It is obvious that the pool have some issues with the rejected/invalid shares. Too much people concerning with the same problem this days.

I have moved 50% of my 2 Ghash to another pool, will move also the other 50% or come back again depending if the problem gets solved.

@slush

Still have this high reject ratio using phoenix/cgminer with your pool. Come on... your are unable to tell the reason? Why do I have to stick with the *slower* poclbm then I'm mining with your pool? With poclbm I'm loosing about 250MH/s. I cannot believe that I'm the only one.

Once again: with the lastes cgminer or phoenix I have tons of rejects. With poclbm not. I get the rejects only with your pool. Deepbit, Arsbit, Eligius, Guild, mtred... all are working. It's NOT a network issue. I guess your pool is in some way not compatible with some optimization of the more recent miner-software.

What is the cause of the reject???

Time to tell my experience with slush and stale

Now guiminer is saying 1902 shares accepted and 7 invalid. That make like 0.03% of stale with slush. An AWESOME thing

You forgot to mention one important thing... the guiminer backend! If I'm mining at slush with poclbm I have the same very low reject ratio. I have only problems with "newer" mining software like phoenix (svn 118) or cgminer 1.5.4. Both are a lot faster than poclbm... for instance: 5870: poclbm 432 MH/s, phoenix 451 MH/s, cgminer ~445MH/s.

Umm, this seems odd to me. The round lasted nearly 2 hours and all I got was 0.01??? In previous rounds of the nearly the same length the reward was 2 to 3 times that much.

you would not ask that question if pool had normal stats, like submited shares column after duration on block history

gr0bi42, I don't know why you have such high stale ratio. There isn't anything what I'm hiding... What phoenix version _exactly_ do you use? I'll try this version on my machines, maybe there is some change in phoenix...

I'm using the latest version from SVN-repository. It's revision 118. With cgminer 1.5.3 or 1.5.4 I have the same problems. Sometimes it works for some time, but at some moment things get worse...

With poclbm I have an estimated reward of ~0.12. The I use cgminer or phoenix the reward is about 0.08,  if the reject ratio is *normal* bad. But sometimes the reject ratio goes up to 80-90% rejects on some of my miners, while others still perform well. It's strange.

I think you should try stable version that is 116 at the moment and see what happens. Try with phatk2 also.

I would like to show info for one of my rigs for the last 24 hours:

Temp    Fan% (rpm)    Load  Rate     Accept/Invalid   Status
0: 74c     82% (3858+)   98%   392 Mhs  7550/110 (1.44%) api2.bitcoin.cz
1: 73.5c   70% (3458+)   99%   394 Mhs  5038/18 (0.36%)  bitcoins.lc
2: 72.5c+  70% (3491+)   99%   393 Mhs  5059/19 (0.37%)  bitcoins.lc

The reject/invalid shares are as usual... 1.44% for slush, 0.37% for bitcoins.lc... ok, nothing new

BUT the total number of submitted shares are about 50% higher in favor of slush. I dont think it had been some network issue or bitcoins.lc downtime but I can be 100% sure of that. Am I the only one ?

So I take it guiminer with poclbm is still the best to use for this pool?

Undecided Today my total reward (unconfirmed + confirmed) actually went down! I thought this was not possible. Slush, did you recalculate round rewards or something?

there was an invalid block, so that might have caused it.

As CyberPhunk said, "unconfirmed" reward dropped a bit because of invalid block.

There's definitely something wrong, and not only the rejections.
Block 141689 just took more than 3 hours, I was looking at it, and made sure everything was fine until it finished.
My "estimated" varied between 0.010 and 0.016 while it was ongoing, but when i checked stats a while after it finished, my reward is 0.

Really?....

Why the frell so many retards spell "ect" as an abbreviation of "Et Cetera"? "ETC", DAMMIT! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Et_cetera

Was it 0 immediately after?  There is about a 20 minute lag time from the end of one block finishing before the processing and the amount shown is correct.  If you are refreshing a lot you will see processing, followed by none, then your award going up and up till about 20-25 minutes total after that block has been found.
