I missed watching the ODI match between Australia and England. Looking at the score, David Warner have made good runs out of his regular game. Followed by Travis and Smith have helped Australia make a comfortable win. On the England side, Malan have scored good. Waiting to watch the second ODI, because continued watching of T20 matches have made it to be boring though the game ends in much lesser time than an ODI.

Waiting to watch the second ODI, because continued watching of T20 matches have made it to be boring though the game ends in much lesser time than an ODI.

The t20 had stolen the show . . There England team has won the title as well.

One thing that was missed in the last match Malan's score of 134 which helped the whole team to build a reliable score. On the other hand, Australia's strong batting put the entire innings aside and ensured victory. As the venue was Australia's home ground Australia get some advantages, England did not understand well how to play on this ground. But they can definitely do something different in the upcoming match. All the cricket fans are hoping in the same way.

Nepal vs UAE ODI match is going on, and this is the 3rd and final match of the series. Both the teams are not part of the ICC ODI Ranking system, and the matches are not part of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2. So the outcome will not impact either of these two teams in a big way. But still, Nepal is without their best player, and a win here would be morale booster for them. UAE is struggling, and have made 36/3 so far. For Nepal, the 16-year old fast bowler Gulshan Kumar Jha has picked up 2 wickets till now.

In the 3rd ODI Nepal vs United Arab Emirates match, Nepal won the toss and decided to bowl. This match is being played at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground. Nepal is a very strong team between these two teams.  Won 4 matches and lost 1 match with United Arab Emirates. But United Arab Emirates lost 4 matches out of last 5 matches. But I think Nepal will win this match.

OK.. in that case I got it wrong. But still, these rankings are meaningless. For example, neither Nepal nor the UAE can move up, because they never play matches against the top-10 sides. In order to move up, they need to have wins against higher ranking teams. At this point, Alishan Sharafu and the experienced Rohan Mustafa are trying to build a partnership (although they are scoring at a very slow pace). Nepal needs some quick wickets now. And it will depend on how the Nepali spinners are able to take advantage from the pitch.

You have to feel for the players. Every cricket board treats them like a cash cows and tries to milk them as much as possible.
World Cup just finished and only after 3 days, they are back on the grounds so that board can make some money.
To some extent, ODI is understandable but look at Ind vs NZ t-20 series. Looks like a joke to me.

Agree with you. I'm wondering why those two cricket boards decided to arrange a T20 series right after the world cup. However, it is reasonable to play ODI matches as the ODI world cup will be played in next year. India will visit Bangladesh to play 3 match ODI series in the first week of December month. The T20 series and ODI series squad isn't same though, except two or three players. But I can't see any reason to arrange a T20 series now between New Zealand and India.

There is no reasonable explanation for this bilateral series atm, the only possibility is maybe NZC requested BCCI for this T-20 series.

I would have liked more if it was a 5 ODI series instead of a 3 T-20 + 3 ODIs.

I would also not disagree with you because I am seeing that Today United Arab Emirates  batting side is completely destroyed by Nepali bowlers.They lost their nine wickets at a very low score for the ODI format and I don't think they can score 150 or more in this position. Zimbabwe is at no.13 in the ODI rankings, and they get at least 10-15 matches every year against the top-10 teams. On the other hand, Nepal (which is currently on 19th spot) hasn't played a single ODI till now against any of the test teams. This is the discrepancy I am pointing out. And I am sure that if given adequate opportunities, Nepal will be able to overtake Zimbabwe and that too with a 100% native team. Even Namibia, which is currently placed 14th in the ODI table last played a 50-over match against full members back in 2003.

The current English side is mostly comprised of high strike rate hitters combined with a decent bowling lineup which is why it didn't surprise me to see them lose against Australia who have players like Warner, Smith etc.

England are a dominant side in the T-20 format, but they aren't really formidable in the ODI format even though rankings say otherwise.

But you have also agreed that Zimbabwe was in the top ten ranking a few days ago.  Due to the poor performance of the players and the inefficiency of the management team, they slowly started to slide down from their position. As such, Nepal should not be compared with Zimbabwe.  And since they are a lower ranked team, so that I also think it is also natural that their progress will be slow and matches will be less.

When a team can improve in the game, it is obvious to ‍spread it to everywhere. We all know that UAE is in the leading position in cricket in Middle Eastern countries. But with them, Nepal is roaring and constantly win the game. If Nepal's win in today's match then Nepal will win the series against UAE. This will definitely be plus point for Nepal. If they can maintain this continuation, they will definitely be able to move up the rankings in the future. 1st innings have already finished, UAE collected 176 runs but it in this regard they already able to score more runs with having one wicket this is a good sight of the UAE innings.

Aasif Sheikh and Gyanendra Malla formed an excellent pair. Nepal team's Aasif Sheikh and Gyanendra Malla scored two fifties with the team score of 128 runs for 1 wicket in 30 overs. Looking at the game, it seems that Nepal team will win the series very easily
