361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will it ba the next dogecoin ??? on: October 26, 2020, 01:41:03 PM
Personally, I don't invest my funds into an unfamiliar project. It takes time to check every single aspect to ensure that the project offers a profitable deal. Additionally, I have my specific criteria in selecting a project to invest in. I carefully do background checking with the project's core objective, team, as well as their roadmap. Is it even connected with dogs? Or they just used it to sound catchy? For all that, I can't verify it, as their website is unsecured.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you invested for Attractive projects?? on: October 26, 2020, 12:03:36 PM
should i  invest for this project on this november?
If you conduct a proper analysis and prove the credibility of the project, then you should consider it in investing. But if not, then you should seek for additional resources, excluding the white paper, as it can be deceptive. Don't base your investment decision on it, as there are diverse circumstances where a project imitate the white paper of another project.

COINSBIT.IO is a good one for invest money?
Based on some topics regarding that exchange in Scam Accusations, I will suggest not to invest. But the decision is up to you, you may consider checking this review about that exchange.

Do you trust registered companies in switzerland?
It depends, since even some companies are registered they still manage to commit frauds. So, if you want to make a quick investment decision, then examine and measure the risk.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi project like game pump and dump on: October 26, 2020, 10:31:20 AM
This thing is usually happening in different Defi projects and I know some of us are already familiar with this kind of scenario that's why we should be careful about picking a Defi project because by just a blink of seconds our funds will possibly gone. I agree with the other members who reply here which the hype of the Defi project is one of the things that brought a pump and dump scenario. However, today we will not only notice this kind of scenario because some of them also turn out of being scam projects like after receiving funds from the investors they will run and will delete all their contacts. The hype of Defi will not only bring us more money cause it will also bring big problems so, be careful about investing, and don't forget to do prior research.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This will make any positive impact in crypto space? on: October 25, 2020, 09:59:32 AM
We've been hearing several countries planning to take this kind of innovation and in my opinion, it might have an impact but don't expect that this will bring a huge influence on crypto space since, after all, it's a centralized digital currency, and it won't promote crypto. However, when people start to adapt to the digital currency, it can be a way for them to recognize crypto. And it can also help them to easily understand how digital currency and transaction work so when they get to know crypto, it will be easy for them to understand it as well.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling could be used to pay for covid problems on: October 24, 2020, 04:49:40 PM
It's undeniable that they can indeed earn more tax by regulating online gambling since online casinos have quite bigger profits. But the question is, will it really help to lessen COVID cases in Europe? Will they really see a change in their current situation because they will have more money to fight the pandemic?

As mentioned by the OP, there are benefits when they regulate online casinos, but obviously, gamblers won't like the idea of getting extra charge and having an issue with privacy.
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why criminals still use Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2020, 01:45:17 PM
The more bitcoin gets recognition, the more criminals will also use bitcoin for transactions in their illegal activities. Aside from the convenience, and that some criminals think they can hide and can't be traced with bitcoin, we just can't stop them from using it. It's the same with fiat, bitcoin has values so it will likely be used for illegal activities no matter what we do. But comparing it to the percentage of criminals using fiat in illegal activities, bitcoin is not that big.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie thoughts about altcoin investments. on: October 23, 2020, 03:57:38 PM
We should bear in mind that every investment is associated with risk, therefore, learn to invest your funds with awareness and knowledge. Personally, I am willing to take risks, considering some altcoins have great potential. The risk of losing your funds depends on how you make choices, like choosing a coin to invest. But if follow the process of evaluating the details of a project, then you will see there are also good opportunities in an altcoin.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: cowid19.finance - $CO19 Defi Project on: October 23, 2020, 02:27:15 PM
It is unsurprisingly to see people doubt the validity of this project, as they did not thoroughly think about the inferences of people. It is not funny and will never be, given the situation of people who are in misery due to the virus. It’s better if they analyze it, as it is a sensitive topic. In addition, the identity of their team is hidden, so people can’t determine if they are trusting their funds with trustworthy people. To make sure you protect yourself against scams, carry out proper research before investing.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 23, 2020, 01:32:07 PM
My suggestion is to make a rule to stop playing and try to punish yourself by saving the money you lost from other things like not going out this week, or not buying that gift, etc.

You should set it in your mind that the longer you play in gambling aka the more rounds you play the more you "HAVE" to lose due to the house edge. It is as simple as that.
Its very easy to say things like this and things like that but in reality, gamblers can't do things like that.
Stop?? Especially for an addicted one, they can't do that thing because as long as they have money they will gamble and gamble.

