1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NFD] NFD REBORN OFFICIAL PRE-ANNOUNCEMENT THREAD on: June 16, 2014, 07:54:01 AM
This is the new era of NFD, Thanks all for great works, I got " Your effective balance is zero, you cannot forge." when i try to forge, what is that means?

If its the same as NXT, you'll have to wait until 1440 confirmations on your balance, before it starts forging. I'm on 450 right now....

Thanks to the guys who stepped in to make this work, btw, its good to see people step up and save a bad situation.
Got my NFD, very smooth. Wish everything was this easy......

this dude is really the worst troll ever.....we used to get much better trolls back in teh good old days.
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT, the ultimate SCAM, will it die because of 100% pre-mine given to 50 people? on: June 14, 2014, 06:56:14 PM
Yup, nothing beats a bit of 48 point.....thread closed, methinks.

NXT is not a scam.....get over it.
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT, the ultimate SCAM, will it die because of 100% pre-mine given to 50 people? on: June 13, 2014, 10:46:01 PM
Just checking....yup, still not very clever here either.
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PPC is how you do PoS fairly, Sunny King should be applauded, NXT is a scam copy on: June 13, 2014, 10:44:51 PM
Yeah, pre-mine.....thats where you lose all credibility. Even FC was slightly smarter than you......
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PPC is how you do PoS fairly, Sunny King should be applauded, NXT is a scam copy on: June 13, 2014, 10:20:34 PM
It's good that peacefulmind has a FrictionlessCoin quote in his sig...saves so much time wasted on deciding if he is a complete idiot or not.
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM's leader utopianfuture RETIRED after mistake posting w. sockpuppet acc on: June 13, 2014, 06:07:05 PM
All UF did was spam sockpuppets to promote NEM back in January.  UF only kept 1 sock for a second stake, which is legal if it's for someone else.  Taint analysis removed hundreds of sockpuppet stakes.

BCnext and Satoshi had conversations with themselves, in the beginning, to drum up popularity.  Seems fitting UF would name his sock "ghosthouse".  UtopianFuture, Satoshi and BCnext may as well be the same person.

NEM never had an IPO.  It was a call for participation where most people paid $5 to $40 and it has a very fair distribution, unlike NxT's IPO whales and all the other $hitcoins out there.

UF resigning had no impact on the price of NEM, historic low was 17K and it's currently above 20.

The people who think UF committed murder are all NxTers who fear NEM.

In that case, I say ask him back on board, if it really, really was only one extra stake.
As a longstanding NEM stakeholder, I really don't care that UP snaffled an extra stake for himself.

And, btw, Taun, I'm getting bored of your constant anti-NXT paranoia/FUD....could you dial it down a bit?

1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM's leader utopianfuture RETIRED after mistake posting w. sockpuppet acc on: June 13, 2014, 12:54:39 PM
Its a conspiracy if it would true then NEM starts to be a serious rival of NXT while NXT trust of initial stakeholders is holding still most of NXT coins. So some of them may behave hostile to NEM because NEM has a big potential to threaten the NXT. And the most hated should logically be the founder of NEM project. They were waiting while people started buying stakes because it made NXT price growing. Now people are almost cashing out NXTs. This is not my theory, this is a theory of my job collegue but it seems to be working. So now has come the best time to start a tongue-offensive.

EDIT: IT seems that CfA explained the situation in many other threads. These ideas seem to be wrong also.

How the hell could NXT set up NEM's 'leader' to be revealed in this way?
You are really heading into black helicopter world with that one.
In case you hadn't noticed, btw, nearly every single NEM stakeholder with an active BTT account is also a NXT'er.
NXT is at #3 right now, we want Litecoin, not NEM.
Personally, I liked NEM, as did the majority of NXT'ers, and I was looking forwrd to seeing how the NEM project worked out.

I hope that you guys can come up with a rescue plan, and I repeat: first get some hard info about exactly how many stakes UP reserved for himself, then figure out how to remove those tainted stakes. Until you can do that in an open way....no-one is going to trust NEM.
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM's leader utopianfuture RETIRED after mistake posting w. sockpuppet acc on: June 13, 2014, 08:01:08 AM
I'm going to echo jaguar0625 on this, in my own words:

To the NEM 'community' :
Stop whining about needing a f**king leader, man up, and get working on rescuing NEM from this clusterfuck.
You are supposed to be an egalitarian, fair and equal project, but all I see are a bunch of kids looking for a new babysitter.
No-one is going to rescue you, if you won't do it yourself.

