2221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde on: November 29, 2022, 07:06:41 PM
I seldom see something like this

Beterbiev by KO/TKO   - 13 (100%)
Beterbiev by decision   - 0 (0%)
Yarde by KO   - 0 (0%)
Yarde by decision   - 0 (0%)
Draw   - 0 (0%)

but with this specific fight, this is 100% possible, a guy with a 100% knockout percentage against a guy who got knocked out from an aging warrior and with a jab to deliver it, Yarde talks about how things change and he is not the same Yarde that fought Kovalev, but what's the difference, he will still get busted.

Seeing this kind of poll is indeed rare but, in this fight, it is somehow expected that Beterbiev will have a landslide vote here in this forum just like how he will have a landslide victory here over this bigmouth Anthony Yarde who is talking that he can do this and that or how he improved throughout the years since he was defeated by Kovalev. I mean, really? It's unbelievable to see that he is still boasting despite of that fact.

So everybody is expecting the defending champion Artur Beterbiev with a 100% KO ratio to stop Anthony Yarde.

About Yarde's earlier loss to Kovalev, I think he would've performed better if he didn't dare to visit the former champion in his own backyard in Russia. Kovalev was already vulnerable at that time but he was fighting in front of his own countrymen. And Kovalev is heavy-handed too, so his jab is probably more powerful than just the normal jabs.

When I hear these 2 names, I always wonder what would've happened if Kovalev and Beterbiev met each other around 7 years ago. Maybe one of them failed to become a big star since the loser will probably suffer a big KO/TKO. Nonetheless, Artur Beterbiev wasted many years and opportunities when he was fighting in Canada. He never tried to enforce and seemed contented not fighting then Canadian and fellow Canadian-based champions/superstars whom he is very capable of winning.

2223  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency or start my business? on: November 26, 2022, 03:16:32 PM
But why not do both? Or are you trying to say that you will trade actively hence you cannot do both as it needs an ample amount of time? I suggest you start a business of your interest rather than trading. You can start a business and then invest long-term in the top and more stable cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.

Trading is not an easy job. Based on my experience and observation of people I know, in order to earn regularly in trading you need effort in technical skills and you also need to follow the news and trends. You also need the experience because every now and then some strategies aren't going to become effective forever. And besides, the risk of losing is always there and it might be too stressful for newbies to handle.
2224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hello Im trader i do binance futures trading see what i can Do here on: November 26, 2022, 02:54:47 PM
Not that I am interested to become a partner because I don't have the money to risk, but I am watching your call OP. I was thinking of trying it in spot trading but well I became busy and I stopped trading already. So until now, it didn't touch the stop loss but nor did it touch the take profit as well. I would've been holding around a 3% gain from your call. Although you are a futures trader, I already forgot what its fees look like every 24 hours but maybe you're still holding a slight gain for now.

Anyways, I don't expect you to get investors here unless some newbies find your thread earlier and became interested.
2225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Caleb Plant vs David Benavidez on: November 26, 2022, 02:23:53 PM
Yes, this is a done deal a few weeks already. David Benavidez is just waiting for anybody to fight him and it will be a done deal already. I am referring to his PBC stablemates Caleb Plant and Jermall Charlo who's been calling Canelo over the years but are scared to fight each other and to Benavidez. Benavidez is not a technical fighter like Plant and Charlo, but he is gifted with heavy hands, an iron chin and he is huge in his division. At 25 years old, this kid will have the strength and stamina to brawl for 12 rounds until its opponents cannot take it anymore. I am starting to like Plant but I believe Benavidez will stop him. Only the referee can make Plant survives the full 12 rounds if it allows him to grab, clinch and hug too much.
2226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: November 26, 2022, 01:11:03 PM
It is very legal in my country and in other countries as well. We even have designated cockfighting arenas for this kind of event in my country. Bets and prize pools range from thousands of dollars to millions because many rich people in my country including our politicians are into cockfighting as well.

I am not fond of this so-called sport. But I have real experiences since I have friends and even relatives that own roosters. Cockfighting is different OP. Our roosters are armed with very sharp blades capable of killing even humans (many died already). The first time I experienced betting on cockfighting was during the pandemic but it was only held in my friend's backyard. I've never seen an actual event held from a cockpit arena.

