itself into the financial system, the harder it'll be to fight it as porno/drug/pedo/terrorist money. Now while the world is preoccupied with pandemic/elections/natural disasters let's see that ETF. Patience, time is on our side.

Here you have a link to the Hat Gallery in a larger size, place the cursor over the image and click on it, you will have the gallery in large format.

An exemplary failure of reading comprehension:  Reading a post that condemned the nihilism of those who live only for today, and then calling its author a “nihilist”.

There are some things money can’t buy—such as someone to whom to leave your money.

Anyway, yes:  Good catch on a nym that I have only been leveraging for more or less subtle puns and allusions for about the past three years.  Including in the referenced post, and a bunch of others that I recall making in WO and elsewhere.

nullius illum miseret
* nullius pleases nobody.

It is supposed to be a coded secret message for the Illuminati; I fear now that jbreher has discovered THE TRUTH!  It is all a part of a secret Illuminati/Blockstream Segwit plan to steal Bitcoin from its creator, Dr. Craig Satoshi Wright.  You see, I have been declaring my true intentions all along:

Bitcoinum nullius est:  Bitcoin is nobody’s—“owned by nobody... controlled by nobody”

Damn, I thought that nobody would notice.

...instantiating a de facto dictatorship—not potential dictatorship, actual dictatorship, right now, today!  Nobody notices.

* nullius is nobody.

coinbase pro will now charge fees on outgoing transfers.
additionally, they seem to be hell-bent on "de-fi", listing a whole bunch of itsy-bitsy tokens (like Loopring ??) when much larger (cap-wise) tokens are still unlisted.
oh, well
