Yes Bitcoin is used by criminals also. Bitcoin is open for everyone,there is no limitation about using Bitcoin.as a result anyone can use it. many criminals uses Bitcoin through giving payment to those who works under them.

If bitcoin is used by criminals for sure bitcoin will be lessen or even banned in that particular country and the image of btc will be bad in the sight of many companies and holders of their money, also btc will be more secure and harder to get or to earn if many people were using btc for illegal purposes and bad intentions.

I think that even the most moral thing in the world can be used for criminal purposes, this does not make bitcoins a fraudulent payment method. Everything if placed in the hands of the wrong person can be used with illegal intent.

Yes, it's like a knife. When used fairly and correctly, then the knife will benefit us, but if it used by people who have bad intent, would be bad too. So is bitcoin. Not everyone who uses bitcoin is a man of goodwill.

But here i want to convey my personal opinion in that matter. I think that internet and bitcoin interrelated. Many terrorists and criminals use internet .so also with bitcoin which used perpetrator However, despite all these issues, do people make concrete efforts to ban the internet? No. Not because removing and banning Bitcoin is difficult, but because the internet offers more positive than negative. For the same reason, we have to be more careful about our mindset for Bitcoin, because much evidence has shown that Bitcoin brings many positive, if not more, effects than the internet. Internet and Bitcoin are just devices that 'bad guys' and 'good people'. Fortunately, the world is filled with more people in the 'good people' category.

Let's look back, where .. in the past, payment transactions for terrorists and hackers have been going on with conventional money and bank transfers before bitcoin exists. Then, after bitcoin exists, the criminals use it as a medium for transactions. Then, many parties are making negative image about bitcoin. Come on !!!!!! I think, it's not worth it, it's not fair. Bitcoin is just a tool, bitcoin is just a medium that made the transaction tool.

Yes.BUT not only bitcoin ,fiat currencies like USD,EURO also use by criminals.Even Gold also use by them.that is not a fault of bitcoin.it is a fault of people who use it.as a example some people use knife to kill another one.But some use knife to just cut fruits.so it is stupid thing to ban knife from the world.just like that it is not the fault of bitcoin.bitcoin is the 1st digital currency in the world.Blockchain technology is a most advanced technology still in infant age.so one day people will find a way to track those who use bitcoin for illegal things.until then we all must be patient without blaming to bitcoin.

This guys says it all. Bitcoin and internet are just tools just like a knife is. Is a blade evil? No, but only if the wielder does. And unfortunately, we can't filter who are the only people that can use bitcoin because that is its purpose. The only thing we can do is to encourage everyone to be fair and use bitcoin properly. Tell every other bitcoiner to follow the laws mandated by their government so we wouldn't have issues with them. If you want to stop criminality in any aspect of the society, start with yourself and to the ones closest to you.

Yeah you're right, the problem is not the bitcoin itself, the problem is they see and use bitcoin as a tool to create those crime, scams and other illegal activities. But unlike the internet which start to have a positive side and lately being used in illegal acts, bitcoin on the other hand, become famous due to technological advancement and utilization in illegal works then good points just follow. I read news that hackers uses bitcoin as a payment to give back a hacked data in hospitals, movie industries and the like.

bitcoin being a currency, just like USD and any other currencies/fiat, criminals can also use bitcoin in many illegal ways. tho bitcoin is more popular to "rich" criminals, because it offers anonymity, it makes the transaction hard to trace.

if we ask different question with same contest : is money used by criminals ? true the answer would be yes because it is simply a payment gateway which is more secure than other type of payments so crimes will not stop if money \bitcoin ended . they gonna find new way .

There is no clear evidence of the use of Bitcoin by criminals and terrorists, and even if we find a few class is bad deal with Bitcoin because of the fact that the Bitcoin is not central and can not be followed by the government does not harm the Bitcoin absolutely no currency as there are those who use the good and there are those who use the evil but The media are interested in showing the bad side of anything useful in society so that people alienate it, but if we look at its positive side will find it the future currency and a symbol of technology and progress.

I read many articles they told, maybe it's true. Bitcoin are more secure and easy to payment. It's virtual money so they can use it for bad things but people are using bitcoin for good purpose now a day and government can't do any thing  with bitcoin. People have faith on it . Most good side is it's easy for donations.people use it for invest and business so it's not for crime.
