Pakistan beat New Zealand by 6 wickets in the first ODI match between New Zealand and Pakistan. New Zealand won the toss first and collected 255 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Even though everyone in the team performed well, no one scored a half century. Pakistan's pressure Naseem Shah took 5 wickets for 57 runs in 10 overs. With a target of 256 runs,Pakistan went into bat and won in 48.1 overs. Almost all the Pakistani batsmen performed very well and Mohammad Rizwan top scored with 77 runs.

India VS Srilanka

After India's victory in the T20 series, the ODI series is starting now. Today's ODI series will see a number of changes for India with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli being included in the squad. However, after losing the ODI series with Bangladesh, it will be seen how India fares against Sri Lanka at their home venue. But it is expected that India will perform well against Sri Lanka.

There is hammering of Srilankans bowlers going on in Guwahati by Indian Batsmen. The good thing from indian perspective is that Virat Kohli has also joined the party and is scoring runs today. He is not out on 85 runs from 71 balls. Still 36 more balls to go and India already have scored 326 runs. I think India will set a target of around 400 runs and its very much possible since they have 6 wickets in hands. most importantly kohli is there and scoring runs.

Now coming back to the match, i feel Indians lost the momentum in the last 9 overs and scored run a ball in the last 3 overs so overall 15-20 runs short.

I didn't expect any proper fightback from Sri Lanka since there aren't many great players in their team at present. Hasaranga is literally the only player that I remember properly thanks to his epic bowling skills.

India will whitewash the Lankans in my opinion since majority of their players are in great form. Also, Kohli keeps rocking and 156 kph thunderbolt from Malik was stunning.

Yes the pitch is batting friendly and I think both teams Batmens were tooks that benefits. Both teams played good in the side of batting but I didn't saw any big partnership from the  top ordered batmens from Sri Lanka and I also think that they can't maintain properly the run rate from the beginning and that's why at the end of moment the require run rate got higher and they can't touch that .
But Dasun Shanaka  and Pathum Nissanka performance should also commendable. But they can't make team work properly in Batting lineup . But this performance give signals that the upcoming match maybe unpredictable.
