2281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Shakur Stevenson vs Oscar Valdez Title Unification Fight (April 30) on: May 01, 2022, 11:40:13 AM
^^ The bookies are correct, but it seems we got it wrong though as we are pre-dominantly Valdez, same as the crowd who watches the fight live.

Maybe majority of us here doesn't want to watch a defensive fight, but it's obvious that Shakur skills is superior and he has somewhat power because Valdez was hurt when he was just even grazed by Stevenson.

I would rate Stevenson among the top 5 pound for pound fighters but I find his style to be lackluster. Valdez doesn't have the best defense and can't take a punch very well. This was Stevenson's opportunity to win in spectacular fashion but he chose to go with a safety first approach. As great as Shakur is, I still think he has a long way to go before he is on the same level as Canelo, Crawford and Fury due to his unwillingness or inability to finish fighters.

That's not what we are expecting him to see, the bookies are right, they rated Valdez as a heavy dog because he wasn't as aggressive as he was in his past fights, that killer instinct was gone in this fight, probably because Shakur is faster than him and he could not catch him to hurt him. What's next for Shakur after this?

Yeah, it's sort of disappointment performance by Oscar Valdez. I guess this division might be too big for him though. I was not expecting this kind of result but I guess that's why Stevenson is really the outstanding favorite in this fight.

I guess if he wanted to clean the division, Shakur would want to fight Ogawa of Japan. But it seems he is not a very well known fighter and this will not bring money for Shakur. He can go up at 135 lbs and chases this other champion.
2282  Economy / Speculation / Re: No strength in Bitcoin in higher time frames on: April 30, 2022, 06:49:29 PM
Some time I can't stop to wonder why some forks will use Bitcoin immediate conditions to forecast the future, we have seen from past event how Bitcoin price movement have hard direct impact on the altcoin market this is so because the stock market is an inter depending chain that work together and any time there is a sharp drop in the price of a major assets is will result in drastic drop on smaller asset in the same ecosystems.

Perhaps they are forecasting for short term and obviously, maybe they are a day trading and wanted to see the price movement before making their move.

Bitcoin from history have hard a back and forth price movement and to me the present Bitcoin market conditions is not a bear market yet as the percentage loses in the price is not up to bear lose, we are in a mixture of bull and correction mode but the direction the market will take that is what will determine the condition of the market either the bear market a a full bull run.

Lol, if the price is going down from our last all time high, then we are in a bear market already. The conditions are already here, admit it or not. The current price is like 40%++ below the last all time high of $69k. So for the majority this is like the 2018 bear market, or history repeating itself, the 4 year cycle.
2283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 30, 2022, 06:26:22 PM
We have all the matchups in hand right now. Heat - 76ers would be a really tough one and I think that it can end after seven games are played. And I think 76ers would win the series. Bucks are a very strong opponent for Celtics and I don't think that Celtics can get past them. This series can end by a 4-1 victory for Bucks I think. And Suns can get past Mavericks by the same result also. Grizzlies - Warriors might be a little more competitive I think and Warriors would be the winner by 4-2.

By reading those replies before you seem that 76ers will miss Embiid due to an injury.

I like to see series to push to game 7 but with the aggressiveness of Miami, it won't be easy for 76ers to win a game without Embiid
inside, small lineup but very fast and aggressive Heat will try beating them in every game.

We will see Butler against Harden showtime. These two stars will lead their respective team and will carry more with their offensive
attacks.

I didn't know that Embid is injured so yeah if that is the case then Miami should have all the advantage as the Sixers rely on Embid. If the Sixers have finished the Raptors early and sweep them, I don't think that Embid will be injured. So they are going to rely on Harden and hopefully he shows in this playoff because he has a history of choking as well specially if the game is really very crucial.

Yeah, it seems that there are a lot of casino's missing in the link.

But I think this is a work in progress, there are really lots of crypto casinos now, you can check out the ANN thread of some of them here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0. For sure you will have your hands full because there are many of them. Best of luck to your website.
2285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miami Heat vs Philadelphia 76ers - 2nd round (Let's discuss) on: April 29, 2022, 10:00:22 PM
I will go with the Heat on this series. One question though, are the Heat healthy? I thought that Lowry is injured?

