It's going to be bad luck all around for most pools.  I got some info I have to follow up on that a couple of private farms just brought large multi petihash farms online in the last couple weeks.
If I get this verified I will post about it.

and no blocks in the last 5 shifts whats going on !!!!!!!!!!!

I have had bad luck before but this is very strange

The current network hash rate is about 1000 times what you've got and the difficulty is now ridiculous, so not having any blocks with 2TH is nothing to cry about.  You could be like me and mine for shares because you couldn't afford a 2Th unit and never in your entire mining career hit a block.  I figure anything is better than nothing and at this point the only point to mining is the fun of it.  There will be no way to make a profit unless you're a pool operator, like Eleutheria,  or you're selling mining equipment.  Those are THE only two ways to break even or make profit within the mining aspect of bitcoin.  If you want to make bitcoin, make something that people are willing to pay bitcoin for and sell that shit.

I'm going to be forced to switch to Eligius because my reward is so little these days. Not like I wanna go but no choice these days. And I read all over "Much more to come - please be patient". Yea, been a year bud. How much more patient?
I know, I know, you'll all hate to see me go.

Your definition of luck and my definition seem to differ.

If I do my math right, BTCG should get 800 BTC a day ... or 32 blocks.  Variance, or luck, is what causes that to differ.  Sometimes it's higher, sometimes it's lower.  The presence of other pools or farms isn't going to affect luck, but it will affect difficulty when that time rolls around again.

Did you post in the right pool forum?

Difficulty keeps skyrocketing.  You aren't going to do better at Eligius.  In fact, you'll probably do worse because they don't do NMC merged mining (as far as I can tell it's at your hash level, instead of pool hash), and they don't pay for stales.

I will say switching to the biggest pools is also what makes it worse.
We have had great luck overall at BTCG and it will come back as we grow and get more gh/s added to the pool as well.
With the NameCoin addition at BTCG it makes it still pay well for when we have bad luck.

Eligius does namecoin too.  It doesn't show in your stats though.

Luck is luck. Switch if you want but consider last 24hr stats.

I guestimated eligius hashrate since the stats are down, but last I checked it was close to or higher than btcguild. So for the last 24hr i'd say btcguild is the best.
