Jos Buttler said that Dawid Malan took them where they wanted to go. But they are not happy. If they had been able to take their wickets early, the match might have gone much better. They will be back on the field again next Saturday, hopefully they will do better.

Absolutely right I think playing continues cricket of every format is too hard especially for fast bowler and batter too. Because in Test matches every fast bowler bowl more than 15 to 20 over in every single test matches which is quite bad for bowlers health so the cricket board and ICC must take care of bowler health by giving him rest after every big event. And these continues match playing most cause of player injury which quitely affect player career .

Lol! Boards need money! You made it sound so desperate. India VS Newzealand series was joke before India's humiliating kicked out in the semifinal against England. For now BCCI is damm serious about the next cup and they have also hinted that they are looking for new talents. My take, overconfident BCCI now going back to basics for the next T20WC. ODI is important but not that much as the richest cricket board that earns a huge chunk of revenue from T20 format wants to become the number one in the same.

Seriously when England ended up with 287 runs I thought that was a very good score and the Aussies might not chase this score or perhaps they might face some difficulty chasing this score.
However, the top three batsmen from Australia (David Warner, Travis Head, Steven Smith )  took the match away from England and they won this match quite easily.

Apart from the result of this match, I enjoyed the innings from Dawid Malan. He scored 138 runs in challenging positions when all other wickets were falling around him. Without his contribution, England may not have made even 200 runs.

Well, i didn't mean to exaggerate but the Kiwi board could use some extra cash by hosting the Indian team (all revenue goes to the host team), although it's very unfair to players.

In my reading they are hardly overconfident, instead, it all comes down to selection. I lost count of how many matches we lost due to selection, especially Test matches, it applies in LOIs (ICC tourny) too

And England somehow managed to score 287 ,thanks to Dawid Malan 138 runs but they failed to ball like that.  They didn't took early wickets which results in Australia's victory.

If I Talking about today's match, I will say that the bowlers of both teams did not perform well in the match. After T20, the ODI is next hope for the all other teams as I am excited too, ODI format is completely different from t20. As far I know maximum fans use to follow the T20 series but ODI is quite interesting too as far I know ODI format plays more important role in the Players game improvement and also its always a test for the player to stand alone.

ODI cricket is actual form of cricket that shows players stamina and consistency to play for long period of time as compare to T20. Right now T20 is getting more popular but one day international matches have their strong fan following.

Actually it builds the players consistency and sharpen the skills as far i know maximum of the ODI players are much more experienced and better performers as compared to the T20 but T 20 format is completely different here ypu need runs. In ODi you need to save the Wickets and play slow and steady.

If I Talking about today's match, I will say that the bowlers of both teams did not perform well in the match. In the beginning   the Australian bowlers did a little better from the beginning, it was because of their negligence that England managed to go above 200 or 250.But However, in the second innings, England got a lesson from the Australian batsmen from the beginning.

England stumbled at the beginning of the innings. They lost three valuable wickets for just 31 runs. And this is where they fall behind. Even then England were able to post a big target of 288 depending on Dawid Malan's performance of 134 runs. Although the target is big enough, but such a pitch should have given a target of at least 300+ to win.
The performance of Australia's top order players was excellent. The first three batsmen of the top order scored 86, 69 and 80 runs respectively. As a result, Australia did not face any problem to win. The performance of their bowlers as well as batsmen was excellent.

Agree with you. I'm wondering why those two cricket boards decided to arrange a T20 series right after the world cup. However, it is reasonable to play ODI matches as the ODI world cup will be played in next year. India will visit Bangladesh to play 3 match ODI series in the first week of December month. The T20 series and ODI series squad isn't same though, except two or three players. But I can't see any reason to arrange a T20 series now between New Zealand and India.

Agree with you. I'm wondering why those two cricket boards decided to arrange a T20 series right after the world cup. However, it is reasonable to play ODI matches as the ODI world cup will be played in next year. India will visit Bangladesh to play 3 match ODI series in the first week of December month. The T20 series and ODI series squad isn't same though, except two or three players. But I can't see any reason to arrange a T20 series now between New Zealand and India.

Before the T20 World Cup, we enjoyed only the T20 series between teams for a long time. And now that the T20 World Cup is over, the teams should have organized the ODI series. England and Australia hosted the ODI series. And now I can't find any reason for the T20 series between New Zealand and India. However, T20 matches are more entertaining and exciting than ODI matches, and players from New Zealand and India have been performing well in the T20 format in recent times. I am looking forward to watching this match. Hopefully we will get a chance to enjoy an exciting match.
