You're taking this well, eestimees. it sucks that these creeps did this to you, but the brazenness of their attitude is extra disgusting.
Good luck cleaning it up.
I've been on IT industry 20y or so, I knew one day something like this would happen.. it's only matter of time...

You should definitely start changing your passwords though, because the wallet changes were confirmed via email, meaning the person has/had access to your email. The wallet was not locked.
I'm interested to know why BTC Guild doesn't have the option for 2-factor authentication, most other pools do (and yes, my wallet is locked!).

I'm interested to know why BTC Guild doesn't have the option for 2-factor authentication, most other pools do (and yes, my wallet is locked!). Mostly because 2FA is such a major pain in the ass when it comes to support. People lose their phones. A lot. They also brick them a lot in the Bitcoin community. BTC Guild *does* have 2FA in the form of email confirmation for account changes if you have an email set. You can also add 2FA to some email services, adding yet another layer of security on top of the general confirmation. It's not as full proof as a OTP style authenticator, but there's also a huge number of sites with 2FA that will actually remove it with enough bitching at support. BTC Guild offers a much stronger protection: Wallet locking. Lock the wallet and your account is secure unless somebody actually obtains your wallet's private keys. If you lose your wallet's keys, you have bigger problems than losing the ability to use your BTC Guild account. If you lose your phone, you only lose the current balance in your account due to lack of 2FA (assuming no exceptions are ever made). If you lose your private keys, you've lost whatever is in your account plus whatever was withdrawn but not spent.

Not a big update, but now that the 'Payments' page which showed PPS Earnings History + Withdrawals is simply the 'Withdrawals' page, NMC withdrawals are now shown on the page instead of requiring you to download the CSV export to get that transaction history/TXID list.
This information is only shown if you have NMC display enabled in the Settings page.

The minimum difficulty setting has no bearing on your profit. Only bandwidth. The higher the difficulty the lower the bandwidth consumption. BTC Guild will adjust your workers difficulty to where it should be so you could set your minimum difficulty to what BTC Guild adjusts it to.

Difficulty is defined per connection. So if you have 3 machines all using one single instance of cgminer/bfgminer, you should use the total speed for your minimum difficulty selection. If each one has it's own miner software instance, use the per miner speed for selecting difficulty.
As posted above though, the pool will change your difficulty regardless if it's not set correctly (though the pool will not put it lower than your minimum). It's mostly needed for specific hardware that has problems with low difficulty mining, or requires specific difficulty settings from the pool.

The share difficulty won't affect your "expected" profit, but a lower share difficulty will make your profit less volatile (lower variance).

Mining on a team, like say team America, provides no benefit or advantage. It is there merely as a friendly way to group up with friends or other persons to compare hash rate etc

I have always found scrolling the stats page (particularly the luck graph) slow of mobile and desktop safari. It would appear the graph now only shows 1 month of luck, and the red line 2 months of luck.
It does now scroll much faster.

Yes, that was a stealth change. The average line is still showing 3 months, but the detail is only the last month. The next alteration is going to be making the graph still show 3 months of luck, but instead of a spot for each individual shift, it will merge 3 shifts for each data point, that way you still get the same amount of information (3 months), but fewer datapoints slowing down mobile and lower end desktop/browser javascript implementations.

Just now 6 of 8 Jupiters I have at guild have switched to their backup pool ....
Edit : after about 20 mins all Jupiters are back on guild. 2 remained on guild throughout. All are hosted in the same EU datacentre.
