861  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor Safe 3 New Hardware Wallet on: December 25, 2023, 08:19:28 PM
It seems I am unlucky. I pre-ordered Trezor Safe-3, and they delivered it through UPS. I have checked the tracking number, which has marked delivered but I haven't received anything yet.
This must be ''magic'' of delivery services... only in very rear cases they work like swiss clocks.  Tongue
I don't understand how UPS can report something to be delivered if it is not, but your issue could be related with holiday season or with your specific location.
There are few people I know who ordered Trezor 3 and they received it fairly quickly, after waiting a bit longer for package to be sent by Trezor.
862  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Is Trezor wallets safe on: December 25, 2023, 08:09:27 PM
As for Trezor safe 3, its secure element is close source. Just take note of that.
Trezor 3 Safe is actually using Infineon OPTIGA Trust M secure element and you can easily find it's code on github for inspection:
https://github.com/Infineon/optiga-trust-m

in the moment you connect to internet im using now Electrum on airgaped laptop and a watch only wallet on my online computer
but the problem is that electrum is btc only wallet when i want to store USDTe
You can also use L-USDT and L-BTC on Green Wallet, that is built on Liquid Network.

i dont really like metamask i have seen many peoples get hacked when they linking their trezor with metamask
Trezor is safe if you use it correctly.
If you don't know what you are doing than you can make even perfectly safe device into unsafe.
I would not use stupid metamask wallet, but Trezor Suite works just fine for what you are looking for.

Then your choice should be AirGap Knox .
To expensive for just a code that don't even support all android devices.
863  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Keystone 3 HW coming soon! on: December 25, 2023, 07:47:45 PM
  • One less secure element [or rather an MCU] chip on the Keystone 3 [2 vs 3 on the Pro version].
  • No biometric authentication feature on the Keystone 3.
Source
Correct.
It should be noted that few days ago they released new version of firmware 1.2.4 with open-source code verification of firmware.
However, I didn't see any confirmation for this on WalletScrutiny website so far, but their code was audited by Slowmist.
 few weeks ago
https://github.com/KeystoneHQ/keystone3-firmware/releases

Firmware Checksum Verification can easily be done:
https://guide.keyst.one/docs/firmware-checksum

And they posted Comprehensive Guide to Building and Verifying Keystone3 Firmware:
https://github.com/KeystoneHQ/keystone3-firmware/blob/release/v1.2.4/docs/verify.md

Yeah, $160 is the hell of price for Keystone 3. For Russian people the better and at the same time more affordable opt would be to spend $ 74.90 for AirGap Knox , download free  AirGap Vault&AirGap Wallet and turn their Android +10 smartphone into airgapped  device with the security which at least is not worse than security held out promises by Keystone 3 HW.
I see they are sponsored by Tezos and bunch of other shitcoin companies.
Doesn't look good to me, and android phones can never be safe enough, unless you physically remove antennas and modes.

"E4pizor is a hardware wallet assembled by the e4pool.com crypto team, which is a complete analogue of the original Trezor One wallet, which initially has open source firmware distributed along with layouts of printed circuit boards, cases, etc. by the company itself, the creator of the Trezor wallet - SatoshiLabs under free licenses."
First time I see this, but I saw many other trezor one clones.
You can easily make your own Seedsigner and Krux wallets.
They are one of the best available DIY airgapped devices available right now.

864  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: 49 Hardware Wallets, compared feature by feature on: December 25, 2023, 07:32:55 PM
Hi. Thanks for the feedback. On the filters section you have the ability to filter by wallet name so that you can pick your favorites.
I think you should add Seedkeeper by Satochip as one of the Seed Backup solutions.
This is not made from metal, but it is waterproof and it's better than paper in my opinion.
https://satochip.io/product/seedkeeper/

Can I pitch you another idea?

I know you are doing a great job on your website with hardware wallets, software wallets, seed backups, btc nodes and books,
but how about adding comparison for Debit Card and Gift Cards that support Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies?
There is only one or two websites doing that, mostly with outdated data and I am not impressed with them.
865  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Unstoppable wallet {User experiences} on: December 25, 2023, 07:17:31 PM
What can be the issue and how i can resolve this? The same happens if I try to send OP to some external address.
First you should stop using shitcoins and silly tokens, but if you allredy have them at least do some minimal research how they work before asking questions like this  Tongue
And note that swap option in unstoppable wallet is using third party exchanges and partners.

U eksperimentalne svrhe sam instalirao google authenticator.

