Anyway here are the weigh in results. Drakkar Klose initially didn't make weight and was given an hour. He did eventually but he looked terribad. He was dehydrated and shaking on the scale. Kinda reminded me of Aspen Ladd. I won't be including him in my parlays. I'll have to watch it myself, but I've already got him included on my accumulator, which has had a few legs won from the football. So, I might have to cash out earlier than expected. I don't usually take weigh ins into consideration, but shaking doesn't sound good. Also, how often do they usually give the fighter time to drop weight? Is it only if they're half pound off or something? These are my favourites for tonight: Vicente Luque Andre Fialho Mayra Bueno Silva Pat Sabatini (146) Devin Clark Drakkar Klose (156) Chris Barnett Obviously, Klose missing weight, and apparently shaking doesn't fill me with confidence, but he's still on there at the moment. I'll review the tape soon. Devin Clark I think could potentially get a decision win if Knight tires out, since I believe this is his first fight at heavyweight?

^ Yeah Chiesa has a tendency to expose his neck but I don't think there was anything he could do there. Luque is a legit black belt in BJJ and it def showed. So Muhammad should be a little extra careful if he thinks he can do Luque like he did Thompson. Anyway here are the weigh in results. Drakkar Klose initially didn't make weight and was given an hour. He did eventually but he looked terribad. He was dehydrated and shaking on the scale. Kinda reminded me of Aspen Ladd. I won't be including him in my parlays. Vicente Luque (171) vs Belal Muhammad (170.5) Caio Borralho (186) vs Gadzhi Omargadzhiev (186) Miguel Baeza (171) vs Andre Fialho (171) Mayra Bueno Silva (136) vs Wu Yanan (136) TJ Laramie (145.5) vs Pat Sabatini (146) Mounir Lazzez (171) vs Ange Loosa (171) Devin Clark (223) vs William Knight (251) Pannie Kianzad (136) vs Lina Lansberg (135.5) Brandon Jenkins (155.5) vs Drakkar Klose (156) Rafa Garcia (155) vs Jesse Ronson (155.5) Chris Barnett (263.5) vs Martin Buday (264.5) Jordan Leavitt (155.5) vs Trey Ogden (156) Sam Hughes (115.5) vs Istela Nunes (114) Heili Alateng (135.5) vs Kevin Croom (136) Weigh inshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXpQHkAM8HgFace offshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X023OQaslqoEdit: Here's my event's 'lottery tickets'. Kianzad - Lazzez - Sabatini at 2.16 Add: Luque - Nunes - Clark at 7.63 Add: Alateng - Bueno Silva - Omargahdziev at 24.32 Add: Buday - Garcia at 65.69 Add: Fialho - Leavitt at 354.45 ^ Well too bad for Michael Chiesa he really doesn't know what he got in too, that reversal was outstanding and I am sure impressed about what happened in the fight at first I really thought that Chiesa was winning on the ground but a quick reversal sure was needed to turn the tables, and I think that Vicente Luque is good on standing as well, he is pressuring Chiesa so much that result for Chiesa to get the fight on the ground, but Vicente Luque is one crafty fighter that reverses their situation, definitely Belal Muhammad will have a hard time with Luque, as he's having a blast of a fight with Thompson already. Great the prelim matches started and I haven't posted my picks yet, I didn't realize that I fell asleep but here is what I think may happen in the Main event Vicente Luque VS Belal MuhammadAt first, I am positive about Belal Muhammad but he was struggling with Stephen Thompson on the ground, but Vicente Luque's ground reversal win over Michael Chiesa was a superb fight to see, and that D'Arce choke was really a need for Muhammad to take care with because he did it to Tyron Woodley and now with Thompson, and I think it is a very wrong move to take the fight on the ground with Luque, and even his standing is quite notable aswell because it's pressuring Chiesa so much that decided to take the fight on the ground, which is a wrong move for Chiesa, so in my opinion, this could be a win for Vicente Luque, right now stake odds are 1.55 for Luque and 2.48 for Muhammad. Miguel Baeza VS Andre FialhoMiguel Baeza could finish this fight with standing while Andre Fialho is a combination puncher and quite a boxer in my opinion but judging by the strength I think Fialho has more strength with his punching given his great with boxing, but I am also questioning Miguel Baeza's chin and durability, right now stake odds are 1.54 for Baeza while 2.49 for Fialho, making Baeza the favorite to win, but I am going against the favorite because I think Andre Fialho does have some take down aswell, so a well rounded fighter over Baeza.

I missed the event completely, was planning to watch the main event even though not planning to watch the entire card because none of the fighters were known to me. Belal Muhammad dominated the rematch and i was expecting this to an extend. Here is the results source: Wiki

This was a long-winded one. A ton of decisions. Well, I'd say Muhamad was not impressed by Luqes BJJ accolades as there were takedowns A plenty. So Belal is now in an interesting situation. However, I would like to see a rematch with Edwards before the Colby callout materializes. I am not sure if back-to-back rematches are good for his career though. I mean, this division is a nightmare for matchmaking, but no sleeping on Muhamad.

