Just deposited 6K eur and withdrew 20 btc from kraken.

Sepa payment was 1 day and btc payout took like 5 mins. Exchange rate eur/btc was even better than bitstamp or btc-e, even when I count it as usd/btc and divide it with forex exchange.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Exactly. Never a problem for me neither. Fast SEPA deposits, fast BTC withdrawals, nice price. Just perfect for my needs.

I am talking about SEPA deposit. I am pure buyer. 2 days for SEPA payout is excellent as well.

It is sad that their USD market is dead. It is so strange for US company.

I didn't have the same chance  Sad, my SEPA deposit has been canceled by my Bank, after 10 days since I made the deposit.
Reason : The IBAN is reported as fraudulent
Note that I used the following Kraken IBAN : DE31 7002 2200 0071 7885 12

Just switch banks. It's clearly not the bank for you. Doesn't matter how 'popular' it is Wink

And tell them why you did it.

Due to an update to the site, we had to take all payment gateways offline for a brief period of time. The gateways are all back online now, so your payments should be going through. Sorry for the brief delay!

Dear Kraken, ripple withdraw again hold on sending, since your wallets empty. Do you for several mouth can't change your withdraw system so coins from users wallet would automatically move on hot wallet to use for withdraw? Or problem deeply like lacking of coins? Weekends tomorrow and you will again hold millions ripples till monday?

The transaction should be failed now and the funds credited back to your account. The ripple gateway is being rebuilt and should be finished soon (hopefully within a week or so). We use more than one hot wallet and the issue has to do with the system not alway switching to a new wallet correctly. Sorry for the problems you've been having - ripple payments should be much more reliable when the new gateway is enabled.

Use one hot wallet..? Make sure it is always filled..? Why that problem staying for mounths? Right now it is a lotery or you will able withdraw coins or they will hold for days :| It's a mining field trading ripple here.. "special" conditions for deposites, 10th checks before try withdraw big amount... I spent like half hour yesterday trying to make desition can i buy big amount of coins for withdraw them or not. System switched my test withdraws to two hot wallets, both was empty :|

Understand me right.. it is just nightmare, worse only cryptsy them ripple wallet just never works, but at least i know i shouldn't even try to touch ripples there, on kraken i should 100 times check before.

has anyone utilised the GBP withdraw method yet?
any feedback please? I note the GBP/XBT is not active.. is this working OK or is it yet to be fully implemented in the site?

should I just stick with EUR?

Hi raskul, GBP/XBT is fully implemented and working ok, there is just not a lot of volume right now. For withdraw methods, there is the possibility of SEPA withdrawals or SWIFT withdrawals, both operated by PayCash (The fee right now is 0.19% with a £ 10 minimum).
