Australia won the match by 4 wickets, but it wasn't an easy victory for them. The venue is same, and the pitch condition was almost same. It was the 3rd match at this field of this series. Both teams batted well in the first match (3rd ODI). Then we have seen some poor batting performance in the second match (4th ODI). Both team got all out in that match. And today we have seen more difficult pitch for the batsman. Anyway, Sri Lanka team is happy as they have won the series. I didn't expect that Sri Lanka will win this series.

First of all, I think Sri Lanka did not give enough importance in the last match because it was not a decider or anything like that. The pitch was really favoring the bowlers. It was a really small target of  160 runs and Australia also had its fair share of struggles trying to get to the target.

But Australia did win the match but I think they are not going to be happy as their lost against Sri Lanka in the series. I also did not expect Sri Lanka to win the series as well. I have to say it was quite a surprise for me.

It doesn't looks like Srilanka haven't given importance, the ground is much of a batters pitch than a bowlers. Last match Srilanka managed to reach 258 runs. The previous match too on the same pitch and the target is easy reachable for a team like Australia. They lost the match by 4 runs and in today's match there is early wickets and later Carey who took a stand while wickets were falling. He made partnerships with Labuschagne and Green. This is the reason why Australia was able to mark the win. If not, this could've been a loss for Australia.

Given the recent form of Sri Lanka, they should be happy with whatever they got from the series against Australia. Personally I wasn't expecting them to win even a single match, but they managed to win 3 out of the 5 ODIs and 1 out of the 3 T20Is. And for Australia, it is time for introspection. They need to look in to the reasons why they lost to such a low ranked team. The test series is coming up, and I don't think that the Aussies can afford to lose any of the matches. Fortunately the ODI series was not part of the WC Super League.

This match is not important for Sri Lanka though. But I don't think their batting will be ruined in such a bad way. However, despite losing 7 wickets for just 62 runs, they were able to collect 100 runs. Karunaratne is unbeaten on 28 runs. And this is the highest collection among Sri Lankan batsmen. Waiting for an easy win for Australia.

Australia have lost its fourth wicket for 50 runs. Marsh who took responsibility and started scoring have lost his wicket. Labuschagne and Carey are in the crease. Losing two more wickets will confirm the win of Sri Lanka. The pitch is much supportive to the bowlers than batters. Possibly this match will end as the previous match with a small score difference.

That is correct - Sirlanka was already in crisis. The whole country was in political turmoil. This win against Aussie is definitely a great victory.
People of Sri Lanka would be definitely be very happy.

The Australian team has a lot of talented players, and they do not rely on the performance of any particular player. Almost every player of the team is able to perform well. The fact that Warner and Maxwell did not play well, this is not the reason of Australia's defeat. The performance of every player in Australia was irregular. I expected better bowling from the bowlers in particular, as the Sri Lankan batsmen are not very experienced. But the performance of the Australian bowlers has disappointed me as usual.

Even Bangladesh is not improving in all formats and having awful results which are bringing some serious talk about their status and quality but still not good idea to replace Afghanistan in place of Bangladesh because they are also not going to have any better results with no home matches available for them which are not going to happen for nearly 15 to 20 years so with this all Bangladesh is better choice, but they need to have better quality for staying in good position and for shut up call which is looking hard with their domestic system is never been ideal, and it's not bringing some good changes in their image.

They need to do some hard decisions if they want to bring better quality and improving results, otherwise they could be down and out like Zimbabwe.

Australians are having one of the best cricketing system and too many quality players in their squad but here they were trying to check few different formations which are going to work for them in future because they mostly go for some long term planning and right now they are preparing their squad for next world cup which is going to play in India so this loses is not going to have any big impact they can recover very quickly from these lows.

Now, just because of them we have many other teams are also trying things like these and bringing too many players in their squads for different formats which is amazing change and this could be more competitive in near future because more professional players will be available for all formats for every team.

After the first ODI where Australia defeated Sri Lanka in the rain affected match even if the score was challenging i expected the series to be one sided but Sri Lanka really surprised me from the second ODI onwards, defending a really low total and then chasing a challenging total in the third ODI and yet again defending a modest total in the 4th ODI and winning the series and i lost a lot of money in this series underestimating Sri Lanka  .

LOL.. seriously. According to my calculations, the odds of Afghanistan winning the world cup is much better than that from Bangladesh. I don't know why I can't find any rhythm among the players of Bangladesh. Especially after Mashrafe Murtuza's move away from cricket, there is no interest in Bangladesh cricket. Meanwhile, the psychological interaction of the players with BCB does not seem to be very good. Bangladesh cricket also has many records. They have the power to defeat any countries of the world and there have some legendary figures as well but all in all, their current situation is not satisfactory.

Anyone here following Ranji Trophy. History creted today as Madhya Pradesh for the first time won the Ranji trophy by defeating Maharashtra. Madhya Pradesh team was bein coached by Chandrakant Pandit who was a former wicketkeeper of team India. He was also the captain of Madhya Pradesh Ranji team in 1999, when they lost the finals and after 23 years won the Ranjhi trophy as a coach.

Anyone here following Ranji Trophy. History creted today as Madhya Pradesh for the first time won the Ranji trophy by defeating Maharashtra. Madhya Pradesh team was bein coached by Chandrakant Pandit who was a former wicketkeeper of team India. He was also the captain of Madhya Pradesh Ranji team in 1999, when they lost the finals and after 23 years won the Ranjhi trophy as a coach.

Followed the updates, but didn't got enough spare time to watch it live. This time, it was a low key affair, with none of the national players participating in the finals. Only exceptions were Prithvi Shaw (Mumbai captain) and Dhawal Kulkarni (who last played for India in 2016). The Madhya Pradesh players were all unknown to me, apart from Rajat Patidar and Kumar Kartikeya. But they have a very young squad, and I am sure that at least a few of the players will get a chance to represent the national team in the future.

But we all know that India loves to Chase and Ireland is actually not a match for them. India is above multiple levels compared to Ireland. India eventually won the match really easily..

I think everyone expected that. India did not even need turnovers to score all the runs in the end. Yuzvendra Chahal bowled really well. Harry Tector batted well for Ireland. He was the main reason why Ireland even reached the score that they did.
