Excited for the upcoming WTC final between India and Australia which will start in a week from now. I feel that Australia has a small edge over India since they usually perform really well in major tournament finals.

Am expecting Kohli to be the gamechanger for India in this adrenaline fuelled final. Hyped!

Bangladesh A team will lose badly against West Indies. Bangladesh lost their first wicket by 25 runs. And the Bangladesh team lost three wickets to collect only 66 runs. And now Bangladesh's collection is only 70 runs. Bangladesh are still trailing by 375 runs. Now if the batsmen of Bangladesh are not able to build a big partnership then the Bangladesh team will not be able to collect even 250 runs. Yasir Ali and Saif Hassan are batting now. If this pair does not play well, I will say Bangladesh will lose all wickets before 250.

The Bangladesh A team is batting irresponsibly against the West Indies A team. Because if Bangladesh is 250 or 300 runs behind the West Indies in the first innings, Bangladesh may be invited to bat again by the West Indies A team. In that case, the chances of Bangladesh losing by innings are very high. I had a bit of faith in the front row batsmen but the way they got out now I don't have a bit of faith in these batsmen who will see Bangladesh all out against West Indies at any moment. Because tomorrow when Bangladesh will start batting in a new way and West Indies will start bowling with a new ball, it will be very difficult for the Bangladeshi batsmen to face the new ball.

Even though this is the Bangladesh A team a lot of players in this team have already played in the national team of Bangladesh. So I do not understand how Bangladesh can perform so badly! Maybe the Bangladesh team is not taking this seriously because this is an unofficial test match. But that is certainly not an excuse which should be given by the players.

Soon after the IPL the WTC final match is really interesting. As said Australia team used to do miracles in final matches. The team that perform moderate used to give tremendous performance at the finals. More teams were in the race to reach the WTC final. Sri Lanka and New Zealand have more chances and finally it was between India and Australia. Lets see what this teams do.

In most of the away from home matches Virat Kohli is the only player to have consistency in performance. So, there is no doubt, he'll have his contribution. Anyhow in the second day we'll get to know whether the match gets the result or ends in a draw.

Even though this is the Bangladesh A team a lot of players in this team have already played in the national team of Bangladesh. So I do not understand how Bangladesh can perform so badly! Is this even surprising? Against weak opposition such as Ireland and Zimbabwe, the Bangladeshi players perform exceptionally. But in this case the West Indies squad contains some quality players like Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Joshua Da Silva and Kevin Sinclair. And also remember that Bangladesh has fielded a relatively inexperienced squad. The conclusion is that Bangladesh doesn't have enough depth in their player pool to remain competent against strong opposition, if their main players like Shakib, Litton and Mustafizur are unavailable.

The conclusion is that Bangladesh doesn't have enough depth in their player pool to remain competent against strong opposition, if their main players like Shakib, Litton and Mustafizur are unavailable.   

If Shakib Al Hasan, Liton Das, and Mushfiqur Rahim are not present in the Bangladesh squad, then Bangladesh loses almost half of its main strength. However, if these three batsmen are not in the team, the balance of the team is lost due to the lack of experienced batsmen. The new additions to the Bangladesh squad do not have much Test playing experience, but if the squad is announced with experienced batsmen, the inexperienced batsmen and bowlers get a chance to perform well.

I am looking forward to watching this test match. The performance of the Ireland team in their last few matches is very commendable. Although their bowlers have not performed well, the team has some excellent batsmen. And the team is not dependent on the performance of any particular batsman.
I don't think Ireland will win the match against England or the match will be a draw. England's squad is much stronger and more experienced than Ireland's. I would say if Ireland's bowlers can bowl well then the match will be very competitive. But England will win this match. I am not expecting to see a one-sided match.

A much weaker team than England, Ireland had a fairly good experience playing one Test against Bangladesh and several Tests against Sri Lanka. A Test against England is going to start today. Ireland performed on the pitch of England, from this side several young people of the island Curtis Campher, Harry Tector, Balbirnie, Paul starling performed well. But as always in the England squad, Chris Woakes, James Anderson, Mark Wood, Ben Stokes bowled well in Tests. So in terms of bowling performance England squad is much better than Ireland squad.

Josh Little is promising, but then he is a much sought after commodity in the franchise T20 leagues around the world. Craig Young is capable of taking wickets, but he is too injury prone. And that leaves Mark Adar and a bunch of younger players for Irish bowling department.

Even with the previous test match Ireland suffered loss due to poor bowling. Over time the team will improve as experience lets them understand how to handle situations.

Balbirnie have said about the match to be a challenge, along with the same he had mentioned his confidence of making a win against England. A win is historical and to the same he had added up the previous test match played between the two teams, where England got dismissed for 85 runs.

Although facing the new ball can be difficult batters have succeeded in similar circumstances in the past. The team has the chance to grow, identify its flaws and effectively counter the new ball. Let's cheer for the team as ardent supporters keep an optimistic attitude and hope for a valiant comeback.

When 4 wickets fall for 78 runs, not much can be expected from the team. As Ireland lost 4 of their top order in the 1st innings, how far they can go tomorrow that will be the main point. But I would agree with you that if they can't score 200 then how will they fight against England. Because England is known most experienced team in the test cricket. If Ireland can play a full day they will be able to score good runs but I don't think they will be able to score 200 in these conditions.

Looks like Ireland first innings will be over by today. Right now Ireland have lost the 5^th wicket. Most of the match this is the situation. Used to loss wickets at the  beginning and the lower order used to contribute better than the opening order. Atleast 250+ runs is a must to have a better match between the teams. McCollum -36, Moor - 10, Balbirnie - 0, Tector - 0, Stirling - 30. Stuart Broad in good form and have taken 4 wickets.
