I'm not from U.S. but I've read an article that Biden and Harris would run for re-election. But as news are showing, his term approval rate is low and is continuously falling on his 12th month as a president of U.S. I cannot really tell. What I am seeing at this moment from my country's end us that their currency is still strong unlike ours wherein its value continues to fall or to be behind other currencies right after the election was finished. Wether Kanye would continue his vision of running as president for people of U.S or not, I just hope U.S. won't suffer what we are currently experiencing in my country.  So with regards on betting, I'd probably not bet on this one since I'm not yet aware of the choices as well as odds. I might ask my friends in U.S. if my interests gets high.

The Democrat establishment would like to have Kamala Harris as their nominee in 2024, but then the voters may give a thumbs down. Harris is considered as more radical left, when compared to Biden, who is a moderate. Harris may suffer a washout in swing states such as Nevada and Florida. But the problem is that Biden will be almost 82 years when the POTUS election takes place next time. Already he is showing signs of fatigue and I am not sure whether he will be the right choice for the president of the United States, for the period of 2024-28.

If I am honest.... I would rather want to see Kamala Harris having an opportunity to be President of the United States. She is level headed and she comes from humble beginnings and she went through the ranks.

I agree with you that both Biden and Trump are not ideal candidates for the 2024 presidential election. I would not be placing a bet on either of them right now. Joe Biden is way too old and Trump is more concerned on how he looks on TV than actual politics. Just imagine how much worth the condition of Joe Biden will be in 3 or 4 years, it's not going to get better for him. I do like the memes we got from Trump and now from Biden, but imagining they are voice of reason in these troubling times doesn't comfort me. The best would be for both of them to step aside and make room for younger candidates. Kamala Harris would be one option, but I would only place a small bet on her at the moment. The democrats did fine in the US senate elections with all the crisis going on. It remains pretty even between the two parties and it will come down to who is making the better election campaign. A bit too early in my opinion to place any larger bets for the election in 2 years.

Why did people ever think Biden will stand down, because of age but the whole country has a bias towards older age groups so he is perfectly representative.   Its never down to one person to lift the whole burden of the administration anyway only direct which despite criticism he is still able, I dont even agree with half what he chooses to do but I believe its still his own decision to do so.   The whole stand down thing, never was credible imo though I guess it weighed in with enough people to matter.

Its not likely without regaining the diversity of returns across the whole electoral collage, due to the whole inflation dynamic it cant be ruled out.  Personally I dont think he makes the nomination, Bush Snr. didnt run again did he so who has and won?

Wow it's hard to pick one of them because I feel like both candidates that run for presidency are bad. Joe Biden is too old to stay in that chair. Donald Trump on the other hand is one time loser. I am more towards Trump this time because I feel like some Americans may regret to pick Biden in last voting. Trump is younger than Biden and he has huge fanbase compared to Biden. If we won't hava Kamala surprise I would bet on Trump.

It's funny that in the last election, some voters voted for Biden only to prevent Trump from getting their vote. In this election, many voters (and some of the same voters) will vote for Trump only to prevent Biden from getting their vote 
Biden has not become a popular president and often shames himself by acting like an old man with dementia. But in general, I don't know who will win the election, because in the US the Electoral College system and the president is determined by them and not by a simple majority of votes.

I see Ron DeSantis having a real change.

Trump has a loud fan base but he isn't endorsed by fox or other republicans anymore and the candinates he just endorsed while ago didn't do so well. That says something.

There are no real other serious Republican candinates that i know of. Which is probably good for DeSantis

From the Democrats, i would wish that Pete Buttigieg would win as he seems smart and capable as hell. But i guess i couln't rely on majority of americans voting for the smart one. Could be the opposite.

Ton of people seem to fear the age of Biden and stuff that comes with that and for a good reason i suppose, but at the same time they are not that bothered that Trump is only around 3 years younger. Which is weird. How ever i can't see that much changes for either for them and really hope that neither of them wins.

Harris seems like an obvious choice for democrats to choose, but i don't think she would do that well.

So if i had to bet i would bet on DeSantis and hope he wouldn't win. But if he did at least i would get some money out of it.

second round, this time there are not many cases of covid so the elections will take place as usual, with that whoever loses will have no reason to complain. But I wonder: is Biden too old for a second term? Is it not an exaggeration for him to run for the second term? honestly if trump runs again against biden he will win this time, biden doesn't stand out much, not even in this war in ukraine he is very invisible, i'm not from the US, but i think binden would lose. Democrats will need to make a lot of effort if they put Biden to run, but if they put another candidate it could also go wrong, it could give the image that Biden is old and needs to be replaced, so people will ask why they put him there in the first term knowing he was old? trump would take advantage of that.

