Yes ‍agree, not just today's match but the entire series was supposed to be dominated by UAE. Because comparatively they have been playing cricket much earlier than Nepal. But the way Nepal played today let everyone know that they are going to do something. Their bowling line-up deserves a lot of praise. Although they have a little weakness because in today's match they would have been able to score more than 200 runs but due to their lack of strategy Nepal may not have reached that level but they are sure to do well in the future.

UAE players are very experienced and many of them are ex-first class players from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. But at the same time, Nepal enjoyed the home advantage. After reaching their peak in 2013-14, Nepal has struggled to perform consistently. The retirement of their captain (Paras Khadka) was a big blow for them. What they have now is a very inexperienced team, with promising players such as Rohit Paudel (captain, 20 yrs old), Gulsan Jha (16 years old) and Arjun Saud (19 years old). Paudel in particular has a lot of potential.

The first ODI between these two team is being played today. A total of 3 ODI will be played between these two teams. Australia won the toss and selected to bowl first. England has already lost 3 wickets for 38 runs at the end of 8th over. Not a good start for the T20WC winners. Any target less than 250+ runs would be easy to chase for the Australian side.

England managed to score very good runs with the bat first.  But they have already lost four wickets which is their weak point.  They scored 90 runs in 17 overs it's not a very small score but they have already lost 4 wickets which makes them a bit vulnerable but if they keep wickets and play full 50 overs then they should be able to score atleast 250 runs and if they play a bit better  Then 300 can be done which may not be possible for Australia to cross this target

LOL.. didn't noticed that an ODI series is going on. I don't think that the matches are part of the 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. So this is just another bilateral tour. And at this point England looks to be in some sort of trouble and they are at 106/4 after 21 overs. Dawid Malan and Jos Buttler are at the crease now and they are slowly rebuilding the innings. There isn't much batting to come after this, so they need to be careful. A total of around 250 would be sufficient in this ground, as it seems to have a lot of pace and bounce.

Considering it is a 50 match over the current RR is good. What concerns is the amount of wickets England has lost. Unless and untill they form a partnership then they would not surpass 250+ runs. With the current RR the projected score is more than 280. I was not expecting the winner of T20WC would have a bad start in a 50 over match.

Dawid Malan is still out there, but he is running out of support from the other end. Chris Jordan has come out, after Liam Dawson got out to a useless run-out. I would be surprised if England manages a total of 200 plus. At this point, they are in deep trouble. Zampa got the crucial wicket of Jos Buttler. He was looking good, but I don't know why he decided to bat at no.6. He should have batted further up the order and that could have stabilized the England batting. 18 overs remain now, let's see what Malan will be able to do.

That may be true too.  Cause Dawid Malan is still on strike and it can be possible if he can survive till last . Because now he is only the batsman who can make a good score for England.
But I think now, he should play this 5 overs coolly, the strike rate should be increased in the last 10 overs.  Otherwise, it will be difficult for England to score more runs if they get out after hitting four sixes.

Dawid Malan is very close to managed a century. If another player stands with him then the match will go towards a big score. Only 4 wickets and 13 overs left. Meanwhile England managed to complete 200 runs. If they can face the full 50 overs, the runs can come close to 300. They are slowly getting the green signal from where they were under pressure. but now one another wicket is gone so it would be very difficult again to reach the good level.

And till now they have made 268/8 from 47 overs. And the England tail is proving to be a thorn in Australia's flesh. David Willey and Luke Wood are scoring valuable runs. They may make somewhere around 300, which will be very difficult to chase given the ground conditions at the Adelaide Oval. Travis Head and David Warner will be under enormous pressure.

Agreed. And in cricket fortunes can change in a matter of days. After the T20 world cup, a lot of people asked Dawid Malan to retire from international cricket. But today he proved why he is such an integral part of the team. At one point, England were at 158/6. But Malan managed to rebuild the innings, with help from the lower order batsmen (Chris Jordan and David Willey). BTW, England needs to have a rethink on their batting order. Having Jos Buttler at no.6 and James Vince/Sam Billings above him doesn't make any sense.

Both teams done good fight in this good entertaining inning as first 15 overs belong to Australia then Malan give his best and reached at score of 134 which is surely one of the best inning in these conditions but after his wicket Australia fight back even still it's good target but still they manage good because once I was feeling England can reach at 300+ but Australia fights back which is now going to be good match for both teams.

Willy's contribution is also amazing on this situation as all top order badly down-and-out even this is batting track but still Australian done good job and take all top wickets cheaply now let's watch how Australian chase this now after Finch they are having Head and Warner as openers and Smith and Labuschagne in middle order.

This is just a bilateral tour and not a part of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2. Therefore a win in this series won't do any good for Nepal. And they are currently at the 6th position (only Papua New Guinea is behind them in the points table) in WCL2. For any increase in funding, either they need to qualify for the Asia Cup, or they need to finish within top-3 in WCL2. At this point, both the scenarios look impossible. And their next WLC2 tri-series is against two very strong sides - Namibia and Scotland.

Lack of funding and facilities are badly hurting Nepal for having better results in this World Cup League2 with now Lamichane's exit is also big setback which is not recoverable in near future so with this all I have been feeling their future is not bright in this game specially while we have team like the UAE which is full of adopted players and having better facilities and funding as well but still hopes are high as they are not bad at all.

Asian cricket is having good competition with too many competitors are giving their best but still we are not having big region not involved in this like ASEAN and China which need good development because this will increase finances and competition surely this also can help cricket to be developed like we have soccer in UEFA because right now this is good and positive for all countries here in this region and with this we will be able to break supremacy of two subcontinent giants as well.

I thought from the first match of this series that Nepal is going to be whitewashed by United Arab Emirates.  But the way they turned around in the second match really deserves praise. Although Nepal looked like they were going to dominate today's match, their last order and middle order batting was outstanding today and they managed to win the match.  Also their bowling has improved a lot.  And through today's match they proved that future matches are going to be unpredictable.

After watching first match details my feeling was also same because Nepal is looking the weakest side in current situation but still both are unpredictable and any good performance from any player can change things drastically in any team favor which happen in second ODI with Gulsan Jha just 16 years old wonder kid done good with ball and bat which give them good comeback with now series is level with the score of 1 - 1, and we have to wait for final match on 18th November which is good for them because with this performance we can hope good fighting spirit which will help to increase confidence of these guys.

After having good opening stand, UAE still fail to produce good performance in batting and bowled out just for 191 in 44th over which was surely not good target to chase but still their bowlers done good job, and they have not allowed home side for easy win Gulsan Jha done good job at the end as they lost five wickets with just 89 runs on board but at the end they win this match narrowly.

Great performance of England batsman David Malan. David Malan has so far scored 130 runs off 123 balls. With 130 runs from Debit Malan, the score of the England team is 247 runs with the loss of 7 wickets in 44 overs. If David Malan can play the whole match. The team score is likely to be 290

England bat first  and started bit slow with quick loss of wickets but later Dawid Malan played a smashing innings of 134 runs 128 balls with twelve 4's and four 6's and lifted England scores to 287 runs .

Even if England scored 350 runs in today's match, they might not have expected a certain win. However, if David Warner can play some more time then it might not take long to end the match. England need early wickets especially the wicket of David Warner. It is the first ODI and maybe England will try to learn from their mistakes in the next game.
