2001  Other / Meta / Re: Little help with an abusive member: Vod - Self Proclaimed forum admin on: July 21, 2014, 12:22:04 AM
Hey Guys,

So I've been on this forum for quite a while. I've done nothing but honest business and done lots of trades here.

I decide to make a thread to see if any investors want to come in on a company of mine. Some asshat named Vod comes in, makes a bunch of assumptions and leaves me a red mark without any real reason other than his opinion is that my deal is not a good one to him.

That's clear and blatant abuse of the trust system here. I ask that everyone please go give him some red negative feedback to prevent him from continuing to do this to members unfairly. He solicited feedback from some high ranking escrow services and traders here so that he can ruin your rep to a lot of people when he leaves a mark. He doesn't even transact business here, he just goes around judging people. If you go through and see the people he's done this to, you can clearly see he's been at this for some time and most of it unfairly.

Let's get his account taken down a few notches so he can no longer do this to innocent people.

Please rate him down here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=30747

Link to the thread he's done this to me based off of: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=702233.new#new

I appreciate your help taking care of this jerk.

After viewing your left feedback, you have done exactly the same thing, several times to different people. Also, you are spamming Vod's feedback. You really need to close this thread and remove all your misguided feedback before starting a complaint against anyone for something you are guilty of as well. Trying to influence the masses to neg rep someone usually backfires in a big way.

I admit doing the same thing back to him. Ya, I was pissed off and since there's no regulation of abuse like that, it's the only option I saw. So, you're right, I'll remove it from his profile. It was done in anger back to him.

But it's only abuse when it's done to you, not when you do it? You left your "opinion" for a few users, same as Vod did to you.
You would be better served by locking this thread and trying to gain more positive Trust.

Gotta love it when the bleating, entitled, shameless and self righteous like to cherry pick "rules" when they obviously have not read said rules.
Squeaky wheel: No grease for you!
2004  Economy / Lending / Re: An absurd policy on: July 20, 2014, 12:56:48 PM
Firstly I have no interest in getting a loan!

I like to scan through the site and have been reading lots of topics of people offering loans demanding 120% collateral, while it is up to the lender to create the terms it just seems to be a risk free way to lend - I am of the understanding that it is the lender who should take the risk, hence why charging interest.

Just my (worthless) opinion.

 Smiley
120% collateral does not make sense, unless it is in the form of highly illiquid assets.

Often highly volatile coins or other risky items have been offered, hence 120%. OP, no one is forcing you or anyone to get a loan and the lender should NOT take all the risk or there will not be many lenders left. Look through the Scam section at the loan defaults.
You don't want to give 120% of a loan in collateral, (that you get back once loan is repaid), don't ask for a loan from that lender. Simple.
2005  Other / Meta / Re: Banned on: July 20, 2014, 12:16:13 PM
Look,I know it looks like this and I know I've made a mistake but I want just one more chance.nothing more.If this happens again I will be the first one to tell that my account should be banned. But that is all I want. Please understand me.I promise I will really change  the way I write and I will no longer make this insubstantial posts. But the account means a lot to me,as well as this community, believe me.I am not somebody who doesn't care at all.

Obviously, if you really cared, you wouldn't be in this position again. So no, I don't believe you.
2006  Economy / Lending / Re: Jenna's Microloans [No Collateral] =) on: July 20, 2014, 12:07:53 PM
Thanks but I do like to help others, I do a lot of volunteering with my free time anyways.
If you want to rip me off for $1 you probably have some real financial problems lol.

Thanks KWH, I changed it.

It still reads you WILL loan to newbies WITH collateral and this should require a third party escrow since you have no Trust.
2007  Other / Meta / Re: Banned on: July 20, 2014, 12:04:18 PM
Because I really want to contribute to the community and the account is valuable to me.

And you abused it continually. I don't see any reason you should be entitled to more chances. You didn't learn from the previous one.
2008  Economy / Lending / Re: Jenna's Microloans [No Collateral] =) on: July 20, 2014, 12:02:35 PM
But there isn't any collateral involved!

