1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about loans on the crypto space? on: April 20, 2022, 05:20:51 PM
I am not really a fan of it.... although I was never really a fan of anything that would involve borrowing money that are not even made by my own hard work or effort due to how unstable crypto price are. I do not want that one day, I would have to pay twice of the principal amount of I had borrowed and topped that with interest that are going to f me over throughout.

It  is still nice that there are such innovative stuffs like this happening in crypto though.

It is just another meme coin being hyped the crap out and nothing more. I am even seeing people some newer accounts here building a "shilled" reputation and people seemingly just take that bait and keep buying this coin over and over.
It even gave birth to plenty of this crappy variants.

They might not run away, but they become just worthless anyway over the progress of the life of the coin. There are plenty of them just staying in the market for no reason and screwing with newer investors. This is just why I just stick to Bitcoin ever.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new warning for iPhone and Apple product users on: April 19, 2022, 09:45:05 PM
Whenever I hear the word "cloud", I always steer clear any means to access my money from it. I won't even include my personal information to it, even if they claim that they do not access whatever you store there.

Always remember that if a platform is being managed or was coded by somebody, assume that you are willing to give them whatever you put it in there.
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounties dead? on: April 19, 2022, 09:41:40 PM

I had a certain user PM'd me on an earning platform that I would recommend. I guess I am really happy that there are some people willing to find a way to earn some bucks, unlike some people here that keeps milking the forum for money without even contributing to any stuffs around here. It is quite sad, but it happens.
Not sure where the modern bounty hunters are now, but I am sure they are looking for other means of source of income.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some projects are fated to doom? on: April 19, 2022, 09:22:27 PM

Actually no, there are many projects that just wanted money from investors and not how they value their services offered globally. Many projects tend to be just a copy-paste of another project for the said reason. If they are indeed hardworking and wanting to do business, they will do extensive research just to find out on what the people need these days and not on what they really needed to the core.
1307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'Squid Game' cryptocurrency scams $2 million on: April 19, 2022, 06:41:29 PM
Not sure what the point of the continuous discussion was, but this is already a dead coin. I am pretty sure people had already moved on from this overrated series and the memes are right now are focusing in Will Smith's slap for sure.

I forgot to mention that Will Smith's slap coin exists, lol.

I have been investing back then when I was still starting in crypto after my first purchase of Bitcoin. I wished I just stick to Bitcoin.
Many projects are just purely copy pasta of another existing project and that ain't going anywhere.
Don't even get me started about some meme coins, lol.
1309  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammer get scammed on: April 18, 2022, 09:17:28 PM
I just hope that this would be just another made up story, since you don't know how does it feel to get your funds held by someone even though you mentioned already that you returned the ETH.
People can be bilingual or that dude could have been just residing for now in Indonesia.
If I start living in Japan and I speak other languages, I hope you would not be the one that I would talk to.
1310  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tell people about bitcoin but don't force them to invest on: April 17, 2022, 08:52:21 PM
~
Well by even the first word "force", you would make it that you are going to be responsible of whatever happens to their money. Just having a small talk with investment would be great. Even encouraging them might be a stretch already, but at least you're still willing to share some good ways to earn some passive bucks behind the scene.
I do not want to force people to risk their money and sanity over something, since mental health would be kind of gamble also in any sorts of investment.
1311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are your coins really safe stored in your wallet? on: April 17, 2022, 08:47:10 PM

Well regardless, you would not want to let someone handle the safety of your coins. Maybe for the type of wallet, but not the exchange even DEX, the private key should be primarily be watched under your own supervision and not by any people.
I am not an old user even if I was here since 2017, but I am pretty sure that is a common thought already. I recall back then when I thought my coins are purely safe inside Binance, but then I realized that exchanges are hackackable.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any Bounty who is giving Big Reward. on: April 16, 2022, 09:09:29 PM
~
No. They are not worth it as just from what I read from the previous thread relating if bounties are even still breathing lately.
I could have said that you should check teams, background, etc etc, but those are generic shits and you might not even earn in all those bounties you joined assuming you're joining plenty of those.

Just do freelance data entry off-forum if you're really just going for the money. This is a forum not an earning platform.
1313  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NO RISK, NO REWARD on: April 16, 2022, 09:04:41 PM

To be honest, I was like that when I was still trying to get a peek on what crypto is all about. I also thought that cryptos were like something to be used by hackers considering that I learned that people from the deep web use that as a currency.
Good thing I was corrected by 2017, and I bought my first one in that year as well and yes it was a price boom, ngl.

Experience could also be a reality slap for one. It was me when I realize that day trading is not for me. Cheesy

As long as you don't really connect to the internet, there ain't much to be worried about. This is why I write the seeds and private key of my isolated wallet in a piece of paper and hide it in somewhere...private.
Just avoid web wallets or online wallets if you're genuinely concerned about your coins. Don't get that precious Bitcoin of yours get frozen by a third-party authorities just because they thought that you were doing money laundering. Cheesy
1315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all cryptocurrencies merged together? on: April 15, 2022, 09:24:47 PM
~
Even technically it won't be possible, I am not sure for the forks though as I am not really fan of those.
For price, it isn't just that easy to say that it would go by means of 100k.
From how many shitcoins are out there in the market, I have a feeling that it will bring Bitcoin down also.
1316  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be too greed for more gains.... on: April 15, 2022, 08:17:43 PM

Actually many people are thinking like that. It is similar to my experience when I was trying my day trading in crypto. Without me experiencing losses that day, I would not be able to know that I am not suited for day trading. I kinda learned still the technologies like RSI and Bollinger Band though.
It might not be directly that my experience in day trading kept me moving forward, but still I did not gave up in how can I earn at least in crypto. I just took another route in short which was going for long-term.

I guess coming from a Staff, I can see now. I have not read Bounties section for quite a while nor did have any awareness on how these bounties are doing anyway nor do I care as well. I do not want to get paid with shitcoins.
I wonder if there would be a time where lesser activities in the forum would happen due to that kind of scenario.
1318  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you tell your friends about your crypto achievements? on: April 14, 2022, 09:36:32 PM

It was my friends from the past.
After I hopped in college, I just found out that they were indeed back stabbing me about my crypto achievements. Good thing we separated ways already post-high school life.
I don't know where they are now, how they're doing lately or if they're trying to tail my ass due to how much I achieved in crypto, but I don't care. Cheesy
1319  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you tell your friends about your crypto achievements? on: April 14, 2022, 09:07:39 PM

Got you there, mate! They are going to say that they feel happy for you, but then will stab in the back and would just keep putting you down in crypto and say all the negativities from it. Good thing I don't really brag at them.
It's good to share strategies, but just tell them that it came from your own experience and it might go different at their end due to market dynamics.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounties dead? on: April 14, 2022, 05:26:17 PM

It's not that powerful of a strategy as it was before, eh? I can still recall back in 2017 when the bounties board almost get bombarded by newer projects every hour and it was almost a scam pit for the many as most of them turned out to be just an attempt to collect your data anyway.
It's a no-go just like airdrops now.
