India has really presented a very beautiful game.  I had a lot of fun watching the game.  But Shikhar Dhawan scored 97 runs off 99 balls.  If he could score 3 more runs, he would have scored a century.  I am very disappointed that he did not score a century.  But I hope all Indian players will play very well in future.

Shikhar Dhawan batted very responsibly. Shibman Gill batted aggressively, but Shikhar Dhawan scored very slowly. If India's middle-order batsmen could have played better, the match would have been more enjoyable. And India could have given more than 350 targets. In the last 10 overs, we expect an aggressive performance from the batsmen. But the Indian batsmen managed to collect only 58 runs in the last 10 overs.

I think Shikhar Dhawan is a very good player.  He sometimes plays the game with a very cool head but Shikhar Dhawan does not play with a hot head.  I hope Shikhar Dhawan will give better performance.  If he plays well, I am interested to watch India play.  And if Shikhar Dhawan plays badly, I don't want to watch the game.

The first ODI was a lucky excape for India. At one point I was in the impression that WI will easily win the match.

That is true. I expected Windies to lose, but I never thought that they would come so close and lose. Romero gave it everything at the end, but couldn't help his team cross the finish line sadly.

If he plays well, I am interested to watch India play.  And if Shikhar Dhawan plays badly, I don't want to watch the game.

You don't watch the Indian team play whenever Dhawan underperforms? Seriously? I guess you are his hardcore fan or something.

Sometime all the players are aggressive and the other times the players are unable to perform because they have bad days in their life too.

Exactly my point. I was surprised to see that yesterday West Indies went so close in Match against India it could have almost been a defeat for India. While on the other hand Bangladesh clean sweeped West Indies so easily. All the 3 matches in that series were so one sided. But Bangladesh have to become consistent as well especially have to play good in big tournaments upcoming Asia Cup can be a good test for them.

They should give equal effort in T20 and Test formats also.

India's two openers Shubman Gill and Shikhar Dhawan are batting superbly. India did not lose any wicket even in 12 overs. And they managed to collect 87 runs. Shikhar Dhawan scored 33 runs off 36 balls and Shubman Gill scored 50 runs off 36 balls. If West Indies fails to take 2/3 of India's wickets before 20 overs then India will set a target of more than 350 in this match.

Shikhar Dhawan wanted to get a century with out any pressure but he didn't do it. I must say he batted responsibly. He is one of the reliable batsmen in team. But the match was at the heart of the excitement towards the end. Especially in West Indies cricket they can get this kind of victory. West Indies need 15 runs in last 6 balls, they finally managed to score 11 runs and lost the match. But Siraj in this case bowling very intelligently in the last delivery where West indies managed to take 1 run.

Siraj may have bowled well in the last over. But I will say, we didn't get a good performance from the Indian bowlers in the whole match. I saw the performance of Bangladeshi bowlers against the West Indies. The Bangladeshi bowlers were very successful against the West Indies batsmen, and every match of the ODI series was dominated by the Bangladeshi bowlers. But the Indian bowlers could not control the match. I will expect better bowling from the Indian bowlers in the upcoming matches.

Yes exactly i think bowling first has helped the Bangladesh the most, i think India lacked those star performer bowlers which really made the difference but it's high time now India should stop being over reliant on Bumrah only. Siraj is doing good we need to have second brilliant in form star bowler in our team as well. Bhuvaneshwar is good but not consistent enough more or less same is the case with Shami as well.

After having result between West Indies vs Bangladesh I was feeling Indians could be ruined West Indies at home there could be no competition between these two countries but this all just my feelings first ODI India give target of 308 and West Indies touching of figure of 305 is still not believable for me because Bangladesh bowlers were not expectations like Indian bowling attack which completely ruined them, but now I am feeling they will give tough fight and having some good experience which is going to help them, and they will do much better than against Bangladesh extraordinary batting from West Indian batting lineup is shocking for me and thousands others good fighting spirit is also coming in their depth which is important for the game.

If the Indian team had a few players like Jadeja and Ki Bumrah, they would have played better games.  But I think India always plays well.  They have a say and what batting is good.  So they give us good game.  If Bangladesh try to play well then they will play well in every match.

For the BCCI, this was an opportunity to test the bench strength. Bowlers such as Prasidh Krishna and Deepak Hooda got a chance to bowl under SENA conditions, and they did a decent job IMO. Only disappointment for me was Sanju Samson. He never performs at international level, despite being given so many chances. If he wants to become the regular wicket keeper batsmen for India, then he need to prove that he is more consistent when compared to either Rishabh Pant or Ishan Kishan. At this point, I don't think that is the case.

I am really disappointed with Sanju Samson's performance. He is a very talented player. He has been outstanding in almost every IPL season. And BCCI gave Sanju Samson a chance in international matches for his outstanding batting in IPL. And every time Sanju Samson disappoints us. However, if Sanju Samson does not perform well in this series, then his international career may end.

I didn't watched the first odi but there are news that Sanju wicketkeeping was stunning in that match and made a valuable contribution in Indias 3 run victory. He scored only 12 runs in that match. Let's not put pressure on sanju, he is new to international cricket and will require some time to settle.
