No worries, the Vulture 2 probably won't even be seeing a launch date for a month, lets get our .pdf action on......

Ummm.....I may have had something to do with it. https://nxtforum.org/nxt-promotion/nxt-in-space!/ Maybe we should start a crypto space race.....the Vulture2/LOHAN flight may hit the 50 KM mark, which is pretty impressive for a privately funded, 3d printed, homebrew spaceplane running on NXT and a RaspberryPi.

Nice one. systh, thats a really cool piece of work.

Either a complete lunatic or, as Damelon points out, a 'Moneroman88' FUD technique: anti-Nxt'er pretends to be an insane pro-Nxt'er, thereby pissing off everyone.
And once again, peace and tranquility descends upon BTTland.

Everyone should take a look at some of the supernet newsletters and see just what awesome things they are doing Agreed...but I think this thread should be a relatively shill free zone. Even I manage to post here without mentioning Nxt on every single line.

Greetings, I would like to nominate jl777 for his amazing work on SuperNET. If you are really passionate about cryptocurrency, you must follow SuperNET. Cheers, SR I'll second that.......jl777 for the win!

NXT has many vote and almost all of them are from newbies, that's some serious marketing there
And a few old farts like myself.........I never get how people think that Nxt is good at marketing. Ask anyone who's actually involved in Nxt; we're great on the tech, and completely wobbly on marketing. For example: CounterParty and Smart Contracts...XCP price doubled recently on the news that they could implement SC, while Nxt has had 2 separate SC implementations in development for a while now (and one simplified version already running). Yay...marketing.

As a newbie...I'd recommend doing absolutely nothing for a while. Study the alt-coin world very closely, try to figure out for yourself how shit works around here, because there are more than a few scammers around who will be very happy to take your money away from you and give you very little in return.
If you have real money to invest....put it mostly in Bitcoin, and a couple of top 10 or 20 alt-coins. There is a good chance (though the market is insanely unpredictable) that BTC will start rising again soon, and this rise will also pull up most of the good alts with it. As a beginner: 70% BTC, 30% (or so ) in alt-coins.
4 basic rules of investment: If people ask for your money, be very suspicious. Remember it's your money. If something sounds too good to be true.....it probably is. Anyone who guarantees you a 300% ( or whatever) profit is lying to you. If you don't understand how something works.....don't buy into it. Do your own research.
Good luck, be careful.

Active community, good devs, solid software, real-world applications and uses, long term commitment. All of these, plus a bit of luck.

If the value of your shit coin token scheme relies on scamming people with lies on Bitcointalk then it is garbage and has no real value !
Cutting Spoetnik down to the essentials here. BlockNet/XC gets the criticism right now, because it fits the above description pretty well. The number of red flags on this project makes it almost impossible to ignore. Here's a question for everyone to mull over: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=829576.5180This is the Official BlockNet thread, which is a co-operative effort between 10 different coin communities, correct? So, er....where is everyone ? I'm only seeing XC represented in this thread as a commmunity. And, how did these coins get selected for BlockNet ?

Lucky bastards......being honest, I'm mildly jealous of the initial Nxt stakeholders. But there's a couple of points to make: most of the Nxt whales have been very generous in supporting Nxt and its development. That is the reason that we can pay the salaries of a serious dev team, while at the same time remaining independent of any big corporate investors. The guys who control and finance Nxt are the Nxt community, not outsiders. The whales have also proved, time and again, that they are in this for the long term, not just for a short term pump 'n' dump, so the big Nxt accounts are in safe hands. Though, sadly, not in mine..... Like someone said above, Nxt is going to be celebrating it's first birthday very soon, Nov 24 2013 was the day Nxt blockchain went live...... And if anyone feels curious about Nxt, check out: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857884.msg9556256#msg9556256

....most of which were started by the same 2 or 3 guys. Nxt definitely gets all the FUD, but in the long term it doesn't matter. The eco-system around Nxt is now probably the second biggest in all of crypto, Nxt dominates the crypto-assets market, Nxt Monetary System is coming on the next major update, offering a full colored coins solution in the Nxt core. I won't even mention the 3 Smart Contracts projects within Nxt..... My point is: Nxt has been developing a lot of good stuff over the last year, and sooner or later, all of that hard work is going to pay off big time. All of crypto is in a bear market right now, the weak players with nothng to offer are going to fall over. So, heres a link to the latest Nxt software: https://nxtforum.org/nrs-releases/nrs-v1-3-3/Try it out..... Make sure you check the SHA256 checksum before you install, and you'll need Java installed. Same install runs on Win, Lin, whatever...its a Java app. Platform independent. Use a very good password on account creation, or better yet, use the default password generator. Have fun, any questions, check the main Nxt forum: https://nxtforum.org/index.php Faucets are here: http://jnxt.org/keyhttp://nxtra.org/faucet/

+1 to all of the above....

Take just one look at the nxt fourm and tell me that it's not going off over there
Yeah, NXT is looking so damn good for the long term. The eco-system is growing like crazy, core features are solid, more devs, several older projects coming on-line properly. Oh, yeah, and NXT in space.....

Gotta say how much I love the NRS 1.3.x updates......NRS runs again on low-power stuff like RaspPi and cheap ass VPS and , once the initial blockchain scan is done, shuts down and loads so damn fast. Nice work, dev dudes.

I'm starting to run out of btc and faith... FFS....I'm not exactly a BlockNet supporter, but some of you guys are hilarious. The ITO has been closed for less than a week and you're looking for quick profit already? What did you think this profit was going to be based on.....Dans winning smile? BlockNet has got a lot of tech to develop before it can make good on the promises of the ITO, and you lot all knew that when you bought in. So grow a pair and hodl, don't just wimp out after 6 days and guarantee your loss by selling.
