Just want to thank everyone who has purchased silver from me in exchange for earthcoins. I am thrilled to be accumulating earthcoin at current exchange rates, while allowing miners to diversify their holdings of EAC.

I have been selling silver bullion at 70-80% of current market value in EAC, and not surprisingly I have nearly sold out of all my inventory in the first week. (Thanks to Earthazaar.com)

I feel that offering miners a real and instant ability to hedge their currency risk with silver bullion is a concept lost on the masses of speculators chasing auroracoin for a fast buck. Easy come, easy go. But Earthcoin is here to stay. What we are doing here as a community will provide bountiful rewards in due time. Wealth creation is a long term process and takes a solid foundation and steady leadership as well as community belief to succeed.

I like to think I will accumulate a stake that will rival the premine or any single holders stake in due time. If necessary I will elect myself president of earthcoin and spearhead/bounty initiatives that will create long term value for all earthcoin shareholders.

I have already given away close to 1 million earthcoins myself to new people to spur adoption and acknowledgement of the greatness that earthcoin represents. We need everyone to understand why they can believe in this coin. Believe in doing right by your fellow man. Believe in free markets and true capitalism without hindrance and unjust taxation. Believe in 10 second transaction times. Believe in the future. I see no logical reason why we cannot surpass Bitcoin in 2-3 years time frame.

Hats off to you buddy and I have been waiting for that fella to come around that rivals the initial float!  Just as we see having 100 million coins, its value can only be increased by strategically giving 50 million away towards projects such that remaining 50 are now worth 150 in future terms.  Sooner or later I knew there would be people that have amassed this wealth and I was praying they would be pro-active.

With out "the president" of earth coin and someone with that vision it would be very hard to grow this coins base.  I look forward to the vote

For your first order I would waive the shipping cost for you to Scandinavia if you would order 4 or more items from me on Earthazaar. It will likely take 3-4 weeks to arrive however from previous experience. I am having trouble listing silver fast enough before it all sells out! EAC never reached 4400 sats? Why will this coin be dead? If i check correctly then there are many people using Earth coin, hash rate is still pretty ok, remember DOGE was trading at 25 sats too and was DOGE dead? Nope, it can happen with EAC too, when stupid coins like batcoin suddenly had a marketcap of $800K then i'm sure that EAC can do that too..

I guess I can assume that the huge price drop was due to a massive premine dump by one of the developer from what I've been reading on the forum and the Q&A.  Just goes to show you, premines are dangerous in the wrong hands.  Having said that, the rest of the developers seem straight forward.  I would have to believe that the community can move forward without another sudden dump.  I don't think the coin can survive another massive dump from any big holders.  It can definitely go down further.  It also can go up.  At this point, I'm inclined to believe that it will rise slowly. As long as EAC continue to improve on its real life usefulness (besides be a speculation tool), I think things will get better.

Typical all this happens when I'm away.  Who is it that runs the earthcoin talk forum?  I signed up to it ages ago and I couldnt log in because of it said i needed to activate my account but i didnt recieve any activation email so i just left it.  Now i just tried a password reset and recieved the email for that, reset my password and again tried to log in, and again it says i need to activate.. so how do i get a new activation email sent to me?

Even if it doesn't seem profitable this time, we should keep mining on 2x. Keep every coin we can out of the hands of switching pools, who tend to be a majority of the increased difficulty. Let's keep those coins with whom they belong.