I ended up cashing out, because I was worried about how the judges might score that Silva fight. I thought she won personally, and was the only one to threaten on the feet, as well as on the mat. However, you never really know with the judges do you. Wu did better than expected, but her great movement didn't really amount to anything except pretty much shadow boxing. If she can get in, and out she might actually do pretty well in the division. However, at the moment she's going to lose a lot just because most of her volume isn't really connecting the majority of the time.
I missed the main event, fell asleep. I felt like that card was moving quiet slowly towards the end. Not the best night of fights, and I'm starting to think that an illegal strike should always be a point deducted even if it was accidental. Plus, I don't think we should be stopping the fight, and basically rewarding the fighter who did the illegal strike. Not a fan of scoring fights up to that point, I know it prevents fighters milking it, but I don't know. Not a fan.

Here is the result of the UFC Fight Night: Luque VS Muhammad
Vicente Luque VS Belal Muhammad - LOST
I really think that Luque is more aggressive and always pressuring Muhammad, now Belal Muhammad is doing differently from what he is doing in this match what he is not doing in their 1st match, Muhammad did it differently, evading then when Luque catch up he will throw kicks or punches, pretty much Belal Muhammad didn't try to take advantage over on the ground because he sure knows very well what Vicente Luque can do, so he Belal Muhammad is keeping his pace safely and giving strikes when they are on the ground and Muhammad is controlling the fight, I really didn't expect that to happen I really though that Luque has got this, but then again it is a total loss, but still rewatching the fight if he judges count it properly, and checking out if I missed something.
Miguel Baeza VS Andre Fialho - WIN
Kudos to Miguel Baeza actually he can also win this if Fialho didn't bust Baeza's nose but like I have said Andre Fialho definitely has that power from his striking, and Baeza's rapid punch from Fialho, was really not enough Fialho has the durability to withstand those but the fight has already finished when Miguel Baeza's nose was bleeding we can see that Baeza can not breathe anymore, and always keeps a check on his nose, so that is the opportunity for Andre Fialho to give that winning punches, to Baeza, what an incredible fight, and kudos to both fighters.

I can't figure out if Luque has bad TD defense or if Muhammad has excellent timing on his TD's... I think it's more like the former imho and it cost him... A lot. It sucks cos I placed him up at the second tier of my lottery ticket. Kianzad - Lazzez - Sabatini at 2.16 Add: Luque - Nunes - Clark at 7.63 Add: Alateng - Bueno Silva - Omargahdziev at 24.32 Add: Buday - Garcia at 65.69 - Add: Fialho - Leavitt at 354.45 Not that it mattered, Nunes lost too. The point deduction cost her. But at least I broke even by winning the top ticket... On to the next event.

As soon as I see his match of Luque with Thompson, I admit I sure am excited on this match and thinking Luque will surely drag Muhammad into submission but in my opinion and my observation on the fight, Belal Muhammad is really good in evading and letting Luque follow him then he would land a kick or punches, which is I think Belal Muhammad have learned something from their previous fight he is not aggressive anymore; he is letting Luque thinks he is pressuring him. I admit Belal Muhammad can be technical with his moves and by that take-down that was really fast, where Belal is charging very quickly in giving a takedown. Vicente Luque is not really ready for it, so I think Luque really doesn't have bad takedown defense it's just that he is not ready for that takedown Belal was so fast in charging at Luque, but I don't really regret the outcome. even though I lost, it is just surprising in my opinion, and I still manage to get my lost with the other fights. I was Impressed with Fialho he surely grab the opportunity in hitting Baeza multiple times on, and because of the strength of his strikes he makes Miguel Baesa nose bleeds, that makes Baeza irritable to Breath.

It is funny how he was at the UFC desk just a month ago giving advice on how the matches were going for these UFC bouts. I've seen him fight before but it seemed he was not wanting to fight up until this match with Luque came along. He looked to be quite comfortable just giving his technical analyst of the fights and not actually doing the fighting. But glad he won as I had him on most if not all of my bets for the UFC this past weekend.

It sucks cos I placed him up at the second tier of my lottery ticket. It's really hard to tell. I would say that on the level Luque is, regarding grappling, his TD defense should be at least decent. Maybe just a combo of the two that didn't work for Luque, OR, he was so sure of himself if it comes to a grappling exchange, that he let those TDs happen, thinking he would take advantage of being on his back. It's not the usual gameplay, as it's a much riskier situation that the top position, but I can see someone like Ortega using this tactic as he is really confident off his back. Terrible take down defense paired with a decent ability to take down by Belal. I can't say I'm overly surprised, but I'm not convinced that Belal will challenge for anything meaningful. I find him quite one dimensional, and think he gets taken out by the big boys. I haven't got anything against him he just doesn't come across as a personality, and his fighting doesn't do enough to make me a fan of him. Maybe, Luque just had a off day, but he made quite a few mistakes leading to the take downs which were easily avoided. I do think this was a prime example of being cautious of the take down, therefore not letting his hands go, and in evidently being taken down, and grind out to a decision loss.