Instead of setting a rule like this, they must change their mindset and have a discipline first because this rule will be useless. I agree that punishing yourself thru saving money would work but how can you make if if you aren't discipline enough to do it.
This only applies to those who have self-discipline and those who can still manage to resist gambling temptation. But for those who have been experiencing excessive gambling, even if they will set different rules, it will be hard to follow it and they will just end up breaking their own rules. And even if we say that we are not an excessive gambler, sometimes it's also hard for us to stop. For me, one thing that we also need to keep in mind is our priorities, in that case, it will give us a reason to think and have a second thought about gambling more.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: October 22, 2020, 03:51:14 PM
I am suffering today because not being able to control myself lost 250 Euro in my preferred slot machine.I started out well going from 11 to 255 Euro and then greediness got the best of me trying to win the jackpot and in less than 15 minutes all lost. What I want to say is that it is very difficult to stop when you are winnjng rather than when you are losing. Also if you chase your loses it is the biggest mistake anyone can make in gambling.

I promise here to the world that I won’t touch any slot machine again with hand and I swear to God for it.

Promises are made to be broken I'm not urging you to play again it's just you have don't have to blame yourself to what happened it can happen to anybody here, it happens to me when I was just a newbie, but I never made a promise I just take my time, take a vacation and think of what happened, realization is the key that gambling is just for entertainment and you should only bet what you can afford to lose, once you fully realize that you can play again with no pressure.
It's easy to say promises not to do something anymore because we often do that when we are in our extreme emotions like things did not work out well. But to be honest, if you have been gambling for quite some time now, it will be hard to just suddenly stop because you will keep on looking for it. One day, he might forget about this promise and play the slot machine again. I agree with you that it takes time to calm yourself and to prevent extreme emotions, we also need to control our greed when gambling.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How safe it is to give a away personal detail to SwissBorg on: October 22, 2020, 02:44:16 PM
In my opinion, it is inevitable to be nervous about sharing personal data, especially knowing that there are different cybercrimes in the account of KYC. You should check for what purpose they will use your data before allowing them to access it. KYC is not only about you share your information, it is also about opening some opportunities for people to defraud and steal from you. I can see that SwissBorg respect the decisions and the security of their users, so they allow them to request for the erasure of data. You can check it here.

372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which ia the best coin for holding 2021? on: October 22, 2020, 01:37:47 PM
I will go with Bitcoin and most of us here recommended it to hold for the year 2021. By the way, I have noticed today that bitcoin already touched the 13,000$ price in the market. Aside from bitcoin, I guess I will go with Ethereum and Binance. We have different preferences when it comes to holding but even with our different choices, we should always consider bitcoin as our priority when holding. Make sure OP, you will do good research before you buy coins for your holdings.
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 22, 2020, 01:01:04 PM
The pandemic surely has a huge effect on the whole sports industry. You have mentioned most of the key points, home-court advantage plays a huge role when playing, audiences have a huge impact on players. Most athletes are hesitant to go back to playing due to the risk of getting infected even with careful screening the risk is still present. The fear of corona hits the sports industry real hard. Some athletes gamble on playing on leagues since they also have to earn money.

Some sports and matches had been affected due to it and many events had got cancelled as well. Good thing is that slowly it is back, and people can watch their live sports, teams or players and enjoy the game. Risk still exists, and players may be little stressed about it, but the show must go on and with some changes it is being conducted.
I think even if players are afraid of getting a virus, they have no choice but to take a risk than to starve to death since they also need income. Also, I think we are mostly just afraid at the beginning of this pandemic but now, we are slowly adapting and continue living with a new normal setup.

We can see sports events are now starting to reopen and players just need to be extra careful with their health and to prevent getting a virus especially if they are already scheduled to have a match.
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: October 21, 2020, 04:29:14 PM
My question is: there is something to learn about roulette gambling, or just luck in this game.
if you ask me roulette is just pure luck. but it doesn't really hurt having a strategy for it.

the strategy is always bet on black and I am not kidding. if you only bet on either red or black. the game will be pretty similar to an online dice game. me not having much of experience playing roulette in an in-depth way I wouldn't be able to give a great strategy but you can always try the easiest way I gave you(I am not even sure if it is a strategy).

anyway, if you are interested in a more serious strategy of roulette. there are tons of detailed explanation of roulette strategy you can find on the internet these days. just like this one(link below) after searching "roulette strategy" this article already have 5 "best" strategy of roulette and they have a decent explanation for the strategy they are talking about.