There is a big chance that Kamala could end up being the president this or next term if Biden keeps going. It's easy to just see her as the president even right now, because Biden doesn't look like he is really making any sensible sentences when he speaks, how could he be the ruler right now.

However, democracy is not like that, the president doesn't really have any power, USA is a true democracy and that’s why people love it so much. Which means, you gotta have the supreme court, and a lot of courts undernearth to make good decisions.

Just look abortion situation, dems controlling house, dems tied at senate with kamala breaking the tie, dems have the vice president and the president, all the power in their hands and abortion was still made state rights during their period because supreme court was appointed by republicans. So it doesn't matter who wins, as long as they end up with no total power.

Probably the Democrats also understand that Biden has no chance in a fair fight, so they are trying to remove Trump by legal means. By the way, there was some kind of case that Trump allegedly took secret documents from the White House to his home, as I understand it (like many accusations against him) ended in nothing? Given the fact that there were many questions in the sense of honesty for the previous elections, I cannot predict who will win - maybe the Democrats will again be able to move their candidate forward with the help of tricks.

Only once before has a defeated President stood for re-elelction (and lost).

According to oldest.org Joe Biden is the oldest, Trump second oldest, followed by Ronald Reagan third  then William Harris the fourth oldest President at the time of their first inauguration.

In two years time if Trump were to be re-elected, he would be just five months younger than Joe Biden when he was first elected.

Then what?

Two years further on (four years from now) the same people who are now saying Joe Biden is too old would have to look at Trump and admit he too is too old.  They can't have it both ways.

Before learning about Trump's age, I honestly thought he was around 55-65, I was surprised he is about the same age of my grandfather. He does not look old, in my opinion.
Besides, I think that people say that Biden is old and similar things because he seems to have cognitive problems, which is unfortunate, specially because it has become a political narrative.

I still believe that the GOP is going to nominate Ron DeSantis instead of Donald Trump. Else, they are going to lose the 2024 POTUS elections and radical left Kamala Harris will be the president of the United States. Trump has his own fanbase of loyal supporters, but that alone will not win him elections. He needs to win the independent voters. And this section has drifted further away from the GOP ever since Trump took charge. Trump has zero chance of winning swing states such as Georgia, Arizona, Nevada and Pennsylvania.

There is a long time between now and then and I doubt that Biden's faculties will allow him to run again, just as I doubt that the Republican party will re-elect Trump as long as he has a decent primary challenger, otherwise it would be suicide in my view.

If Biden behaved adequately, then no one would talk about age even if he was 90 years old. But he often looks into the void, goes in an incomprehensible direction and behaves like an old man who is lost. At the same time, Trump is behaving very cheerfully. This difference has been noticeable to everyone in recent years, so part of the voters will not vote For someone, but rather Against the fact that a person with dementia is the president.
In general, it would be good (for American voters) if they had a wider choice, including younger candidates.

People who dye their hair often seem younger and good hair is signaling vitality, and vitality is signaling competence etc. And trump has definitely put lot on effort on looks and prestige, and believes that if he delivers himself as believing he is smart, some people would believe him if he was persistent and aggressive enough about it.

Other ways to do this being arrogant enough and not only demand attention in conversations but take it. So much it's pretty much all me-me look at me and my brilliance, because he understands that screen time is everything and some people who totally believe what he says because no suit has acted like that ever in tv. This is one of the reasons why he seems so insecure of someone taking the spotlight, he is losing if they don't watch.

Now that people have learned that this is what he is aiming at, there isn't as much spotlight for him and he can't dominate the media by trolling. Meaning that he will probably won't make very far this time.

Is Donald Trump still the ideal candidate for the Republican or even to vile for the seat of the United States president. I mean, his administration came with complications and resentments and even more was met with ugly critics after he vacated the  office. Americans on the forum from the few threads I've seen to have highlighted Donald Trump with comparison to the weak hands of Biden, most prefer Biden and view Trump to be more of an irrational leader, obsessed with his own ideas.

After his twitter account got suspended i literally haven't read anything he says. Back then it wasn't an option to not read his tweets like daily.
But maybe i haven't heard about him now because i live in Europe and we have more important things to talk about the us presidental elections. And in US he gets screen time that isn't shown in here.