Well, I don't really think Belal Muhammad could go even further, than Vicente Luque, but I had to admit, Vicente Luque is not himself that day, his take down defense is off, and I don't really think much of Muhammad could go even further that time, I could see him as an average fighter, but we can not underestimate that average fighter he could surely done something if he tries, but further on the top 4 on the Welterweight Division he can not pass from that point,
And just in, Dana White just announce a big fight this summer on the Heavyweight division, and this is between Stipe Miocic VS Jon Jones, This is quite a move for the UFC because right now Francis Ngannou has a problem with the Contract and could leave the title, or this is to pressure Ngannou about his contract, but in my opinion, I don't like how Jon Jones could anytime can get the Heavyweight champion without making it up the ladder, I want a Cyril Gane VS Stipe Miocic fight then with the Jon Jones fight, but that is how the UFC wants to be and I think a lot of fans want a fight between this two the only problem is Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic confirmation about this.

Many people underestimated Belal Muhammad in main event against Vicente Luque, but I think he proved that he is a very good fighter. I checked rankings on UFC website now and Belal Muhammad is on 6th position in welterweight division dropped one position, so I am not sure if it was updated or not. Fantastic jump for Khamzat Chimaev who is now third place in same division, and I think one of this guys will challenge champion Kamaru Usman next.

I think Dana White already made a promise to Leon Edwards, giving him a shot at Kamaru's belt. UFC can make Covington vs Chimaev. Chimaev is already trolling Colby in his posts. Very intriguing fight. Khamzat is very strong but I don't think he is better than Colby in the grounds. Belal is not that far from a championship fight. Maybe 2 to 3 straight wins and he will have it. Not that easy though.

They have already met in 2015, Edwards is on a good winning streak, giving him Usman next would be fair. I think Chimaev should fight (smesh!) someone else before having a title fight. Lets not forget that he was on top11 recently, took a good beating from Burns but one via decision. This was first serious test of Chimaev skills. Giving him champion next looks way to quick to me.

Belal Muhammad wants a title shot one day. So he would only take on opponents who would take him a step nearer to that goal if he gets the W. Luque was one of those fighters. I think he'll be given one more match up vs a top 5 guy then a title shot if he wins... Leon Edwards is scheduled to fight Usman, Covington is up in the air as he won vs Masvidal but also lost to Usman twice, so maybe Covington? Then again Chimaev is also in the mix so it's prolly him too. Anyway, who you guys got at first glance on the next event's roster?

I wonder why the UFC even has a matchmaking division in their company, and why they pay them. Fire them all and let Dana just move the chess pieces around however he wants XD His comments just kill me and all of the anticipations that comes from trying to figure out who could it be... But I am generally fed up with Dana's comments and his personality so maybe that just rubbed me the wrong way more than it should. As for Belals title shots, maybe 3 fights to the title fight would be too much, but it really depends who Usman fights next.

Well, count me as one of the person who underestimated Muhammad, but I think he is not ready to face the rank 4 fighters in the Welterweight division I really think a rematch with Stephen Thompson could be a proper way for him if he didn't struggle with Thompson or if he can show us that he has a new move that is hiding up his sleeves then I think he could try the upper fighters on the division. -snip-

I really think that Leon Edwards will surely get that fight but I don't think his prepare for Usman, but I'd like to see that fight and with the Khamzat Chimaev VS Colby Covington, I don't want to sound bias for Chimaev but I really think Covington will not stand a chance against Chimaev especially in the ground, Khamzat Chimaev is pretty much stronger on ground fights and Colby Covington might end up like Jing Liang when Chimaev totally pulverize Jing Liang with his power, that is why he withstands a brawl with Gilbert Burns, Belal Muhammad wants a title shot one day. So he would only take on opponents who would take him a step nearer to that goal if he gets the W. Luque was one of those fighters. I really don't know about Muhammad but I guess he's going to surely take up 1 of the top 5 in the Welterweight division, and I really think Colby Covington is the one I really like him to face because I really believe that Belal Muhammad isn't fit to face the strength of Burns or Chimaev, and likely the style of Usman, the 1 I could think of that's fits the bill for Muhammad can be Covington only, of course, after the Covington VS Chimaev fight, that is,

There is lot of talking that Jon Jones is finally coming back to fighting in octagon with man, not fighting girls and woman in his personal life anymore. His opponent should be Stipe Miocic if everything goes well, and I am excited to see if he can really compete in heavyweight division. I am not sure in what shape Miocic is now and he needs to step up if he wants to come back after that nasty defeat from N'Gannou.