Your own quote:
Quote
I want to offer No Collateral micro loans to everybody but Newbies.
This can read you will offer collateral loans to newbies. If you are excluding newbies, then clear it up, such as:
"I want to offer No Collateral micro loans to everybody, Newbies need not apply."
2009  Economy / Lending / Re: Jenna's Microloans [No Collateral] =) on: July 20, 2014, 11:57:11 AM
Hi I'm Jenna,
I'm a 22 year old University Of Toronto student with a little bit of free time this summer and trying to raise money for this oncoming school year.

I want to offer No Collateral micro loans to everybody but Newbies.

My BTC address is: 184iJXhLEd6oa4eSwdjUEkbVLBztTjJ21h
Current BTC Balance to Loan: 0.01410845 BTC

I Charge 5% interest daily on the principal.

Please don't rip me off!

Thanks!

Don't forget the part where a third party escrow holds any and all collateral.
2010  Other / Meta / Re: Banned on: July 20, 2014, 11:52:56 AM
Ok guys, but I want one last chance. Why should my account be banned permanently when I'm not a spammer-I am telling you absolutely sincerely that I'm not here with that intentions and I have my account for enough time to prove it.I want one more chance because I feel I deserve it.If not,I will be really discouraged.

Because you "want" and you "feel" you deserve it? How so, please explain?
2011  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: (WTB) 0.9BTC with $600 Paypal. on: July 19, 2014, 11:46:46 AM
Hello Friends, I want to buy 0.9BTC with my $600 Paypal.

If you're being skeptical about Paypal, I will proof that I own my Paypal and I just withdrew it from my Fiverr earnings. I'll show screenshot/overview of it. No Chargebacks, payment will be sent via gift. I will also accept to send first to members with good feedback, or escrow with Newbie.

I'm looking forward to having a smooth trade on here as I want to build my reputation and establish myself as a trusted trader. I sometimes have Vanilla & MoneyPak, so I will also be exchanging them here soon.

Anyone who can do this should reply on this thread or PM me.

Paypal is too risky, it doesn't matter what proof of ownership you show.
2012  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB $100 Bitcoins on: July 17, 2014, 01:36:29 AM
Hey BitcoinTalk,

I'm looking to buy $100 worth of BTC. I will be paying with a verified business paypal. I don't chargeback as this will be money from my paypal account and not credit card. I can show proof via skype screenshare. Looking for a 1:1 rate. Please post here if you can do this or pm me. Thanks

Why not buy MoneyPak then buy BTC? Paypal is too high risk.

I'm scared. I still need to buy a laser off you. How do I know you are the person who will be getting my bitcoins and sending out the laser?

Why did you quote us? Are you telling me to PM him?

Read his post history.

I see nothing fishy in his post history. He did request a .3BTC loan, but other than that, it all seems good?

Really? Asking for loans, selling items and now selling his account doesn't look a little odd? I even posted as much on his thread. Either you didn't read the posts or you are extremely naive.

You are also trying to sell your account. Do you realize how shady all this looks?

I guess I have not exhausted all my options, my rig is mining capable I guess , as I recently acquired a 290X, but I'm more afraid of damaging my pc than anything else, but what I'm asking for is merely simple and can be paid back easily is a minor loan for a used drawing tablet to get my webcomic started , I had an old wacom 4 but since it broke and the site I had my old web comic on is no longer up, I have to start from scratch , I do have several things for collateral and or I can do art work  either or I draw in the anime style, I've seen pen tablets go for 60-150 used on ebay I've seen one in a pawn shop for 40 , but i didn't get in time

I don't need a new one per-say , or if someone you may know is selling one I would love to try and make a deal

if there is ANYTHING i'm leaving out , I'm pretty sure I did considering its 530 am and I have not been to bed yet please tell me

 Thank you

    warm regards
