The West Indians had no chance of winning the match, the target was quite large. I believe the West Indies obviously should have done better on the batting order. But because of the weather, that pitch became a lot more bowling friendly in my opinion. The way Indian bowlers bowled West Indies, they really have no chance in my opinion. West Indies did try to score runs as quickly as possible obviously because they had the DLS method in their mind. But that did not help them at all. Because that only resulted in them losing quick wickets. And no West Indies batsmen could continue the winning streak, even though a few of them got an excellent start.

West Indies was a complete failure in all the departments - batting, bowling and fielding. And they lack quality players such as Pollard and Russell, who can singlehandedly win matches for them. Jason Holder was part of the playing XI, but there is a limit up to which he can do. Anyway, from tomorrow onwards, the T20I series will start. This is the strongest format for West Indies and Indian squad is missing some of the regular players. There will be a total of 5 matches and for the West Indians this series represents a golden opportunity to get even against India.

There are times when there are very bad conditions in the team and that was the case for the West Indies.Lately West Indies is having a very bad season. West Indies face India again from tomorrow for T20 match.But there are many good players in West Indies like playing T20 matches.I hope West Indies will play very well in T20 against India.

India is a good team if we talk about T20 format. West Indies is also favorite in this short format and they have ability to chase any team. I think West Indies are T20 specialist and they can fight with any team in this format. I hope they will spend good times in their next series.

India and West Indies are two very strong teams in T20 format.India is very strong in all aspects.But we have enjoyed West Indies T20 game before, they are very strong team for T20 game.But when the game starts tomorrow, of course we will request and see which team can give the best performance.

Looks like my predictions were spot-on throughout this ODI series and I won all my bets. The odds for India were decent throughout this series(Winner Overall, Individual match winners etc).

West Indies are not performing well in ODI series, it is not only against India's, I have also seen before that they are surrendering to Bangladesh. I think they need to be more experienced to play ODIs. After all i have to say India roared in this match. Currently one of the Indian players Shubman Gill did not get the century for 2 runs but he introduce himself as a talented one. I think India has been able to revive their old cricket where they are all the best.

West Indies is completely failure in last two decades with all development are going into vain as their board's attitude with their star players is also a big setback for this all failure with they have never done any positive change which help them for having some good quality players in any format. Now they are consistently losing series against teams like Ireland, Bangladesh and now India with this all most chances they will be out of top 12 in coming years as few new teams are in good shape and having some better structure and environment for having better results and improvement in quality.

With this win now India can feel proud because this was their third level team which done amazing job and with many new qualities talented players they can do much better in coming years.

Even if West Indies have some power and a little bit of stability in betting right now, I don’t think they have any type of stability in the bowling department. There is no reliable score for West Indies right now. If they play against a weaker opponent or opponents of the same level, it is different, but against India, that is not the case.

In the last ODI, the rain interruption caused a lot of problems for the West Indies as well. I thought that they couldn’t even get set. When you have to think about the DLS method consistently, it is always challenging.

India just proved that they are better in almost every aspect of the game than the West Indies.

I don't think so. They only won the last match convincingly while they won the first two matches by slim margins primarily due to luck siding with them. West Indies could have actually won the series(2-1) if luck sided with them if you think about it.

West Indies bowlers are a joke now. There used to be a time when Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh would terrorize the batsmen from opposing teams. Even the Australian legends such as Steve Waugh and Adam Gilchrist were afraid to face these two. Before that, they had legends such as Malcolm Marshall, Michael Holding and Joel Garner. And look at the current bunch of West Indian pacers. They look so pathetic. It is a painful sight to watch them getting hammered around the park by second-string Indian players.

Absolutely WI could have easily won 2 ODI's but they did not because they lack that kind of experience as the team is completely brand new. Another reason was that India has a good batting depth. Players like Axar Patel can come in handy when they are needed and at the same time, Indian bowlers have started showing a lot of improvement and discipline. In my opinion, this WI side needs to work on both batting and bowling and in no time they will become competetive.

I agree. Most of the players are "average" and not any better. Unfortunately for them, star players such as Darren Bravo, Andre Russell and Kieron Pollard are not interested in representing the national team anymore. So the selectors are forced to rely upon these inexperienced and average players. Also, West Indies badly lacks a quality spinner. Spin was always a weak point for them, but now the situation is much worse than it used to be. Players such as Akeal Hosein and Fabian Allen doesn't have the ability to trouble batsmen at international level.

I agree. Ambrose and Walsh were legends back in those days while the only West Indian bowler who I prefer these days is Joseph. Roach was decent too, but he is very inconsistent these days. West Indian board should be held accountable.

Also, West Indies badly lacks a quality spinner. Spin was always a weak point for them, but now the situation is much worse than it used to be. Players such as Akeal Hosein and Fabian Allen doesn't have the ability to trouble batsmen at international level.

T20 World Cup cricket will be held after few months later but if they can't change the current situation they won't be able to go far in their T20 World Cup cricket. At this moment they have to perform well on both sites.

One thing that I have learnt over time is that West Indies should never be underestimated in the T-20 format no matter how badly they perform across other formats.

Though West Indies lost recent odi series against India but there performance was almost as good as India in first two ODIs. The lost lost first and second ODI by very close margin. Still they need to work hard to improve there performance with such performance they can't play with teams like Australia, Pakistan etc.

I some how believe that his days as a cricket player are outnumbered.

I still remember the IPL days of Sunil Narine. We always knew him as a bowler but in the T-20 format, he has proved that he is a capable all-rounder. And I can only imagine how he could give his services to his national team. But of course because of all the problems in the West Indies national team he did not play for long. He is a talented player and I am quite sure that a lot of other players like him also got lost through time. Once West Indies was a crate team and a force to be reckoned with. It is sad to see the situation they are in now.

Yes, I also remember the KKR days of Sunil Narine. The only spinner who knows how to spin the ball both ways without changing his bowling action. The batsmen had to guess where the ball would spin by looking at the line.

Virat Kohli should have been given a chance in the series against Zimbabwe. He has been out of form for three long years. Zimbabwe's bowling line-up is weak. Virat Kohli might have been able to play well against such a team. If he returns to form, he might be able to perform consistently well again. But BCCI rested Virat Kohli. It doesn't look like he will be able to return to form for the next World Cup. Kohli is probably going to be kicked out of the Indian team very quickly.
