Could Barcelona soon have a big shock and the earthquake, the departure of Messi? It seems that the Italian media, judging by this article, https://www.marca.com/en/football/barcelona/2020/07/25/5f1bff5c46163ff5298b45d1.html firmly believe that Messi could join Inter. ''Inter are dreaming of Lionel Messi and there is confidence in Italy that the club could pull off such an operation.''''According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter's Chinese ownership are determined to push for Messi.''Messi's father, Jorge Messi, seems to be moving to Milan. Is something being prepared for the future? I think if this transfer occur then I will only say it as a business reason. I am not really sure that Messi will move from Barcelona to Italy next season and thats just a rumor. Barcelona is home to Messi and I am sure he will only retire there. I never thought that Josep Maria Bartomeu would retain his current coach for next season. For the Barcelona final achievement this season at Laliga, management must find a replacement to foster the spirit of the player. Barcelona senior player are certainly not happy with their current coach and they want a new, better coach and I am sure of that.

Is something being prepared for the future? Well well well , Chelsea been dreaming to transfer messi in with nike helps too few years ago and yet it's still a dream now 😁. The same thing as inter milan dream which unlikely happened. Messi seems unhappy at the current Barcelona situation, that's why media creates a couple of rumors that messi might find the way out of Barcelona. He could join the one-club men just like totti , maldini, giggs etc , if he leaves then no more title like that in messi. But yeah if it's for the business reason which it is always be the main reason for every pre-retirement players like messi , will it worth? Yeah i think so.

If Messi was to leave Barcelona, I seriously cannot see him joining a team like Inter. There would be absolutely no logic in it, they are a team inferior to Barcelona in all categories.
I think that City or PSG would be frontrunners for his signature and considering the quality of the league and Guardiola as manager, I think City's chances would really be big. United could afford him but again - they are currently not a club with enough quality in their team to attract him.

I read that Conte said those are just fake news and that they cannot afford him. In addition, jumping to the Serie A right now isn't a wise move imo, same goes to PSG. At the opposite EPL is more interesting for him, especially City. But we all know that his contract will be renewed before its end

I think Messi’s performance will be worse if he leaves Barcelona. Actually, Messi is not so successful with the Argentina team, so if Messi wants to leave Barcelona at this time, it will not be happy for him. If Messi finalize the decision, that he will leave Barcelona anyhow, I think the best alternative for him is man city.

I was thinking that Ronaldo will never leave Real but he is now in Juve 😁 Any way, Messi and Guardiola have very good relationship and owners of Manchester City have enough money to pay for Messi and to fulfil all his desires. If Messi really decide to leave Barcelona I think he will choose Guardiola and Manchester City. Of course, it's just speculation now based on some rumors and nothing concrete.

Yah, you never know what will happen, but I think it's not worth to comapre them in this case, because their stories is different. Ronaldo changed multiple clubs in his career - Sprting, MU, Real and now he is in Juve. And he never said that he is planning to end his career in Madrid. While Messi played whole his career in Barcelona and he said about his desire to retire here. I think we see similar articles that Messi may leave Barcelona probably every summer...

This rumour is only a result of how Messi is frustrated with how Barcelona are handling player management. Recently he also lashed out at Eric Abidal when he tried to blame players for not working hard. For others he seems quite unsettled as how things are going around in Barcelona. Messi is also stalling his contract extension which is leading to these rumours surfacing up.Whatever it is, its gonna settle down soon.

Of course Ramos it is and that's the way he is the captain right now in Real. He is a player that started his career in Real he never left on loan to another team and he keeps and increasing performance from his first match till now. The passion that he shows doesn't exist in other player in Real.

I think Messi's refusal to sign a new contract is because of what's happening at Barcelona and he needs change. If the management and owners of Barcelona want to keep him, then they have to put those changes in place. This is similar to what happened with Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid back in 2018. However, This isn't the first time that Messi has been rumored to leave Barcelona. It's always settled at the end of the day. It would be interesting to see Messi play in a team other than Barcelona but I'm not sure we'll see that happen.

Exactly what you said, Ronaldo is the guy that has no problem playing in any team and he proved that, Messi is a completely opposite story. Messi is like English players 30 years ago, whenever they left the island to go to Europe they suffered and played a lot worse. Barcelona has an entire team built around Messi and if he leaves to another team that wont be the case and his performance would drop for sure.

Although the opportunity for Inter to play UCL is very good, but they need huge funds for the age of messi. Look at transfermarkt.com. The current market value is Messi € 112.00 million, already down € 68.00 million from prices around 2018. They have also given a release clause to Messi around € 700.00 million. So maybe Inter will have to pay € 812.00 million to Barcelona. Going to Inter Milan is something that can happen, but seeing Messi in Barcelona, I think it will be difficult. Even though Messi is 33 years old he is a regular player in Barcelona.

I feel like they also are in financial situation similar to Barcelona but slightly better. Right now they are considering a swap deal in order to bring Alexis Sanchez on permanent to Inter Milan after Man United denied their loan extension move. So Messi to Inter seems far from happening.

Actually, Messi's career is almost over now, so now changing teams will not be pleasant for him, because it takes a long time to adjust to a new team.

Deportivo de la Coruña requests the suspension and cancellation of the season in segunda, the Fuenlabrada with the fact that some of its players tested positive for the coronavirus they have breached the regulations. It is a case that would go to prosecution. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.explica.co/deportivo-proposes-as-a-solution-the-suspension-and-complete-cancellation-of-the-season-in-segunda/amp/

I agree with you. The main reason why others associate Messi with Inter is his dissatisfaction in Barcelona and the fact that his father bought a house in Milan. Of course this doesn't mean that Messi will leave Barcelona but these are topics that journalists like to write about 😀

It would be really weird for me to see him play for ANY team, but I guess I could live with it if he goes abroad. Seeing him in another Spanish team would feel really really weird for me. I know he's too good to do a Luis Figo but I dunno, I hope it's not City or another rich team. He won't take long to adjust, he's a really special player but I hope he plays for something other than medals, maybe make a small team famous and get a good run to some campaign:)

In case you guys didn't know, Messi's dad bought a house at Milan. So it's def possible that he's moving to Inter maybe not this year but next year on a free transfer.
Sure you could say 'it's just about buying a house'... But these are hints like Mou buying a home at London indicating he would go back to manage Chelsea, he did. Pep learning German during his sabbatical indicating he would manage a German club, he did with Bayern.
