All in stock SP10 were ordered.
Next production run is mid June.

If there will be cancellation or non paying, we'll open "immediate delivery" stock.

Ohhh!!
I ordered my unit yesterday, but payment is still pending.
I did do a wire transfer yesterday at around 6PM CET so I hope it clears today. I will still get my unit though right?

Another question, I wasn't allowed to use a # in my transfer notes at the bank, will this be a problem?

Grt. Bunny

All the paid pending orders will be shipped immediately after we confirm the funds in our account.

Thanks for the quick reply Smiley How long does clearing a payment usually take?

that will depend on your bank, i think.

I tried assigning a reservation at the router for my sp10 ip address but when it resets it still gets a new ip address for the sp10.  Is there a reason the saved button doesn't work on the UI.  Thanks.

Please let us know what happens. I have to statically configure a couple SP10's tomorrow for someone and would need that function to work.
Thanks.

Also, what is the default root password when logging in with an SSH client? I know the webUI you use admin/admin but I may need to log into the shell.

Congrats on selling out of the SP10's. I was a too slow on the draw! Smiley

ssh is root/root

Why not assign the IP based on MAC address?

No DHCP server. Has to be manually configured.
Also, does using the command passwd work so you can change the root password while in the shell?
Thanks again.

I just want to say when I first heard about the SP10 I thought it looked great and from the comments about it, it is really reliable. It really does seem to be a professional piece of kit. However I haven't purchased yet mainly because I couldn't see a good return with the risk of maybe delays in the shipping and I only buy miners that can be instantly delivered. however since people have got their miners on time I now know spondoolies is a reliable company.

Now today I look and see there is a preorder again, but then when I think about it, it will probably ship quicker than some other companies that advertise immediate shipping. and then I look at the price, its $1925 per TH now that is cheaper than a lot of other hardware and with a 40% increase in difficulty a month it will make a return in 3 months and still have a good profit window and with the rising price of bitcoin that ROI will come closer and closer.

So to sum up, spondoolies seems to be one of the most reliable and the more professional all in one mining company with prices that are extremely competitive. I think I might just have to order an SP10 or SP30 soon Smiley

thanks for there being a company like this.

Interesting - I'm an IT guy so router is not an issue. I can reach it with my 3rd connection.

Coming from 71.218.197.x - 404
Coming from 168.200.2.x - 404

Coming from 67.6.140.x is working for me

Please email support@spondoolies-tech.com with your full IP addresses, so we could check the matter with Shopify.

that will depend on your bank, i think.

True, but since EU switched to SEPA there should a standard transaction time between banks right? At least I think so. Either way, hopefully the transaction will be confirmed tomorrow Smiley

I should imagine it will be, yes, I cashed out a few BTC worth of € from kraken last night to pay some bills and it hit my bank this afternoon - normally, it's a couple of hours, so this xfer was actually quite slow by normal standards.

Anyhoo, you'll see when the money is over because it'll show fulfilled in your spondoolies order status when you log in. f5 is your friend lol

I tried assigning a reservation at the router for my sp10 ip address but when it resets it still gets a new ip address for the sp10.  Is there a reason the saved button doesn't work on the UI.  Thanks.

If assigning static IP from the miner WebUI and it has the firmware with experimental Wifi, it updates the eth0 cfg file incorrectly and puts the Gateway IP under the wifi IP settings, where it should put the static gateway address  under both eth0 and wifi.

I don't know if that was an issue for setting static IPs for you or others but with the Wifi firmware but some of my May batch miners had that firmware by default and it had to be updated to the non Wifi firmware to set the static correctly via webui.  Otherwise it did not have the route to connect "out".

The file could also have been manually edited by using SSH but if the WebUI of that firmware is used and the static address are changed again from there it will overwrite the settings changed through SSH.

I'm sure they fixed that little glitch in the latest firmwares as it is literally just one single line that has to be added in the code to correct that.

So a lot of people are asking about the noise of the SP10.

I made a quick video of SP10 doing its magic. That's bitcoin sound you are listening to:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__crNsd7GEM

This is not the right noise.
The correct noice is much much more worse.

Yesterday I sold my SP-10 2600 EUR, and bought  BTC .  Today I bought 2.92BTC another Antminer S2 , which is  back in bitmaintech stock.  When I get a new 400USD coupon, I buy another one.

A two Antminer S2 today in the hand is worth two SP15s in the "september shipping bush".

Congratulations on your success!  I'm very satisfied with my SP-10, and am looking forward to great new innovations from you in the future (SP-15, SP-30, and perhaps the next-generation SP-50 - a 10TH/s beast on 20nm chips with the same power draw as the SP-30)

EDIT: The SP-50 is a fictitious product that I have made up (but hope sees the light of day) and in no way represents Spondoolies-Tech product pipeline Smiley

Congrats SP-Tech!

Jonnybravo0311 there won't be an SP-15 I'm afraid. It seems that people aren't interested in small miners anymore. As for the SP50 I expect at least 4x more hashrate than the SP30 and at least same power as SP30. The hashrate jump would equal the one from SP10 to SP30.

I also congratulate SP, your professionalism on these boards and by email is a joy after all the rubbish companies we have previously had to deal with.

As to the SP15, there would be a market for it if it was available shortly I think it was the wait time that killed it, if they go ahead and build them I am sure they will sell.

With lots more suppliers out there now, the age of pre-orders is drawing to a close (hurrah), as much as it's a risk for companies, building and shipping from stock (or short wait) it is going to be the only way going forward.

totally agree with all your points, including the congratulations that Sp-Tech deserves. Here's what I can see regarding pre-orders...
SP-Tech have assured there is no risk in pre-ordering the SP30, and going by past performance (short time though it may be) I see it as a safe bet.
I'm also over the moon that their Gen3 are not going to be pre-order, and the honest reasons are given by SP-Tech without a thought to competition are to be applauded.

I can admire a company who hold this much confidence in the expertise of their people and in their actual product, and, has to be said... market leaders; for a long time to come.
So, yeah, forward is the only way - i've been screwed over too many times and gathered too many wrinkles in my head to take on a pre-order that doesn't look solid and feasible. Sp-Tech are indeed; solid and feasible. I sleep well knowing any investment I make in Spondoolies, is a safe one.

ok missed this memo? no pre-order at all..ie equip on hand to ship from day 1 or pre-order in the sense how spondoolies has been doing  tape out done and 4-6 wks max?

Well I captured the video with my mobile - as you realize it's very hard to show people noise level from a video.
People can just turn volume up/down.

Any suggestions to reshoot this are more than welcome.

Solid logic.

I'd also highly recommend preordering from knc, avalon, and bfl. Because we all know that if a company has shipped asics before, it's totally safe to preorder.

Sure there is massive unnecessary risk and it is unlikely to pay off considering almost all preorders end up shipping late/underperforming hardware when in stock hardware is cheaper.

And sure you probably won't be refunded in the case of catastrophic failure but you should take the risk anyways because it totally sounds like a great deal.

SP-30 is a good deal.

But I do not pay so much for things that have already been sold cheaply - SP-30 group buy

I look forward to Antminer S3, which will be sold in a few months.

Should not be ignored - S2 is Upgradable
All AntMiner S2 and S2 kit will be adapted to the Hash Boards with next generation chips. Clients can freely choose the upgrade version Hash Boards to replace the ones in hands.

So I buy only new blades for S2