869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Judge orders Craig Wright to pay over $1M on: December 23, 2023, 06:51:59 PM
Why is this person trying so hard to prove that he's Satoshi Nakamoto? If he was, he could simply login to this forum and make a post and clear it out.
What an idiot I would say. What's your thought on this?
It's complicated story, but it's mostly because of his ego, and because he is trying to get more money obviously.
He was lucky enough to be early in bitcoin, but this was not enough for him so he decided to recreate himself from farmer to scammer  Tongue

870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin Bar in Sofia, Bulgaria looks Interesting on: December 23, 2023, 06:43:50 PM
Do we have forum users from sofia, Bulgaria here with us on the forum? Check this bar out.
And to the general forum users, isn't this a good business idea?
I think I saw few members saying they are from Bulgaria, don't know what city exactly, but they are not very active in forum these days.
This Bitcoin Bar looks cool and full, but I hope it will remain full even during the next bear run cycle.
I just checked btcmap.org and I saw there are more places that accept Bitcoin payment in Bulgaria, Sofia.
871  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: theymos implementirao 2FA na forumu on: December 23, 2023, 05:41:50 PM
Cheesy
Opet neka edukacija? I kako ne treba backup?!  Roll Eyes
872  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [V2] Big List of Crypto Debit Cards on: December 23, 2023, 05:16:49 PM
But this is not a crypto card.
It is just an online bank, which allows interaction with the Binance account. Where it is possible to transfer money from Binance to your bank account, directly in the bank's app. It may reduce some steps in the process, but it is the same as converting the cryptocurrency on Binance and then transferring it to any bank account using IBAN.
You see they are offering blackcatcard card on their main page right?
I don't know if or how this potential partnership will work, but I think Binance will sure try to bypass EU ban without doing it officially with their branded cards.
I don't really care about this as I never had Binance card, and in most cases I prefer spending cash, only reason for me to use cards is when I am making international orders, and this can be done with virtual cards in most cases.
No cash = no privacy, so I will continue to use fiat cash payments when bitcoin is not accepted or when fees are crazy high.

873  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: theymos implementirao 2FA na forumu on: December 23, 2023, 05:07:11 PM
I, kako radi?
Radi sve ok normalno.

874  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [V2] Big List of Crypto Debit Cards on: December 22, 2023, 10:15:44 PM
Care to share more info about Binance and new card partner, I mean is that just a rumour or a confirmed news? I am asking because I tried googling it but couldn't find anything related to that.
I can't find the link where I saw this news, and this was nothing official.
However, I do remember the name of mentioned card from Malta, Blackcatcard, but I can't confirm if they will work with binance or not.
I don't know how reliable or legit this card is, so dyor and consider it highly risky Wink

875  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hosting companies that don't ask for KYC? on: December 22, 2023, 09:54:37 PM
Don't suggest a random list, recommend one that you have used successfully.
Flokinet is one of the best hosting providers, based in Island, and they have strict no-kyc policy.
Flokinet is crypto friendly so you can pay for anything using Bitcoin and other coins.
Other alternative hosting providers are also available so you can check them on kycnot.me and compare the prices and terms.

876  Other / Meta / Re: Signature Campaigns in the Service Board on: December 22, 2023, 09:33:13 PM
Am I to assume this is alright? I've been paying roughly $200/week per campaign in fees for the last few weeks and would much rather pay less as long as nothing would change as to where I can post campaigns and contests.
Crazy fees these days and I think we are just getting started, so better think about some longer term solution for lower fees, maybe using Lightning, Liquid, or other layer2 solution that can be considered as Bitcoin, not altcoin.
I don't think it's good to use anything that looks like bitcoin on binance chain, tron and other centralized blockchains.

There is L-BTC on Liquid that can be considered as 1:1 with Bitcoin, but they also have L-USDT on same network, and transactions are confidential.

This is the current state of Liquid network on mempool.space, and fees are minimal:

877  Other / Meta / Re: 2FA added on: December 22, 2023, 09:15:02 PM
If you use the forgotten-password function, then there's an option to remove the 2FA. So 2FA does not provide any protection in case of a compromised email. Make sure that your email address is secure. If you don't want to set an email address, use something like yourUserName@invalid.bitcointalk.org; don't use a random nonsense email like y@x.com, since somebody might create that domain/email.
Adding additional 2FA for email address is also a good idea.
I noticed that whenever profile page is refreshed new shared secret and new QR code are generated, and that is good thing, but everyone make sure to backup everything correctly.

Let me know if there are any bugs.
Roger that.
Thanks for finally adding this feature

Thanks for all the congrats & stuff being left in this topic. Bitcointalk has become a lot more important to me than I expected when I joined. I'm grateful that I get to contribute to it in my own way, and I hope to keep doing that for a good while yet. Cheers!
We are waiting patiently for you next forum project Wink

Xal, is it safe to assume that this authentication process cannot be made to synchronize with just one device?.. cus scanning out the code on the app would definitely need two devices..
It's so easy to bypass that by using web cam on the same device (laptop or computer) that has installed software for storing shared secrets.

878  Other / Meta / Re: A concise 2FA/TOTP implementation (SMF patch) on: December 22, 2023, 09:02:39 PM
Amazing work PowerGlove! This is one of the biggest positive changes in forum I have seen in last few years.
Bitcointalk 2FA implementation looks so simple and clean, but I am sure it took you a lot of time to make everything work correctly.
One small thing I would suggest is adding recommendation to members to backup and shared secret key correctly, best with open source app like Aegis or similar.
879  Economy / Services / Re: Friendship service for BTC. Do you need a friend to speak to, confide in? on: December 22, 2023, 08:49:39 PM
I am offering a genuine friendship service. For 0.001 BTC per week
Are you giving some special lifetime discounts? And how much would that be in BTC?
I would like to buy lifetime friend that can always listen and understand me.
First thing I would ask my purchased friend is if he can help me financially.
