I have added the following services for CLAM to my webiste.
Explorer: http://blocks.luckyalt.com:3003
Dice: http://www.luckyalt.com/clamcoin
Faucet: http://www.luckyalt.com/clamcoinfaucet

Please ensure that you are building the correct version of the CLAMclient and have a working block chain for your services.
The block data appears to be incorrect on the explorer linked.

Dice and faucet are updated correctly. The explorer though is having issues.

I can likely help you with the changes, I'm just not sure how to implement them myself.   I know what needs to be changed for it to work.

You can catch me on our irc channel, I'm always there.  I would love to help you get it running correctly!

I'm working on Abe sense no one has seems to be able to get it running.   No, there is no others. Clams has a few things that make block explorer adaption difficult.

if its not up soon I'll put rpcace back online

The new website is live @ CLAMclient.com!

There are almost certainly various inaccuracies and problems; please let us know if you find any problems Grin

Looking pretty good!

It could stand a spellcheck:

* transfered, transfering, consesus on http://clamclient.com/#/introduction-to-clams/

* COMLETE on http://clamclient.com/#/development-plan/

Edit: http://clamclient.com/#/technical-info/ says:

Quote
Current Supply = 150,000(Nov 20 estimate)

I recently added code to the client to accurately track the supply. As of right now:

    "moneysupply" : 14897649.13048927,
    "digsupply" : 101306.20991278,
    "stakesupply" : 123247.72641731,
    "activesupply" : 224553.93633009,

So your estimate is quite a bit too low.

* "activesupply" is digsupply + stakesupply, where:

* "stakesupply" is the amount created by staking (including lottery wins) and should go up by 1 CLAM per minute on average now.

* "digsupply" is the amount claimed by people "digging up" distribution CLAMs and so it should always be an exact multiple of 4.60545574 - and indeed it is:

>>> 4.60545574 * 21997
101306.20991278

21,997 addresses have dug up their free CLAMs so far.

Edit2:

"Minimum Stake Age: 8 Hours"

That's 4 hours, and 500 blocks, whichever takes longer. 500 blocks should take 8 hours 20 minutes, but can take a lot less in certain circumstances.

Edit3:

"Proof-Of-Stake has 1% annual return"

The return is 1 CLAM per minute. That's 526k per year. That's 1% of 53 million, so this figure is clearly wrong.

526k per year is 3.53% of the total money supply, and 234% of the active (staked + digged) supply:

>>> 60*24*365.25 / 14897662.13048927 * 100
3.5304868333909942

>>> 60*24*365.25 / 224571.54178583 * 100
234.20598879870496

Indeed, currently the daily return is 0.64% on active CLAMs:

>>> 60*24 / 224571.54178583 * 100
0.6412210507835864

Creativecuriosity gives me all the credit for the new website but she's put at least much time into as I have Smiley Also, thanks to the rest of the dev team for your patience in helping me to explain technicalities in simple everyday language.

Dooglus, the errors that you pointed out have been corrected. I especially like your frequent references to certain segments of code that correspond to CLAMs specs, such as in your previous posting regarding minimum stake age. I think that including such links throughout the site is a great way to provide easy access to more detailed technical info without intimidating less technical newcomers. So I will continue adding more such links to code in future.

My present vision for the website = one size fits all, because we currently only have the resources to focus on one website.

As the general public begins to grasp the profound implications of blockchain technology, there shall be a massive influx of newcomers into the cryptocurrency community. A website that's inviting to the general public gives everyone the opportunity to realize what makes CLAMs great.

At the same time, we still want more advanced members of the tech community to take us seriously. Silly videos and playful descriptions of CLAMs are great, but that information needs to be fully embedded with links to advanced info.

This may seem obvious, but looking at the websites of other cryptocurrencies, maybe not.

I am of course just one member of the CLAMs community and this is my opinion. My work on the website will of course always reflect whatever directions we choose to move as a group. User bayareacoins has recently registered the domain clamsfoundation.com, which I hope will be an important next step in the evolution of the CLAMs.

Long Live the Great CLAM!!!!

Long Live the Great CLAM!!!!

If and when you need it just holler.

I left the .org one open for more serious folks and will of course redirect it to the .org or will hand it over as needed.

Which ever way y'all deside to play the cards.

I personally would really like to see a automated site where people could donate their old priv keys and those CLAMS are converted to canned food or something.

Quote
CLAMS are accumulated one of four ways. The classic route of Buying/Selling at an exchange, and Mining and staking. And also Proof of Pearl

Small correction:

There was a proof-of-work (mining) stage at the very beginning, but that was only to create the initial coinbase that was given to the existing 3 million btc/ltc/doge addresses. After the giveaway the network switched to proof-of-stake and the remaining mined coins were used to stake blocks until enough people "dug up" their clams that the network could sustain itself. At that point all the leftover mined coins were burned.

So today there are 3 ways of getting clams: buy, stake, dig - mining (proof-of-work) is no longer an option.

Although "buy" really includes "earn, receive-as-donation, win, etc." just like it does for BTC.