Personally, I prefer governments stop cockfighting. It isn't a sport because the losing cock has an 80% chance of being killed in action. I consider this an abuse of animals. We kill animals for food but we try to make it quick as possible.
2227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Excessive greed is detrimental to investment on: November 26, 2022, 12:50:22 PM
I am feeling sorry for the devaluation of your investment. But my goodness! Did someone convinced you to invest in those specific coins? Why did you invest $15,000 on projects that are not even in the top 50? Newly launched coins and small market cap coins are not the best for people that are new to crypto. And those coins are not for the long term due to their very high risks. They are often called lottery coins, your money might reach x200 but your investment value can also drop to x-200 folds if they fail. I am not against investing in lottery coins but the amount should be something you are willing to lose.
2228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: November 26, 2022, 11:25:21 AM
^^ Yes, even in the Pacquiao fight, his training or at least when he do the his drills, he is somewhat very slow and not that agile. Maybe that's how Thurman's training is, not focusing on the speed but power because he want's to try to knockout his opponent, and even before he was knock down or lost the fight to Manny, he is known to have that punching power.

So there's no difference it training at all for him, but I think he is more faster that Ugas that Spence recently beat. But has more power behind it. He had Manny in trouble in the later rounds, it's that his weakness was a body punch and when Manny hit him in the stomach, he somewhat wince, meaning he is affected.

For sure Spence team knows that, and Spence also throws a lot of body punch in the Ugas fight and we can see that it has power behind because Ugas will react and then tuck his elbow under him for protection.

So Spence is a good to decent body puncher, base on his stats against Ugas:

216 punches thrown, 70/784 = 27.6 %

So maybe a couple of body shots might hurt Thurman here. But still though, this is going to be a very close fight that might go to the scorecard.

Thurman survived against Pacman despite that 1st round knockdown, so I don't think Thurman here will allow Spence to exploit his weakness. Thurman has probably recovered already from his injury and has prepared for his comeback, so I don't really think that Spence aiming at Thurman's body would be a great strategy.

We are talking about the about of body shots that Thurman might absorb against Spence, not injury or something. I do agree that he survived against Pacman, but as you can see he started to slow down when he is hit in the body.

Here is the video of Thurman almost getting knock down by Manny's body punch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5g8152wanVI

And for the record, we didn't say that he has a body weakness, he himself admitted to that even after his last fight 9 months ago against Barrios:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRgAIzN4RDc

Listen to him post fight interview, he says that he felt different when he is touch on that part of his body, and that maybe his liver is sensitive.

And this is the video of that body shot: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JdUX1oP-I90

So it's a weakness that he has and no amount of training can strengthen his body to take blows.

And if Spence team is really that good, they will exploit it from the first round, uppercut to the body, any shot that will land in his liver/stomach.

Right. Thurman will be chopped down and his head will fall. And he is not the same scary Thurman some years ago that has the athleticism and hunger with the intent to hurt opponents. Spence knows it based on his previous fights since his first return from inactivity. He knows Thurman doesn't have the same speed and can be hit and hurt. He knows Thurman will run away once he gets hurt. Although Thurman might land his own haymakers since Spence is not that good defensively.

IMO, I don't rate Thurman that highly nowadays. He remained very popular because of his name and he is a former unified champion. But I think Terrence Crawford's unpopular opponent yet earned his rank properly, David Avanesyan will beat the present version of Thurman.
2229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 25, 2022, 05:53:59 PM
I’m surprised that Kuku is still being given value to still form a team like this. I think should just do coach role instead of doing offlane since he is not effective anymore on competitive play. He is just a burden most of the time if his hero feed on laning phase. BlackList surely expanding now to Dota2 right after dominating the ML.  Cheesy
I still think he's a good offlaner even though they crumbled in TI and we can't assume that just because the team is struggling already means that he's the only one bringing the team down and there might not be a lot of offlaners that could mesh with this kind of lineup....

I would also like to see Kuku as a coach or if he can shift to a support role although they already had TIMS and eyyou. Who will be the captain of Blacklist? Kuku or is it going to be eyyou?

With so many roster announcements and reveals this week hopefully we see some EU teams next.

Most of them probably stay with the same team. Nigma isn't making any moves either. So far it is only Alliance that has no line-up but we're not even sure if they are heading out of DOTA 2 since they are becoming irrelevant lately. As for Liquid, I wonder who's going to be their replacement for the retired MATUMBAMAN. Gaimin needs a midlaner which may be a good opportunity for Topson if he wants to stay in Europe while OG, is looking for an offlaner.

