As far as I can tell by watching the scoreboard, both Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam seem to be in good spirits. The Dutch bowlers were thrashed around the park by well settled batsmen. Agha Salman and Naseem Shah are making their ODI debuts, though most of the regular players are in the Pakistan squad! It will be interesting to see which team wins. In my opinion, Pakistan has a better chance of winning this game.

But, the score is 159 runs now after 29 overs. Probably Pakistan will score above 300 runs and it will be enough there to win against Netherlands. Pakistan will get the 4th rank in the World Cup Super League table if they win today. Netherlands is at the bottom of the table with two victories only.

Finally Pakistan ended the innings scoring 314 runs in 50 overs losing 6 wickets. Now Netherlands have begun it's innings and they've lost 3 wickets scoring 77 runs in 16 overs end. I had a close look upon the players of Netherlands. Other than Wesley Barresi, Tim Pringle, and Vivian Kingma were expats who have settled in Netherlands. Most players were from India, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

LOL.. that is definitely not true. Their main performer is Bas de Leede, who is the son of former Dutch international cricketer Tim de Leede. I agree that players such as Teja Nidamanuru, Vikramjit Singh and Aryan Dutt doesn't have Dutch citizenship. But others such as Logan van Beek, Tom Cooper and Scott Edwards have citizenship, and although they were born outside the Netherlands, they have Dutch heritage. Nowadays it is very difficult for teams such as Netherlands to field a 100% native side. Because other nations such as UAE and Oman just import players from India and Pakistan to form 100% foreign squads and then they manage to win matches against native teams. In the end, these foreigner teams will get good amount of funds.

78 says 119 runs to be taken but it is not too difficult for Netherlands team.But they have already lost five wickets, if they had two more wickets and one good wicket they could have won the match more confidently.But it is not very difficult for Netherlands to win the game, if they play with a little focus, they can win this game.If Pakistan can give a good bowling performance then Pakistan will be able to secure victory in today's match.But I feel today's match can be in favor of Netherlands if the batting performance and wickets can hold up.

There is a big gap between Pakistan and Netherlands in cricket. Pakistan is a very good team in ODI cricket. Pakistan won comfortably against the world's top teams Since the opponent is Netherlands and the target is 300 plus runs, we can easily say that Pakistan will win this match very easily.  But we all know that in cricket you have to wait till the last ball for the mud to fall. I would like to say that Netherland is not absolutely out of the competition in this match against Pakistan. Even though I really do not believe Netherland will be able to win this match. Because the required rate is more than nine and the Netherlands only have four wickets in hand. But as long as Edwards is in the middle I think Netherland have hope. Lets see what will happen.

Political interference in cricket is very serious. If it is done by unqualified persons. I don't know if BCB president Papon played cricket. Surely someone related to cricket should have been given the presidency. We have seen Zimbabwe's party reduced to rubble after political interference. Bangladesh team is going to be the same? I don't see any talented youngsters for the Bangladesh squad when the senior players retire.

As in above post someone mentions if you are living in South Asia then surely you need to understand geopolitics as well because here if someone is in ruling party then we have to manage his friends and family as well and same happening in India and Bangladesh with most of the peoples from ruling parties are enjoying these posts and enjoying just difference is India is the biggest market and have some better system even still corruption exits and having too many off the field issues.

Bangladesh is relatively having too many problems they fail to bring fair policy and develop their structure and system in long run and now suffering badly even now they can go more down and feel the pressure but ruling party will never do any positive work for the improvement because they are enjoying and have nothing with these things and common persons interest.

Pakistan did bat well but Netherlands team batted equally well. I don't care if Pakistan still wins this match but scoring around 300 runs in a chase against Pakistan bowlers is a big achievement for Netherlands team. For me , Netherlands  rocks in this match.

After 46 overs both Pakistan and Netherlands  teams were at 267-6 . This shows you that how well the Netherlands teams are trying to chase this one.

Mate, today we have first ODI between the Netherlands and Pakistan no test match and Pakistan give them a good target of 315 and after end of 50 overs Netherlands manage to done 298/8 a good fight from them against inexperienced Pakistani bowlers at once point I was feeling they can win this match but lack of finishing bring them down in this match even three batsmen reach the figure of 50 runs and Edwards were playing very good but sadly fail to hit big shots at crucial time and Pakistani new debutant bowler Naseem Shah also having very good last few overs which help them for clinching first ODI.

Fakhar Zaman awarded MOM for his brilliant century with today match now I am feeling these associate countries are doing good job and giving tough challenge to big teams, hopefully they could be more developed if ICC arrange some good tours for them from top ranked teams in near future.

Pakistan scored 314 runs in this match.It was difficult for the Netherlands to break 300 plus runs to win.If Netherlands could have done a little better bowling performance earlier, but they could have dominated today's match.However, the Netherlands played a very good game and lost the match by just 16 runs.This 16 run would not have been too difficult if they had done a bit better earlier.However, in the next match, I think the Netherlands will correct this mistake and start the match with the intention of winning.

Among all the teams in ODI cricket at the moment, India and Pakistan are in very good form. Especially the young cricketers of Pakistan have taken themselves to great heights in the last two years. Babar Azma set a target of 314 runs which is not a sky high but in Netherlands Losing a run chase by 16 runs is not bad at all but an innings game to counter like Pakistan.