Anyhow, even if Lowry is injured or not, I will still bet on the Heat, in terms of experience, they already have it, the core of 2020 against the Lakers is still intact, plus they have a deeper bench than the Heat. As for the Sixers, they were extended by the Raptors and almost on the brink of elimination if they have lost the last game. So they are not built mentally, they have Joel Embid, but if you look at the series against the Raptors, if Joel is sitting and taking a rest, the team doesn't have a offense, and James Harden is inconsistent. As compare to the Heat wherein they have options like Bulter, Bam or even Herro and Robinson to shoot from outside.
2286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't it a pain to remember difficult and long passwords for each new platform? on: April 29, 2022, 09:28:51 PM
I don't think need this for your important data.

If you have some problem for remember a password, why not created a method to backup data? You can search on google, which backup data is good for your self. Most people are gonna to created with a note.

I think no body gonna to use this.

I don't like the idea as well, maybe some of us here are still old school and will used the traditional way of memorizing their password and doing a back up by writing it down.

Again, this might be good, been using as well password managers but totally dump them years ago. Of course my backup is not online, and I don't put it in email or cloud because chances are if these hackers gets ahold of this, they will simply go and attempt to use it.
2287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: April 29, 2022, 08:51:54 PM
Yeah, I've seen races where the horse died after reaching the finished line. Because majority of them are drug enhanced, after all they are supposed to run that grueling mile at a super speed to win. I'm not sure people will steer away from this sports though, it has existed for centuries and I would say, many enjoyed this sports. This is already part of some nation's history, and unless the government will ban it, horse racing will thrive across the globe.
2288  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breaks Past The $40,000 Barrier Again? on: April 29, 2022, 11:56:37 AM
I think the price of $40 has lasted more than 5 months and in my opinion is the longest record since the last year, the good thing is that when the market drops below $40k it even reaches $32k and then it can skyrocket again to the level of $40k, hopefully a bull run will happen soon and the price can reach new ATH again.

Bitcoin early dropped in 2022.It's staying around $40k.February to March bitcoin dropped and reached under $33k. But now bitcoin price under $39k.Market condition very hard. I also hole bitcoin price will be more rise again This year. Cz people still love the bitcoin investment. Bitcoin investment increasing to countie.I hope bitcoin price will grow up and bitcoin will be surpassing us end of November this year.
Bitcoin drop below 30k , actually it is 29k that Bitcoin is the lowest price but recovered up almost 50k though it stopped so basically we are looking for another movement into which we expect at least 60k this year.
that 40k barrier had been broken we are looking for the 50k breaking soon.

It seems to break through the $50k bitcoin price it would take a bull run once or twice more for bitcoin to get past the $45 and $49 prices.
Hopefully your search is successful to correct the price of bitcoin to go to the moon.
But for me in the near future bitcoin will have difficulty reaching the highest price, most likely in the near future bitcoin is in the $45 price range, bitcoin's current resistance point is in accumulation, which is very difficult to achieve in the near future, not to mention the correction phase can make the market is unstable for any coin, so don't expect much in the near future now bitcoin can strengthen at a higher price

What near future? we have seen bitcoin reaching $48k in the last mini bull run we have so there is no difficulty reaching it. The difficult part is going into the next all time high because it might take years ago as we are obviously in the red market right now. Just don't let this bear market change your perception about bitcoin though. It will have a good price in the future and we might get into the $100k range.
2289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Davis vs Romero: May 28 on: April 29, 2022, 10:22:56 AM
^ He has a good chance to score a knock out as long as his hands are not to get broken again as compare to his last fight that's why he didn't score a knockout.

But you have to give Romero some respect of bad mouthing the champion, big balls and hope he can back his trash talk in the ring and not just fight to survived and get his biggest paycheck.
2290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 29, 2022, 09:41:33 AM
Anyone got the Sixers at handicap? Not sure what is the spread but it seems that they are going to cover it as their lead balloon to more than 20 points.

Damn, Raptors losing steam in the 3rd and 4th quarter, I was thinking on betting on them at live, but it's good idea to stay away from this game.

The pregame spread was only -1 for the Sixers, they are a slight favorite because the Raptors beat them twice in a row already. Even in the live betting, you will still get a good odds because they completely dominated the game.

That is if you think before hand that the Sixers are going to win. Because they have lost the last 2 games. But what a turn of events for Toronto. There are no legs and everyone thought that they are going to win because it's in their homecourt. But congrats to those who see the Sixers coming back strong and win by a huge lead.
2291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 29, 2022, 09:08:25 AM
They will double or triple team Giannis when he gets the ball. Horford + Williams will have all the works but they will have a help just like what they did against Durant. They will swarm him with 3 players and going to force turnover on Giannis or pass the ball.

