Trying to understand the difference between getting government support and getting political. If you put bitcoin into government discussion that's fine, you can definitely go ask the entire congress and that would be a bipartizan question and hopefully they will accept it.

But trying to put it in elections is different, and not the same thing at all. If you make bitcoin an election thing, then it is going to hurt a lot and I would suggest not doing that at all, it would not benefit anyone and I think it is going to be a big cause of loss.

We need to make sure that we are dealing with something that is actually profitable and for that to reach 8 billion people we need to consider governments and not consider elections. If you consider elections, you are taking sides and taking sides will not make 8 billion people accept it. If you make this a right vs left type of thing, you will win one of them and lose the other and that is why I think it is not going to be good at all.

I truly don't understand why in many speeches that shared on X, why Kamala Harris smiled like a psycho, and lost control. I don't like this style and it shows she is not serious with her speech as well as her main job. I am more surprised and don't understand people who can support her if they are not illegal undocumented immigrants who went through the USA. recent years with terrible open border from Kamala.

Never underestimate the benefits of Trumps most loyal followers also be the least educated.

Trump has good abibility to convert disadvantage to advantage and he should not be underestimated especially when the USA. societies have many hot problems from poor policies of Biden and Harris last fiur years.

They will have a debate tomorrow without audience, and honestly it is a dead debate. Is there any non-audience debate in USA. President Election history?

I agree with you that if Trump wins, NATO will be weaker if it doesn't meet his demands and Ukraine will be in more trouble if he stops aid. But don't forget Trump's goal is to make America great again, so if anyone tries to oppose or influence America's position, he will not tolerate it and that is something Putin does not like.
We all know that in Trump's previous term, he was very tough on foreign policy with countries that were considered to be America's rivals, which is why I think many politicians in other countries did not want Trump to win.

Donald Trump is an admirer of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Both of them have the same ideologies in many areas. If given the opportunity Trump would have wanted to enjoy a long tenure like Putin. That was why he encouraged his supporters to invade the Capitol. Both leaders don't support the  LGBTQIA+ community. Both of them are religious and conservative so both LGBT abortion laws will be strict.

Trump once boasted that he would have needed the war in Russia/Ukraine in one day. Maybe his strategy is to withdraw support for Ukraine and make them lose some part of their territories. Maybe he would have spoken with his friend Vladimir persuading him to withdraw. But one thing I know is that NATO will suffer if Trump wins and Putin will be pleased with that. So if you ask, I will say that Putin fully supports Trump.   

Maybe it is as you say, at least it looks like that, I even noticed it myself, but despite this I have some doubts that everything is so superficial. I still remember how I saw their handshake on TV when Trump was in his last presidential term, it meant that the relations between the countries would probably become warmer, but after a while with the arrival of the Democrats and Biden, the relations became colder than ever. Of course, I wonder who will win and whether it will be reflected as we think, but if Trump wins, then I also think that he will cut aid to Ukraine, after all, some taxpayers would not like their money to be spent like that, although also not everything is so clear and much more complicated than it may seem to many.

I was very surprised by Putin's answer that he was more rooting for Harris to win. This is very strange, and Trump, like me, was disappointed.
After all, everyone knows that Harris is not going to end the conflict in Ukraine, on the contrary, she is ready to support them, as Biden does. And before that, I thought that Putin was for Trump, because he even expressed respect for the President of Russia.

That's no brainer. Putin knows that his endorsement will have a negative effect on voting results, so he said he prefers Kamala. Obviously he truly prefers whoever is more likely to end the war and support the peace agreement, which is probably Trump, although I wouldn't be so sure.
I'm not sure what's the average American's sentiment towards the war in Ukraine though. Since the US is not directly involved, I imagine people are probably not bothered too much.

Within a few years, the Americans will be unable to fund their massive military apparatus and it will start to disintegrate. And this will make the US vulnerable to a combined attack from the Russia-China axis.

This is what others don't understand. They've just heard that Trump said something about Bitcoin or let's say Harris talks about it, they're already thinking that the person speaks about it is on grandstanding.

That's how it goes when it's being used for election because for obvious reasons, it's only about the election and that's true that it will hurt a lot of people that has expected something about their moves towards it when elected.

You forget the United States is governed by politicians while are at the same time funded by big corporations, those corporations would not want the country to become vulnerable to foreign attacks coming from both China and Russia. Not even mentioning the fact China depends much on their production to be bought by American consumerism.
Kamala Harris can say whatever she wants during the campaign to try to grab as many votes as possible from gullible people, but in the end, in order to pass a law, you need to defeat both the house of representatives and the Senate, unlikely to happen.
People will never see that tax on unrealized gains with good eyes, regardless whether they are from the Republican or democrat party. People forget there is a lot of capitalists within the blue party as well.