I think Ana goes inactive again unless there are offers coming from the top teams. Liquid maybe?
2230  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: November 24, 2022, 03:39:13 PM
Paper money will stay for another 100 years. It won't be easy for paper money to get wiped out completely and replaced with digital money. Paper money will co-exist along with CBDCs. Some countries especially the highly modernized and rich but smaller manageable ones like Singapore and Qatar might fully implement it. Big nations with huge populations will find it difficult especially the poor and developing nations where stable internet and even electricity remain an issue. And there are also nations like Afghanistan that are too divided ethnically and in politics that make an unstable government and are always at war which diminishes their chance of modernization.
2231  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Two important lesson I learn from this forum this year 2022 on: November 24, 2022, 02:48:16 PM
It makes sense. The effects of the LUNA crash, the FTX scam, and Binance's ability to shut down its rivals are giving me more realizations to stay out as much as possible to centralized exchanges and be more selective in choosing altcoins. My earlier plan is to accumulate BTC, ETH, BNB, and some more altcoins but I might drop ETH and BNB or at least lessen my projected investments toward them. ETH after shifting to POS seems it is turning into a centralized system while BNB as a Binance token might be in danger from its rival exchanges and other chains.
2232  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-09-24] China Says All Crypto-Related Transactions Are Illegal on: November 24, 2022, 02:28:52 PM
Communist China will of course defy any decentralized platforms, be it monetary, assets, social media, games and entertainment. Communist China does not want anything that it cannot control.

In the past, the Chinese government banned F4, a popular Taiwanese boy band and series actors at the same time because it may influence its huge population. I also read before that they banned popular manga whose origins are from rival Japan, the Chinese government wants its own artists to produce their own comics. So, how much more on bitcoin, especially upon realizing that many of its citizens are mining and investing in fully decentralized digital money? The world is becoming more modernized and open, and any communists and autocratic governments won't last further if they are not to crack down on decentralized platforms and stuff that can open the minds of its population.
2233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons why the 95% of future traders lose all of their money on: November 24, 2022, 02:08:27 PM
Good tips OP. You seem to be part of the 5% since you are giving advice on how to earn and how not to blow our trade positions. However, I prefer proofs and actions rather than words. I rather want to see signals from successful traders and see how it performs rather than words. I always encounter people that say do this and do that, yet after some months I can hear that they aren't trading anymore. It is always easier said than done. Discounting market analysis and intelligence as not defining factors to earn is not true. We cannot have a good trading system and set up risk management without intelligence. Market analysis is necessary in order to strategize effective trading systems. Psychology in trading can only work when someone has the experience and is trading amounts that it can afford without emotional change.
2234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 24, 2022, 12:38:49 PM
Earlier today while watching Youtube during my lunch, I encountered a video of Johnreil Casimero. So he is currently in Thailand training for his scheduled fight with Ryo Akaho. Good thing that he is away in the Philippines and away from many temptations. They are still vlogging but his companions seem nice and humble people unlike the arrogant Marc Lontayao and his toxic entourage. Casimero can focus more on this training in Thailand with fewer distractions and hopefully, he won't be short with spar mates either to emulate Akaho's fighting style.
2235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: November 24, 2022, 12:00:52 PM
My personal take. This fight will happen since this is a big fight and should be very easy for Spence. Spence should be able to stop this past-prime version of Thurman or at least win an easy unanimous decision if he wants to stay safe.
At first glance I see Thurman continuing to practice to anticipate and hone his skills, if Thurman & Spence officially box in the ring in the future, Thurman understands quite well some of Errol Spence's attacks on his opponent.

I remember that at that time Thurman had refused Spence's offer, but if you look at the events that have happened between the two of them, it is clear whether this boxing is official or not depends on Errol Spence's decision, if he hadn't made fun of or held a grudge against Thurman a while ago.

Some experts and boxing experts predict, if Errol Spence forgets what happened between the two and Errol Spence doesn't hold grudges and is selfish in this boxing, of course he will get the best ticket to fight Thurman in the future, that's all if Spence doesn't change his mind.

I know that prime Thurman is capable of beating Spence. We'll see mate if Thurman's fire returns to its former glory days. He isn't that old but he needs hunger and motivation in order to beat Spence.

I heard the rumors before but I haven't paid much attention. But I did follow Thurman a lot during championship days. Thurman from the past was so hungry, eager, and determined. I actually like him when he was being honest and verbally threw offensive remarks to his own handlers (PBC and Showtime) and to Floyd Mayweather jr. who kept the belts hostage from mandatories, ranked 1 contenders, and Thurman as then the WBA regular champion. Thurman was obviously mad and disgruntled as to why he isn't getting a shot at the real belts. I am not even sure if Spence's challenge was for real and at that time he ain't a champion either so Thurman won't get anything if he wins. And Thurman was right, if you want to be the best then why wasn't Spence challenging Mayweather at that time.

