Shubham Gill must be learning a new reality in international cricket that how hard to get his first international ton.

In 17 intl matches across 2 formats (test-odi) he came close to magic figure of 100 3 times but poor guy can't break the curse. Got out on 91 at Gabba. Got stuck at 98 when rain ruined his party against Windies and against Zim well there wasn't much to chase.

Well.. at least he got a chance to bat. Sanju Samson fans are furious that he didn't got an opportunity to showcase his batting skills. Zimbabwe seems to be the weakest team in the ODI super league, and they seems to be in a worse condition when compared to both Ireland and Netherlands. In case of the Dutch, at least they have the excuse that most of their regular players are away for county cricket (and despite that they gave a good fight against Pakistan in the first ODI). Zimbabwe doesn't have any such excuse. Their performance was pathetic.

In ODI Sanju's fans might be correct and i also like to see him getting big rope but only in ODI not T-20, may be his time will come again after T-20 2022 WC.

In t-20 he had fair amount of opportunities and he failed to capitalize on that, 20-ish average with 135 SR is not going to help his case anyway. If he had average of 30+ with the same SR then management could have think about him fitting into top 5 but for top5 slots competition is tough and you can't survive in such setup with those numbers.

Bangladesh lost with Zimbabwe due to some structural mistakes of the Bangladesh team and some internal political issues within the team. But in the third match, Bangladesh played brilliantly and for some corrections, the match went in favor of Bangladesh. If all these mistakes were not made in Bangladesh in the first and second matches, then Bangladesh could have won the series.

I will not call the Bangladesh team weak. The Bangladesh team has several world-class players. However, the performance of Bangladesh team players is not regular. There are no players in the Bangladesh team who can consistently perform well. This is why Bangladesh lost the series even against weak teams.
Zimbabwe scored 160 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. They will probably lose the last wicket before 170. India will win this match very easily.
