i would have stayed with PD if they done bi weely though hate waiting a month for my payments but I might have t come back well, lets see what happens.

why can't you wait 2 extra weeks? is it that big of an issue? to me, i rather get paid monthly vs. bi-weekly if it means the payor (for monthly) is more reliable.

Prepare for an influx of Uptown.BT refugess looking for a new campaign!

It pays to stay loyal people.

For every new and untrusted campaign that end up paying like Ritz, there are two others which end up being scams.

It's definitely worth having a 20% lower salary in exchange for the peace of mind of being sure you will be paid.

Up/Down is down?

"UPD: First payout was made on May 15 (TX ID), next will be made on May 22.

UPD 2: Second payout was made on May 22 (TX ID), next will be made on May 29.

UPD 3: Third payout was made on May 29 (using separate transactions), next will be made on June 5.

UPD 4: Fourth payout was made on June 5 (TX ID), next will be made on July 5. "

^^^
Looks like he did weekly payments to get off to a good start, then the first time he went a whole month the payments are delayed, or worse. Thank you to Stunna, for being honest.  Smiley

yep, same reason why i didn't jump over to ritz. a knowable quantity is better than the opposite.

i remember playing everquest over a decade ago.. compared to today's MMORPGs, it was super fucking hardcore. that's what made it a miserable experience, but also a great one.

o'reilly has the number one news show, with average 409k viewers in 25-54 demographic. so the attack on his viewers is an attack on the majority...do you really think that you are better than most people? hint: you aren't.

he is always balanced, great show

an attack on 409k viewers is the majority... you'd have to be braindead to make that argument. in other words, you'd have to be a bill o'reilly viewer.

besides, it's a false argument.. just because something is the most popular does not make it the best. quantity vs. quality.

the xps 13 is really polished.. i liked it quite a bit. it's probably smaller than the other two ultrabooks, since they shaved some space out of the bezel/screen.

i can only consume mild coffee.. i've had some of those capuchinos and it makes me nauseated as fuck. i can't imagine how nervous those people feel when they're always on it.

does it blow anyone else's mind how data/information work? like it measures up all of its parts, and some how, each part (us) have some role in the grand scheme of things.. it's like we're all connected.

In a truly free laissez faire system nothing is "too big to fail." Tax exemptions come from governments, what market ever gave anyone a tax exemption for anything? Let alone a laissez faire market. Don't sacrifice intellectual integrity to prop up a political agenda.
Laissez Faire capitalism, which in the US was brought in by back starting with Reagan, first allowed banks and corporations to grow and merge without limits.  (Once upon a time, there was a US government that ordered the breakup of AT&T because it was too big.  Would you believe that?)

Hilarious.

The AT&T divestiture was in 1984.  Guess who was sitting in the oval office that year?  (I gave you a hint.)

Also, you may want to read up on the Glass-Steagall Act.  It was neutered by the executive branch in the 1960s, and finally repealed by Clinton.  From your recent posts, it sounds like you learned both economics and history from the same DNC fundraising pamphlet.

yeah both parties are complicit really. just read in noam chomsky's book that bill clinton and he reminds me that bill clinton hasn't necessarily acted in everyone's best interests.

in the end, it doesn't matter who the president is though. you can be bought with big money whether you're a democrat or republican.

Has anyone actually exceeded 400 posts? I'm at 180 at this point, so it seems like 400 is well above what I'll get to. I still think it was a great compromise by stunna, stops people who were spamming like crazy.

i'm getting close. i'm near 300 now.

i can't really complain too much about the new changes either.. i'm still over a month away from hitting 240 though.
912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the critical point above which bitcoin is officially mainstream? on: July 08, 2014, 05:27:39 AM
when wallstreet comes in and the ETF.. you'll have solid options for your portfolio, and a lot of money will start pouring in.
913  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why use bitcoins when my dollars are working just fine for me? on: July 08, 2014, 05:21:27 AM
no chargeback is only good for the seller, not the consumer though. the consumer, at this point, has to go out and get bitcoin to make the transaction.

once the bitpay system becomes smooth and risk-averse enough, i hope newegg/overstock/tigerdirect give us discounts for paying via bitcoin. they are saving a lot of money after all.
914  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 08, 2014, 05:20:13 AM
i miss those days of excitement when you didn't know exactly how high bitcoin would goo.. and everyone was rejoicing.
915  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many people like really *LIKE* caffeine on: July 08, 2014, 05:14:34 AM
coffee and sugar are probably worse than cannabis.. sugar is probably the most deadly drug in the world.
916  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you an optimist or pessimist after the auction? on: July 08, 2014, 04:11:39 AM
Definetly pessimist.
Reasons are mainly so due to "closed" auction, where price is not publicly shown.
I know many of you will say otherwise, but there is no hard evidence for price above market price.
If the price was so high as many say, then why not show reciept (or any other hard evidence).

if you're going long on bitcoin, then a temporary bump by disclosing the price you paid isn't all that important to you. showing your price is only going to end up manipulating the market really.
917  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many people like really *LIKE* caffeine on: July 08, 2014, 04:07:14 AM
I don't like caffeine, I drink energy drink instead.

and what do you think energy drinks have in them? here's a hint: it starts with caf and ends with feine.
918  Other / Politics & Society / Re: An Analysis of HOW America Fell in the Shitter on: July 08, 2014, 04:03:26 AM
i'm reading a little noam chomsky right now, and i agree with most of his points.. and based on his opinion, america was fucked before even nixon and kennedy.

there definitely is a war on poverty though.. domestically and abroad. it's just about the shift of wealth from the middle class to the wealthy elite, or "ruling class."
919  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 08, 2014, 04:02:07 AM
First we waited for the downtrend to end. Then we waited for the rally to start, according to the calendar. Smiley  Then we were waiting for the auction. What are we waiting for now?  Huh

seems the minor good news isn't enough right now.. so i'm just waiting on wallstreet and an ETF.. that's where the real money is coming from. newegg wasn't enough to push us on even a mini bull-run, so i don't think amazon would be THAT significant.. but it'd probably have a bigger impact than newegg.
920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gotta vent - eBay/Paypal suck! AND some people are just scum on: July 08, 2014, 03:53:04 AM
I'm very sorry to hear about your issue. I'm yet to hear about anyone who's happy with their PayPal/eBay experience...

buyers are probably more happy.. they get protected, not the seller. im sure there are many people who are okay with paypal, but there are a lot of people who are unhappy too.