They can do that but it will lead the shooters open. Though Middleton is not playing Bucks now have a lot of good 3-point shooters and for sure they already know that kind of strategy by their opponent so they are prepared for it. Let's look back how the Bucks beat the Suns in the last year NBA Finals.

But defensive teams are willing to give a long shot than a layup. Take for example what they did against Durant, he has a bad shooting slump throughout the series specially in the first 2 games. And that setup the tempo for the Celtics. So for sure they will focus on Giannis more and then rotate as fast as they can if Giannis will able to find the open man. So it's really up to shooters of Bucks to close the gap and hit their shots. If not, then the Celtics has a good chance to win.
That is one of the reason why the Celtics are the best defensive team right now. They are good at rotation and hustle that is why they can still defend other players even though they are focusing on one player and in this case it will be Giannis.

It is a mystery TBH for me on how they will stop Giannis or at least lessen his production especially in offense. I agree too and I would love my opponent to shoot a much harder three than a layup though the Bucks team has many good shooters as well. I predicted Celtics in 6 games here but if Middleton will play, I might go pick Bucks in 7 games. It would surprise me too if they will do what they did to KD with Giannis where he isn't the usual Durant that we've seen in playoffs. That might be his worst playoff series in his career.

Celtics though is not that far as far as 3 point shooting percentage as a team. Although the Bucks might be on the top of this category, their rotation might be enough to have the Bucks shooters missed their shots. I don't buy the argument though that Durant is not his usual self in the playoffs, we should give credit to the defense they put against him. And they are going to use it against Giannis but maybe when some few changes and tweaks to let Giannis works very hard in offense and defense.
2292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: April 28, 2022, 11:21:06 PM
Magsayo steps up to the ring and faces the undefeated boxer with a record of 35 wins with 22 KOs in his career it's a big fight for magsayo even though they are both undefeated Magsayo has a chance of losing if he will not practicing hard and improve his skills cause we all know that Vargas is very tough man that can carry all the punches by his opponent and while has strategic move he can adjust his style during the fight .
Both have a chance to win and have a loss, and yes Magsayo is on a big risk here and Vargas looks more aggressive compare to Magsayo, well he have to train well and do everything to condition his mind and body, maybe Magsayo can still have a good chance here. Its hard to predict on both boxer and usually challenger are more prepared, there’s still plenty of time to prepare both of them will surely do their best.
I'm not really familiar with this new guy but the way I see how he move in the ring definitely gonna make a chance for him to win and I think if someone new like Rey Vargas in a weight might make a difference compared to those who got used to the weight level. Although, we don't know what will happen to them inside the ring maybe it will depend on their training and who's the trainor.

And yes, just like what you said, both have a chance to win here since everyone can't decide which side would win so everything is just a pure speculation at the moment.

I thought that Vargas is the odds favorite? So it's not a 50/50 fight obviously. Trainers are big part of the equation because they are going to honed the fighters to be a perfect boxer in fight now.

Nevertheless if you are not familiar with at least one of them, (and I think majority here knows Magsayo since he is one of the torch bearer for the Philippines since the retirement of Manny P.), then I would say that you don't put any bet on this fight, just saying.
2293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin hit a new high amid price volatility on: April 28, 2022, 11:01:11 PM
Yeah, I followed the news regarding the hash rate for sometime during the China ban and the problem is Kazakhs before. So it's good to see that the numbers are back and could be a good indication that we might be somewhat in stable form not at least. But if this will translate to a bitcoin rally? We will have to see, this is all business now and this miners will have to generate enough money to survived in their mining business. Might just be a few jumps here and there, but I don't expect a rally though or even a new all time high.
2294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about algorithmic stablecoin staking? on: April 28, 2022, 10:41:24 PM
Stablecoins like UST, USN, USDD have a very tricky link to the dollar and the collateral pool, in the form of a native token of a particular blockchain, be it LUNA, NEAR, TRON, etc. Such projects offer or are about to offer 20-30% per annum in staking these stablecoins. Not a bad interest rate, is it? But will these projects be able to provide such a high interest rate all the time, and won't that provoke a cascading collapse of both the stablecoins, with the loss of the peg and a cascading collapse of the native tokens that act as reserve collateral?