This thinking needs to change if you ask me. Why does a megaforce like BTC need political support all of a sudden? It has proven time and time again that government support isn't necessary for the crypto world to keep surging forward and going mainstream.

The whole point of crypto was to reduce the dependence on politicians and world governments to a certain extent and not the opposite.

This world is a centralized and government controlled world and bitcoin is a part of this world, you need to accept this fact. Bitcoin has been able to survive and thrive so far thanks to government support, don't deny that. Do you use a bank to invest in bitcoin? Do you use the internet?...all of these are controlled by the government. Or can exchanges operate without government permission? Or most recently, how can bitcoin ETFs be approved without government permission? What if the government bans bitcoin? Of course, it won't die but do you think it will become popular and thrive with government bans? Governments are present everywhere in this world.

In the past, Bitcoin was small and governments didn't want to pay attention to it, but as it became more mature, it was inevitable that they would pay more attention to it. They care about it and will see if it benefits them or poses a threat to their world, these things are inevitable, it's just a matter of time, mate.

Do you want bitcoin to become a global currency, payment method or 8 billion people in the world using bitcoin? Or will bitcoin's market capitalization surpass gold and play a role in the world economy? How will all this happen without government support?

You are not a newbie here, you have been around for a while and you should be remembering the time when we weren't getting any political support and there weren't any regulations and bitcoin was doing awesome, there isn't really anything that has ever upset anyone before that, and I think it should be important to keep that in mind as well. I believe that the best thing to do in this case would be just getting rid of politics in bitcoin, bitcoin can't be political.

People like Trump and El Salvador president could use bitcoin for their political agenda, there is nothing wrong with that, it's the people who support these politicians who shouldn't really make it political. Meaning that Kamala supporters should love bitcoin too, trump supports should love it to, everyone should love it. If you make it just one side story, then other side may start to dislike it and we can't afford to make people dislike it, there is no reason for it and we need to cover all bases.

Taking a look at polymarket to decide who will win is a very stupid way of making this decision. Kamala wasn't the candidate for the longest time and she didn't get the money for it, whereas Trump has been around for far longer than Kamala, for months and months longer, and he even had a debate against Biden as well, and yet we are talking about them having equal chances there? The system at polymarket works like this; whoever gets more money bet on them, has the higher chance. So that means, if I bet 150 million dollars on Kanye today, that means Kanye will have bigger chance of winning over both candidates, it's literally made that way.

Do not go with market maker betting places if you want to see what is going to happen in this election. All the polls and all the oddmakers are showing Kamala ahead right now, and with the debate, we are going to definitely see this happening very differently, we are going to see Kamala get a lot further ahead after this one for sure.

I watched the whole thing and from my point of view it was hilarious. Though i am not so sure how trump voters feel of him going full weird trump on the air.

Kamala showed clearly how easy it is to manipulate him, and trump was unable to control his emotions. Even hinting about his crowd size triggered Trump going off the rails and ranting how how immigrants are eating our dogs and cats, and how babies were aborted after birth. Even moderators had to comment that "there is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it’s born.”.

It was insane and i totally get why the polls moved. Both were asked equally hard questions and while Kamala avoided at least one of them, trump avoided all of them. He mainly wanted to speak about illegal immigrants. Kamala was so clear winner on this. If you don't believe me, watch the full debate from youtube.

Also after debate Kamala was endorsed by Taylor Swift, so that's probably to odds too.

In the end all that matters is how many people show up to vote in the election day, and the number of valid votes for each candidate.

Well, in the US it is a bit more complicated than that as they have a more complex vote counting system, which can result in a president elected with less than 50% of the votes of the country.

I didn't watch the debate live but based on the quotes I've seen online afterwards it seems that it was a disaster for Trump. We'll see how it affects the election. I don't think many people would change their vote at this time though.

Hi, I wasn't referring to whether or not there was going to be a debate on Fox, in fact I didn't know there had been any controversy about it. What I was referring to is that as Fox is biased towards the Republican party and Trump, the fact that one of their commentators said that Trump was weak in the debate is not being highlighted by them, but by another channel. And I don't think they, Fox, are emphasising that Trump was weak, even if one of their commentators said it at one point.

The next debate that was planned after this 2nd debate was cancelled with both from the team of Trump and the team of Kamala being in agreement of the cancellation. If there are mentions of another debate, this is certainly fake news.

This debate was the decider of who will be the next president of America and it very much appears that this will be Kamala Harris. Trump's only chance to get the lead again on the polls and the surveys will be an economic recession that will cause more than 50% of the voting population to choose the republican than continue with the economic policies of an ally of Biden.

None of them will ever show the complete picture. They are only meant for reference sake. Currently, Harris definitely seems to be in the front if you are being objective and looking at the overall picture.

An economic recession within the next few weeks doesn't seem possible to me, but who knows. Time will tell.