The very title of this thread pisses me off; "NEM's leader....."
You shouldn't need a leader, a strong community is what will get results.

I suggest that the first thing someone does is to find out exactly what UP did with sockpuppets and stakes....I've seen a lot of accusations and not very much evidence.
Does he have one stake-holding sock-puppet or 20 ?
Until you know the extent of the damage, you can't fix it.
1371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: June 12, 2014, 12:22:21 AM
Wow! I look back on the last few weeks....NXT is amazing.

Anyway, back to being Mister Bossy:

I'm trying to organise exchange integration a little bit more, so I've set up a central thread for everything to do with promoting NXT to exchanges:
https://nxtforum.org/nxt-promotion/promoting-nxt-to-exchanges-the-central-thread/new/#new
It would make things easier, and make us less scammable, if we could use that thread for all/most exchange promotion....please.

And, at the same time, I've made a thread for any technical info/resources or documentation that could help exchanges to integrate NXT, starting off with the API. Contributions here would be very useful:
https://nxtforum.org/trading-exchanges/exchange-integration-technical-stuffdocumentationresources/new/#new
I know all the NXT tech guys are mad busy, but producing some documentation now could save a lot of questions/tech support in the future.

I think the dude in question just rushed stuff at the last minute.
We'll track him down and drag him to justice....

Hey I have an idea. This days it would count as epic PR stunt, do it!  Cheesy

I like the way you think, mate, I'd almost vote for it.........and it would be great PR.

Sorry.
This just ain't right. I have a suspicion that the guy who put the Payexpo banner together just grabbed some stuff at the last moment, without thinking too much.
I've PM'ed him to get in touch, here or on PM.
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: June 11, 2014, 10:03:03 PM
@start the art:

hold on a second....lets be clear here for a second before we start shouting at people;

Did anyone invoved with PayExpo or NXT promotion contact u in any way about using your images?

If not, I'll help you sort this out....
1376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: June 11, 2014, 06:41:21 PM
more facepalm, please, my main FP holding tank is empty....
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [SCAM ALERT] ***********EMUNIE - CAUTION ADVISED************* on: June 11, 2014, 06:39:37 PM
I thought Elmo was NXTs very own troll....I feel cheated somehow.

No more ear-tickling for you, you....hussy!
*starts to cry*
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Litecoin hold the #2 spot? Doubtful..and here are the coins who will benefit on: June 11, 2014, 05:07:29 PM
I've just gone on public record that LTC will be toast within a few months.

https://nxtforum.org/general-discussion/price-speculation/msg41392/#msg41392

I'm also fairly sure that the big winners from a Litecoin collapse will be BTC and NXT, not sure how much other alts will gain.
We'll see.....interesting times ahead, for sure.
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: June 11, 2014, 12:34:22 PM
Yep, Ricky haz tha madd deeductive skillz  Huh

NXT and GoCoin is a GOOD THING, no argument.
And may I point out that the main credit for sorting this out should go to JustaBit and Cointropolis ?
+10s to all involved.

Now....the next steps:

Run more nodes, you bastards........and get the word out to all of your favourite sites where you buy stuff:
"Please add GoCoin as a payment option, I would like to pay with NXT."
https://www.gocoin.com/

This deal brings us one step closer to our private islands, so get out there and spread the word.
NXT and GoCoin are a great combination.......

1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: June 06, 2014, 11:26:09 PM
I got yet another infrastructure request to you, guys.

Have a look: http://charts.nxtcrypto.org/cNoOfAwardedForgers.aspx

We need more forging accounts.

Big stakeholders, split up your accounts to at most 5 million NXTs, please.

Small stakeholders, form hubs and forge together. Each active NXT helps.

Thanks.

It is ok if we just lease our balance to a  pool?

Or are you impliying to forge by our own?

It is very much okay. Smiley

1) Better than not forging is leased forging.

2) Better than leased forging is forging on your own.

So, everything is better than not forging.

+10 to ChuckOne on this......we need more of everything. In an ideal world the NXTwork would consist of 200-1000 'supernodes', each running a forging balance between 1-5 megaNXT, and any number of smaller nodes helping to secure the network.

Just as a reminder: there are now 2 profitable reasons to run your own node: forging income and the NSC asset, which is issued to all forging nodes for creating a block, even if it is empty. Have a look at:
https://nxtforum.org/assets-board/%28ann%29-nsc-nxt-security-coin/
Good idea from Ebby....

Set up nodes, forge on them, please....
