As expected, India defeated England despite initial issues during their innings. England are over-dependent as usual on certain players which keeps screwing them again and again.
Pant and Pandya were amazing and totally took the game away from England. Why the heck does Kohli keep getting so many chances? I love his batting, but he needs to embrace the fact that he needs a long break to help recover his form.
Smith has also had a lean patch in recent years, but he still scores centuries now and then. This is the best way to support him in my opinion.

Indian bowlers bowled brilliantly. England would have given a target of at least 320 on this type of pitch had the Indian bowlers not performed well. Especially the bowling of Hardik Pandya and Chahal was outstanding.

Kohli continued his poor performance. Still BCCI is giving him a place in the main squad. We are not sure how long BCCI will give Kohli such an opportunity. But if Kohli cannot return to form before the World Cup, then it is uncertain for him to perform in the World Cup.

Kohli again fail to give any positive impression which is surely now headache for selectors as World Cup is coming in just three months, and now they are going to West Indies for another ODI and T-20 series. India's need to have few top order batsmen in good form if they want to perform good in mega event but sadly right now Dhawan, Sharma and Kohli all out of form.

Three important and experienced batsmen in India's top order are out of form. The coming world will not be good for India. If Rohit, Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan don't play well, India won't even make it to the semi-finals of the World Cup. But I'm worried aboutKohli. He is likely to be dropped from the team if he fails to return to form. He was a complete failure in this.

Kholii is under pressure and he has gone through enough criticism already
I think it is an end of career for Kholi - once the player is this much under pressure - they barely come back.

England's top order batsmen Bairstow and Root both returned to 0 in this match. Rishabh Pant on the other hand scored 125 runs for India which took the match in hand otherwise the game would not have been so easy. After all it must be said that India played well though Kohli has not been able to improve his performance probably he has to face various questions.

I think it is an end of career for Kholi - once the player is this much under pressure - they barely come back.

End of career? I disagree. Players like Mohammad Amir got banned from Cricket and came back stronger than ever which is just one example to prove that it's possible to retain your form even after a prolonged lean patch.

On top of that, the brain drain problem in South Africa is applicable for its women's team as well. Some of the quality players have migrated out of the country recently. Anyway, these matches will serve as warmups before the Commonwealth Games start. England is trying hard to win the gold medal, with South Africa being a distant contender.

All the players in the England Women team played well, I think they will play very well in today's match.  Tammy Beaumont scored 119 off 107 balls.  I think he played very well.  Emma Lamb scored 65 off 66 balls.

Tammy Beaumont was excluded from the squad for Commonwealth Games, and she responded with a century against South Africa. Selectors have responded by claiming that she's suitable only for the 50-over format and not for the shorter one. In the end, South Africa got thrashed and went down by such a big margin. Both the teams will be a part of the Commonwealth Games cricket competition as well (T20 format) and it will be interesting to see whether the Africans can recover from their recent losses.

I disagree. Kohli has been a big burden for the Indian side, especially during the ICC tournaments. When was the last time India won an ICC tournament under the leadership of Kohli? His career has been going downslide ever since he got addicted to the Bollywood woke behavior. He needs to learn a lesson or two from Hardik Pandya, who took some time off and came back with a bang. IMO, Kohli needs a break of 6 months or so, during which he can play county cricket in England or Sheffield Shield in Australia. That will help him to regain his focus.

Agreed bhai, he had a huge fan following in every cricketing nation and it's a big loss considering 50 overs WC is schedule next year.

The amount of cricket these players are playing is not good sign and playing all 3 format is not sustainable anymore for many players especially Indians or in some extent English players too.
