i just received my 5th one and i cant log on to it. 192.168.1.99 is the ip, but i ipscan it and nothing comes up. my other miners are 2.xxx, is the 1.99 the problem?

i will look for 5 ohm resistor 10 watt for 5 volt dummy load.
Just use a USB light or something. |

Is your subnet .1 or .2? im not sure what you mean but IP Address: 192.168.2.254 Subnet: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway: 192.168.2.1 this is what i have in antminer ip 192.168.1.99 all my other ants are 192.168.2.xxx |

how did you set up wifi without an antenna? Actually I get pretty decent signal without antennas. They aren't necessary in most situations. |

It would be nice if i can use wifi so it's more mobile. thanks for your help. |

Set a laptop/PC/tablet on 192.168.1.188 and configure the new Ant 192.168.1.99 and change the address to whatever you have reserved for it on the 192.168.2.x network. Don't forget the IP default gateway is 192.168.2.1 and DNS 8.8.8.8. Subnet mask should still be the same on both subnets 255.255.255.0, so no change there. |

That is the only drawback at the moment when using wifi. From what I understand you can only access that through a wired connection. I'm not using my wifi, so I don't have it showing up on my network configuration file. If you have time and you connect via ethernet and can ssh to you miner: issue the following commands (with enter keys between the 2 commands for visible separation) ssh root@your.miner.ip.address.wan

cat /etc/config/firewall
Depending on how brave you are; you may be able look at the last portion of that /etc/config/firewall and see the rules are allowed for interface name wan for 22 (ssh), 80 (web/http), and 4028 (cgminer api, i think). I would do the additions on the /etc/firewall.user so as not to mess with system files as that seems to be the location for adding firewall rules for "users". Use the interface name for the wifi you see on /etc/config/network Personally; I wouldn't be able to live without connecting to both of my miners everwhere. I'm having dinner with the wife and I look at the Ants. We're here at yogurtland and I'm ssh'ed to one Ant and web-monitoring both Ants  |

Hi, I am running into a problem that I haven't been able to figure out. The miner is not starting to mine and I am not sure of the problem. Originally, I got the

problem but fixed it by setting the DNS Server to 8.8.8.8 and setting the IP addresses. Now all the system log is saying is:
