1801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SQUID GAMES TOKEN CRASHES on: November 02, 2021, 10:21:19 AM

Here in my country, it is quite popular actually. Just imagine those recently popular TV shows to be turned out into a coin, not the all-time popular but just recently popular. I was surprised that Bird Box series back in 2018 did not even get a coin and it was like hell of a trend when it first landed, now it is just a rubble to be rewatched by some who didn't manage to join the hype.
1802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SQUID GAMES TOKEN CRASHES on: November 01, 2021, 07:49:20 PM
I was about to look here in Altcoin Discussion board when I read it in my News Feed. I already expected it, since it is like one of those coins that tend to follow the trending stuffs right now, not just from books but also from these series or even movies. I feel bad for those who were holding it for the longer terms.  I am not sure if the series ended, since I do not hear any news from it lately but from some coins to be made out of it just seems absurd.

I didn't expect that people here in our country would even buy the hype. I guess after the hype from NFTs, this also made them think that it would yield them a lot of profits. Quite right that those who are looking for quick bucks are just going to go into shitcoins.
1803  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaigns on: November 01, 2021, 12:09:30 PM
In case OP is looking for a list of campaign managers as well, s/he could check out this thread made by Ratimov. It is the most recent one I could find, and it is a bit outdated since some closed their service, so please check first the thread of each users if they are still actively managing campaigns.

I would say the same that Hhampuz is a great campaign manager. I was a participant back in 777Coin Campaign which he previously managed. Right now, I am also participant in one of his campaign as well which is Roobet.

Just contribute on what you can and don't overcomplicate it, OP.  Just because a contribution does not get noticed that much does not mean that it is not a contribution.

Please don't be offended, OP but I feel like you are chasing on what can raise your rank faster on the last two lines you wrote inside your assumptions as what lovesmayfamilis mentioned.
More merits or not, if it contributes to the forum, just do it.
1805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you actually using/buying NFT's, and Gaming Tokens? on: October 31, 2021, 02:00:01 PM
It is kind of weird that NFTs are really still going strong right now. People here in my country are all hyping all those SLPs from Axie for some reason. Heard that it pumped a lot quite a while so yeah I heard a lot from my colleagues wanting me to buy now, but I ain't buying the hypes now. I guess the NFT games brought so much interactivity than people that are just seemingly wanting to hold their coins like me.

I am just here going to hold into my Bitcoin, regardless. Cheesy

I don't really agree on some part in #3. Even mentorship alone ain't going to lead you really far, as well as what you previously mentioned (books and all those resources online). You need a real experience for that and mentorship itself won't really cut it, so I disagree about that.
I learned day trading just by watching Youtube videos, and I learned about Bollinger Bands and RSI without any mentorship. I just kind of screwed up as a newbie, but it was enough for me to get started.
1807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason for bitcon flash drop. on: October 29, 2021, 08:01:23 PM
"Plunges" is kind of an exaggerated word. Right now is just went back up to 60k+, so are we now calling it surge immediately? It is Bitcoin just being Bitcoin, aside from the ETF as others mentioned above. It is not even something worth discussing right now.
The price moves and the news goes crazy over it.
1808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coin craze on: October 29, 2021, 07:54:22 PM

Well of course. It is just all hypes obviously and I am not sure why would some people expect something like that to be something for a long-term to root for. After that supposed "exchange listing", it is almost always just go dry overnight. I never made any attempt to join meme coins, as I am a long-term holder nor I care about those coins really if they get reported a lot in crypto news which is almost often when I tend to scroll down in Facebook.

Well searching "Naruto Inu" led me in this page. Not sure why people think that these coins are worth losing your money for, but I am just curious on the reasoning.
I watch anime, but I was never fan of that anime lol. Doge and Shiba were the popular coins that I know that are meme, but I never expected that a lot will still follow.

I recall the thread that you had created where you were asking the tools that can further help you do your stuffs like detecting plagiarism. Well I must say congratulations, OP.
Everyone contributes in their own ways, so don't worry about it.  Smiley

Edit: It was this thread: Need Help And Good Direction
Congratulations again, OP. Smiley
1811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Proof that airdrops never work ... on: October 28, 2021, 08:26:42 PM
I mean I never heard of somebody like "check it out guys, I earned a lot in this free airdrops". Especially in the middle of this pandemic where people are into money right now, these are pretty much just going to go south almost always. If it wants you to go through a lot of stuff like share, tweet or the worst, sign up, then it is probably a scam.
I don't believe in such free money giveaway anyways.

I remember back in my high school days that one my teachers taught us about the "digital self". It is basically how they show their persona when it comes to being in online world. Funny enough, there are those straight dudes posing as an anime girl in the online world just to have the attention from some other people for obvious reasons. There are those also posing as keyboard warriors, but behind the monitor, they are just thin-skinned individuals crying over small stuffs while the Internet is just being the Internet. Cheesy
1813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks either adapt or face death on: October 28, 2021, 06:15:48 PM

Well yeah kind of. Either way regulation is somehow inevitable when adoption happens, since surely the government will pick up that there is another existing method of how people do their transaction/s.
Here in my country, it is not that adopted too much, but the government are starting to pick up about NFTs being popular and being a source of income by some people starting from August this year. Cheesy
1814  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you differentiate good Airdrops from bad ones? on: October 28, 2021, 02:07:08 PM

Well to think of it, even outside crypto it happens.
Those fake giveaways where you do entries in a certain site and would like you to share their page, join their discord, or follow them in Twitter. Most of those just ended up being nothing and I have never heard someone yet that they got this certain item from a giveaway by just sharing or boosting their audience.
It also happens in Youtube, now that many Youtubers are just hungry for revenue, but they don't care about their audience at all.
1815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the government expect from bitcoin legality? on: October 27, 2021, 08:17:34 PM
The government will want to find all means to make kyc mandatory so they can be able to know people that are making use of centralized platofrms so they can be able to tax accurately.
This is pretty much it.
Custodial wallets here in my country are quite strict when it comes to KYC especially when you are looking for a cash out from Bitcoin. They are sometimes doing video interview in cases of such large amount of money being cashed out of Bitcoin, since 1 whole coin pretty much makes one a millionaire in here.
1816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your strategy to carry on making money when Bitcoin turns bearish on: October 27, 2021, 08:14:50 PM
~
Thanks.
Realistically speaking, I just don't think of it as much of an issue. That Bitcoin will never be touched ever, excluding the BTC I earn though. The Bitcoin that I hold don't ever ever ever get touched.
How I earned when Bitcoin turns bearish? I continue in my own day and do my usual job outside crypto, and that is pretty much the answer. It is like asking how would I save my crops and grow more crops while it is drought season.

And no, I don't day trade. Not working with my schedule.
1817  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you differentiate good Airdrops from bad ones? on: October 27, 2021, 01:32:35 PM

I stopped in all of them, when one emailed me a phishing site to their fake MEW page, because they know that I was using MEW wallet. Good thing I smelled something fishy that time, because it is obviously off-putting when you visit the site aside from the fake domain name.
If the airdrop is too good to be true, then it probably is a scam.
1818  Economy / Reputation / Re: Do you think Lightlord behavior is acceptable? on: October 27, 2021, 01:16:28 PM

I am pretty sure he just misinterpreted that CBB is waiting for the escrow funds from Lightlord as "waiting for his payment" for his service of managing the campaign.
1819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are trading platforms useful? on: October 26, 2021, 06:21:59 PM
~
I have not used that trading platform yet, but it surely gave you a head start through the set of tools provided. As long as it does not ask for your bank card or any deposits for a fee, then you would be just fine, I guess. Both you and your friend seems to still learn about trading and you should not pay yet just like how some trading tutorials wants you to buy their courses. Smiley
1820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks either adapt or face death on: October 26, 2021, 06:16:33 PM

This is pretty much the answer.

I can recall wanting Bitcoin to be the global currency back in 2017, and I thought first as a newbie back then that it would be at least a good thing, so that means many adopters right? I was thinking of that until I realized that government would surely try to regulate it their way and I took back what I said back then. Cheesy