This is the same scenario right now, overdue title shots for the next generation of prospects; WBA regular champion Eimantas Stanionis and top 1 ranked contenders Vergil Ortiz and Boots Ennis. The WBA now mandated both Stanionis and Ortiz to face each other and the winner gets the Super WBA belt held by Spence. I doubt it happens though, why would Stanionis face a mandatory when he is already the regular champ, he should get Spence right away. The same situation for Ortiz, he gets nothing fighting Stanionis, it's a fake belt. I don't think Spence would want to fight these young undefeated contenders that are too risky, he rather move up and try to become a 2 division champion for his legacy.

2237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar bribed 8 players from Ecuador for the opening match on: November 23, 2022, 04:46:31 PM
With corruption allegations surrounding Qatars hosting of the worldcup and a very expensive hosting of the game thanks to new structures and all, it's very easy not to make such match fixing claims because these guys aren't much of a footballing nation and can afford a few pieces of silver for their glory... Tbh at this point a genuine win by them will easily be taken as a bought game, but on paper they are the weaker team of the group.

Partially, I did not believe that news right away, but because it is Qatar, I cannot just say that it isn't impossible. Especially when $7.4 million is only dust money for that tiny yet super-rich gulf nation. Now it is becoming more impossible for Qatar to win a single game when Maneless Senegal played a high-level game against the Netherlands. It was just unfortunate for Senegal when unexpectedly the Netherlands landed 2 goals in the dying minutes of the game. The way Senegal and Qatar played in their previous games, I give zero chance for the latter to win except if miracles are true.
2238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 23, 2022, 04:19:53 PM

Anyway, for the games tomorrow, I would only pick one which is the Clippers beating the Warriors on the road.  Smiley

This one is good because the Warriors recently are very unpredictable, they are 7-1 at home but Clippers is not an easy team to beat. Leonard is already playing although with limited minutes but that would inspire his teammates more. Their win against the Utah Jazz is enough for them to bring that momentum going to chase center.

Injury Report: Kawhi Leonard and Paul George OUT vs. Warriors

This tip-off made some sense because the Clippers are listed as the underdogs in their game tomorrow vs the Warriors which got me confused at first why. Just then when I browse, I found out that the two stated stars won't be playing the game tomorrow. Too bad because I was already hoping that this will be a good game and Leonard will be much more used play again even if he will be just given few minutes than normal.

Same here. I'm supposed to say the odds are somewhat juicy for the Clippers. But it's really weird if the basis is only the 7-1 home record of the Warriors because the Clippers were performing well on the road while having a 3-game win streak as well. It ends up that the Clippers are too undermanned in this game.

I have a very bad betting performance this year so I won't trust the spreads these days and would rather just take the ML at 1.27. This should be a good opportunity for the Warriors to defend their home after being embarrassed by the Pelicans the other day.
2239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 23, 2022, 03:57:21 PM

Since Inoue is always in 100% health status and a disciplined boxer, I'm sure adjusting to 122 from 118 won't be a big problem and he can adjust easily to it. Not unless he will have the same health status as Casimero that struggles to catch the 118lbs at the target date although not unlikely to happen for Inoue.
Yes of course this is not a big deal. If he can get 118 so 122 is near to it. And he can make easily.

Every work ask for hard working so here it is also matters.  This will take some hard work and I am sure he can get this achievement easily and can get the figure 122 easily.

Naoya Inoue and Johnereil Casimero are small bantamweights so they are supposed to make their weight limits. Although I do not agree when Casimero was stripped and the sauna nonsense ruling, it is still the lack of discipline on Casimero's side that he failed on his previous 2 fight deals that were canceled.

I haven't heard yet from Inoue's 122 target, the WBO/WBC champ Stephen Fulton who's been mandated by the WBC to rematch Brandon Figueroa for the WBC interim strap at 126. Mark Magsayo's conqueror, the current WBC 126 champion Rey Vargas was mandated to fight for the vacant WBC belt at 130, although he can return to 126 again should he fails to win. After his fight with Butler, it seems like we will see Inoue fighting for any of the vacant belts at 122 left by Fulton.

PYR and ILV will do much better in future.

Can you give more details about your picks before we will do a hard DYOR? Did you invest in it? Are you playing it already? How's your experience?

I read some suggesting Sandbox. Can you guys share some details and experience?

I'll continue to watch this thread. I believe p2e will continue to grow and soon we will be able to see games that are economically sustainable. I still have my Axie pets but only because I do not have the time to check them 1 by 1 before selling them.