Good question, I don't think that they can sustain that huge returns per annum. It was obvious that they got that numbers to attract investors. So they have to somewhat bring it down to a minimum and not exaggerate otherwise if might affect the market negatively as you have said. Maybe the high payout will not bring any good and on the contrary they could have been running on reserves already.
2295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 28, 2022, 02:29:10 PM
How much longer is Nikola Jokic going to be in Denver knowing that he can't win anything there?
Another beating in the playoof suffered by him playing a great game and his teammates being a counterweight

Hyland 0 % of field goals

Well his number 2 and number 3 guy are injured, Murray and Porter Jr. So obviously it's going to be a big task for him to carry the team with only Gordon helping him out but inconsistent in this series.

I think he will stay with the Nuggets and see if Murray and Porter getting healthy. It will be a good and very dangerous team in the West next season.
2296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celtics vs Bucks 2nd round Series. on: April 28, 2022, 01:39:06 PM
I like the chances of the Boston Celtics here, here are my thoughts:

1. Jayson Tatum - he has matured already, and not a superstar in his own right. He shows that he can play with the best and can guard them just like what he did with the matchup against KD. So the question is who is going to stop him at the side of the Bucks?

2. Overall I will say that the defense of the Celtics is one of the best in the East together with the Heat. And we all know that defense win games.

3. Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart - two of the best perimeter defender we have, they can guard Holiday, Grayson Allen, and Pat Connaughton.

2298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: April 25, 2022, 07:22:27 AM
If both will win in their home country then we will surely see a trilogy. If the fight is not boring, of course will draw the attention of the crowd and they'll make a lot of money on this fight. Too bad for Lopez, if only he beats Kambasos then he should be in this situation now. I will support these two fighters as they are both undefeated but one is just a heavy favorite to win.
It seems Lopez is scared to face Haney, that's why he choose Kambosos since he thought he will easily beat Kambosos... but it's not. He won over Loma on October 2020 and there's no fight until November 2021, 1 year is enough to setting up the fight against Haney to be honest.

Surely it will be interesting if both won in their home, even Kambosos or Haney lose in their first match, they're nothing to lose since they have a chance get back their titles on second match. Haney got my respect to attend the second match against Kambosos, as we know he's a favorite in this match.

Speaking the heavy favorite which is Haney, the odds is 1.52x right now... I don't think it's heavy favorite, because I've seen another boxer has below 1.10x odds.

It's far from being the outstanding and heavy favorite. And Lopez can pull another surprise in this fight and most probably we will see another one even if Haney losses. There are a lot at stake here, this is unification so it make sense that a rematch clause is in place and put to motion. Agree as well that we might see a trilogy here, so the other fighters in this division will have to wait like Garcia and Haney if they chooses to remain in this division and willing to wait.
2299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 25, 2022, 05:04:53 AM
Oh Bulls, they can only stay during the first quarter so it's a lost for me. I think they are done in this series and the Bucks can clinch in the next game.

It's good that the Heat won, so I'm 1/1 on my bet.

Nuggets won and so is the Hornets. So the series extend for this two teams and more bet for us (hopefully we can win some).
2300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 25, 2022, 04:28:27 AM
Although Alcaraz won, he didn't cover the handicap so my parlay got destroyed.

Rublev defeating Djokovic in Belgrade, wow, I thought that Djokovic will win this game in 2 sets.  But Rublev plays solid and it so happen that Djokovic win the tie break in the 2nd set. But then Rublev destroys him 6-0 in the final set.
Djoković gave a really strange interview after the match. He is sort off ill, he has some disease that came back and sap his strength. It is not covid but he does not want to talk about it. Seems like he had problems with that disease at the begging of the career and then nothing until now.

What do you mean Alcaraz did not cover the handicap? He won 6:3 6:2 in the final, meaning +6.5 got covered. i don't think anybody even offered something over 4.5.

Maybe you have missed my previous post about my bet on Alcaraz:

Rublev though has an easy game against Fognini. I have a parlay with him and Alcaraz at handicap but the Alcaraz vs De Minaur has been suspended.

So it was a bet not on finals but on semis, him against De Minaur and it's obvious that he didn't cover it because it was a very close match.

As for Djokovic case, I thought that he has somewhat recovered mentality as I have said. But nah, the way he lost that final set strange, and he said that he has run out of gas.

But we should give credit to Rublev though, he has been hot early this year.