https://www.planet7casino.com/planet-strategy/5-best-winning-roulette-strategies/
Roulette is a type of game that mostly requires luck. As for strategies, you already mentioned searching on the internet and indeed, there's quite a lot of list of strategies you can find. However, if you are going to check these strategies, you will mostly see martingale being suggested but it's kinda hard to depend on it because we know that it does not work for everyone. I believe it's still better to find your own strategy than relying on the internet.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bahamas becomes the next nation to launch National Digital Currency on: October 21, 2020, 02:51:17 PM
For me, it's still a good thing although it won't bring a huge impact on crypto since, after all, it's a centralized one that is controlled by the bank. But on the positive side, adopting digitally can help in teaching people about the digital currency which can also give them an idea about cryptocurrency. I mean, it teaches people how to make transactions using digital currency so once they get to know about crypto, it will be easy for them to understand it.
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Darkside Hackers donating Bitcoins on: October 21, 2020, 02:15:25 PM
For me, doing something bad just to help others won't make it any good or better because you helped in the wrong way. Even if we say that those hackers are doing it to help charities, it's not an ideal way to help and it would be a dilemma for those charities to accept funds that were acquired in illegal activities. Charities will either turn a blind eye and just accept that bitcoin or report it to the authorities and if they do, would they benefit from it?
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What asset would you HODL for the next 5 years?? on: October 21, 2020, 12:44:41 PM
Things we never expect may happen within those 5 years so it's kinda hard but what I think would be the best to hold is Bitcoin or gold. We never know what will happen in USD within those 5 years. The same thing with stocks, it's hard to hold stock for that long since its value will depend on how the business works. On the other hand, bitcoin may be volatile but it has a good future ahead, while gold is good for the long term because it's stable and won't lose its value.
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 21, 2020, 11:26:13 AM
I think it's normal for us gamblers, we also experience such things when we keep saying to play more, trying to get back what we lost but end up losing even more. And I think it's fine to keep trying but when it exceeds your limit or funds, that becomes a problem since when we get used to doing this, it will make us addicted that we can't control our emotions anymore.

As a gambler, even if we badly want to recover our loss, we should also know our limitations and that the more we keep on trying to recover from losses, the more we lose. When I'm in this kind of situation, I always try to take a break so ease myself.
379  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: October 21, 2020, 09:42:49 AM
I received a message about this interview, and it would be nice to answer these questions, so here are my answers.

Questions:

Answer: The lack of knowledge and support from the government, and also others find it too complicated to understand.

4.2. How do you think mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum or harms the community?
Answer: I think it's good since I can see there's a lot of gamblers here as well, so for someone like me, it can help me find some gambling sites to play with various reviews from other gamblers.

4.3. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?
Answer: 2-3 years of experience is enough as long as you already learned and adopted on how the market works as an investor since experiences can already teach us about investing.

Answer: The current merit system is already good since it's keeping the quality of the posts here in the forum.

6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?
Answer: There are lots of useful topics here that's why I can't choose a specific one. It's the same for helpful users because there are a lot of users who contributed and made helpful threads like LoyceV and DdmrDdmr.

7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?
Answer: I can't think of anything specific but as I read what others have suggested, I think some of it would be good if implemented.

Answer: Yes, I trade on exchanges and I always use Binance. Also, for now, I'm looking for good Defi projects where I can invest.

9. Tell a story about your big profit or big loss?
Answer: It may not as big as the profit of the others, but probably mine is just the first quarter of this year through trading.

10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?
Answer: It's getting a lot of attention, and I think it's not that bad joining the hype as long as you know what Defi projects to choose from since there are projects with potential and also scam projects.

11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?
Answer: It's both necessity and precaution for me but it doesn't mean I'm hiding something or such.

12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?
Answer: I'm not a fan of reading books so none.

13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?
Answer: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance

14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?
Answer:  Maybe still around $12,000-$15,000$

zasad@ Thank you for inviting me to answer your survey.

380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time that there will be no new altcoin projects anymore on: October 20, 2020, 04:41:13 PM
It's kinda hard to say that since the more crypto is receiving recognition and attention, there will always be new projects or coins that will emerge in the market. It's similar to businesses, if there is an in-demand product, businesses will continue to appear to provide those demand. Although we all know that not all coins get the same recognition, not all projects succeed, new coins will still be there. And the reason why they still keep emerging even if there are already thousands of other coins is that they try to provide something that those old coins don't have.
