HashFast had many opportunities to fix things, yet they decided to keep digging a deeper and deeper hole.
The lawsuit we saw today is likely just the start and I would not be surprised to see this company become insolvent as customers are forced to take the legal route now and try to salvage what they can before it is too late. I.e. it is not just Batch 1 customers that are f*cked but all batches.

I'm having trouble figuring out who's who in this tangled mess. *And something deleted about gateway*
Gateway, maybe? http://bionicsteve.tumblr.com/ ...etc well.. doubt he is in a rush for HF to deliver any hashing since that will put his rocking 50ghash into a rocking chair "Rocking my Butterfly Labs bitcoin miner cranking at 50+ g/hash."

Now that the lawsuits are starting to come in they decided that a 5% bribe to take their offer would be the next bet?

You also have to promise to disparage them.

It's always interesting to see how hashfast promptly reacts to their customers action by digging a bigger hole for themselves.

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive: Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers

Finally someone doing something about one of these scam companies. How will this affect others wishing to get a refund but don't have the time or resources to take legal action? Will the judge force all refunds in btc should that be the final decision or just the 1 refund of the guy suing?

The chip design is almost complete. We're starting sales now because we're at the point where we the calendar of remaining items is fairly fixed, and we're confident we can deliver.
So confident in your schedule that you'll offer refunds in October, November, December, January 2014? That's not very confident at all! Going back in time... someone knows how to read the tea leaves properly.

Your right (IMO) The wheels have officially fallen off at HashFast. They have openly declared they want their customers to basically take a ~90%~ deduction on their BitCoin Payments. Now they are even reducing the time (arbitrarily) for customers to request a refund. Folks, this is what a company looks like when they are openly bluffing in the hopes that your too stupid to see the pink elephant in the room. They are hella' screwed. Call their bluff and lets see what happens.

You also have to promise to disparage them. Pretty much. HashFast to it's customers: Here is a quarter. Now scram, LOL. (Speculative prose on what that conversation will go like in court) <HashFast: We gave our customers "a settlement bonus" on their refund, they agreed, therefore they are not entitled to their full refund. <JUDGE: How much is this bonus against what the plaintiff requested? <HashFast: 5% extra? <Judge: >_< (Face Palm) <Judge: 0_0 Are you serious? (Edit: In case you don't get it folks, they are looking to [probably] surreptitiously settle your refunds by giving you 5% on your USD refund. Hopefully no one is dumb enough to take their settlement offer and sign on the dotted line. If you do, you screw yourself.

Hi John, Welcome to the boards, we need more players in this game. I look forward to specs on your miners and more information on your business model.
Thanks Btceic! More Specs will be coming out soon. Our business model is fairly simple: we are going to produce and sell the best possible mining gear, with a well oiled supply chain. John

I can't see the image the above user posted, but I'm guessing it's some sort of reference to the sexual preferences and proclivities of HashFast employees. I could be wrong though.
Anyways, back on topic. I made the mistake of assuming that HashFast's mailing address on the original invoice is correct, and now I'm starting to worry it will bounce back. Can anyone confirm whether the 100 Bush Street, Suite 650 is the now most current and accurate mailing address?
I've also e-mailed them my refund request, but something tells me they will simply ignore all refund requests asking for fair compensation. All requests from "customers" looking to bend over for them will surely be answered with prompt excitement.

LOL! -------------- I sure hope they do not go all BFLAVALON style on those asking for legit refunds. I can't imagine if they are serious about developing this business longer term they would make that mistake. Are they not shipping anything yet?

They knew they won't going to ship. They waited to see how clever there consumers going to be, and when they found out. Well let's just say they found the cash from somewhere To fund the attorney.

PFFt you didn't buy chips did you? Did you? Same shell game. Quite a few good people are still basically screwed over from what Avalon pulled with the chip buy we all know that as the truth. BFL AVALON now HF? Man I really can't wait for a company that doesn't pull the BTC switcheroo on people.

As the previous email anticipated, we were not able to meet our intended December 31, 2013 ship date for Batch 1 orders. Our revised ship date is January 28, 2014.
We are working diligently to try to ship before that date.
Yeah, I am sure you are.So. Has anybody re-done the calculations with the new shipping date? What is the estimated total BTC what can be mined by one BJ unit, without the MPP? End what would the MPP add, if it's shipped 1,2,3,4 months after shipping the BJs? I am curious to see what kind of loss would it mean to just accept the shipment. (These calculations could be crucial for those who still have not decided whether or not to cancel their orders, and demand a full refund.)

Congrats @pmorici!! I hope you receive a speedy and just award. I was also on the conference call with Ray Gallow last night and feel that he is a great choice for me. Thank you @fenwick! One point he emphasized was to send in your own version of a refund request asap via fedex (post office not good?) and also email with a return receipt. Then I wake up this morning to find the same updated refund email that was posted by Visesrion with the new 1/9/2013 deadline. hmmm...
