Reminder: myopenid.com shuts down february 1. Switch to a new OpenID provider if you use them with Bitminter. You can add a new OpenID identity under "my account" -> "logins" in the website menu.
thanks for reminder I now have a second login.

I'm seeing rumblings about huge diff jumps coming up as soon as the next one. Anyone have any insight on that? Is it just projection since a lot of heavy equipment is expected to start shipping?

Another Chili update for the good Dr -
Something I noticed is that when I start BitMinter the Chilis are detected but the first time I try to start them and they fail the temp reading shows and just 0C. After I try to start them and they fail the reading changes to 0.0C and then I can start them and they work. I'm not sure if this helps at all but it was another observation I figured I'd pass along.

I do not have a chilli but some are using hairdriers to bring up the temp of fets and asics during "Init" 45c or so to start the chips. Sometimes init does not get them up to temp. Other thing is communications, if cores run out of work they will after a time be shutdown, (to cool) so make sure your comm is good, cable or better low latency to the servers.

The hairdryer thing is an issue that has shown up on boards produced by someone we licensed the design to. The Chilis that we build do not show the same issue and don't need to be warmed up with a hair dryer.

yup, looks like people haven't been feeding their miners enough fiber again. We have another blockage... And just when I get my antminers working...mostly... and sextuple my hashing power...

LOL. I just setup my Ice Fury's tonight too, now I can finally get rid of these 335MH/s USB miners, only if Bitminter was working, I mean for real!

If so what software did you end up using ? I got the A1 port of cgminer, was hoping to be able to just let the Java miner run it, 1 person said it worked @1.6gh I will just add another asic to get to 2gh

I'm using cgminer for the ants. Doc's made some noises about adding support for the bitminter client, but he's pretty busy it sounds like.

bfgminer (the current source, no binary yet I think) works much better for me. And it works together with the old usb block eruptors, too.

Any update on the site? Have we hit a stale block? Payouts have stopped coming since yesterday morning, I am almost to the 24 hour mark and have only received 2 payments, less than what I am supposed to make every 24 hours at my hashing.
Thanks.

We have not hit a block in over a day. No blocks no payouts. The 2days before hand though, you should of made double your expected payments. Swings and roundabouts
