It'd be very interesting if Rand could tap into the military donation $#s Ron grabbed in '08, if only because there's a better chance the media'd run the story on how big the gap is, especially with national dismay over recent wars and now-unpopular views of competition. wait, are we talking about money donated by the military lobby? why is it a good thing that ron paul received all that money from them? it seems that "military" stands for "military servicemen" and that obama received a lot from them too, so those numbers don't really mean shit.. plus, it's not even a million dollars, where you are having elections that rake in 1.6 billion.

yeah it's owned by the de-facto oligarchs.. but i'd say it's probably better than being owned by some autocratic form of government that gets to control every little detail that gets out there. at least we can bitch about how corrupt and fucked up our government is, unlike china and russia.
a big issue, also, is that our media outlets are not so much concerned about informing the public, but more like raking in cash for the big billionaires standing behind them.

man, some of you guys are nuts putting that much of your income into bitcoin.. it could pay off, or it could totally fuck you over in the months and years to come.
Well, its a choice between a 1% guaranteed loss from inflation (much more if the US housing market doesn't see a reaction from the continued QE and assuming the stock market doesn't crash on the interest hikes from QE tapering) or an inflation hedge...right now I'm taking the hedge. Who in the younger generation is going to want to buy houses? We're up to our heads in student debt. no, it's not a hedge when you have more than half of your wealth in bitcoin. a lot of bitcoiners seem to ignore that it's very possible that bitcoin collapses, yet they still have all of their eggs in a basket.

These newbie and jr nembers payments are too low, I think would be better he post once a day and in the spare time research bitcoin related stuff, so he'll have lots of constructive posts to make when he reaches member status It might be for us, however, if (s)he's a complete Newbie and has either never touched a Bitcoin or owned one, those campaigns are highly beneficial for them. We had high-paying (compared to today's) faucets in 2010-2012, they get signature campaigns in 2014. Those lucky bastards. It's also a good advertising scheme on the owner's hands, however. I believe this payment is better then wasting time on faucets so lightlord done a good job for newbies and Jr Members I have never done a faucet before, TBH, I don't even know how they work. This signature campaign is the only thing that I do to "earn" extra BTC. All the other BTC that I have gotten are from exchanges, or selling items faucets are ridiculous man.. every hour you get a chance to earn less than 1 penny. i did it for 2-3 days or something like that, and ended up with 3 pennies worth of bitcoins.

i'm not very well-versed on the subject, but it seems like israel has kind of bullied palestine into pulling these terrorist tactics. i'm not condoning any of it, but they probably feel they have been pushed far enough that extremism is the only way they can respond.

you probably need to replace your screen.. you can look up a service on craigslist to do it, or do it yourself if you're feeling up to the task.

Really it is kind of simple… The left wing used to be Democrats… Now they are progressives, they are not the same. Democrats helped people, progressives are full of hate.
I'm not a democrat or a progressive. I'm a liberal. What have labels to do with it? I guess i am not aware that liberals have turned against Israel. I have a distinct dislike for the treatment of ordinary Palestanians by Israeli's and an equal distaste for the terrorism against Israel. I do object to the blind American/Israeli supporters who can find no fault with Israel. I would only add that supporting the crimes against humanity that Israel commits on a daily and global regularity is unacceptable to most thinking people everywhere. Of course this would necessitate being aware of what is going on..... many are unaware of reality there, and basing their opinions on misinformation and a lack of accurate information. be careful when you say that though, you could easily be labelled an anti-semite.

^ so i read half of what you posted.. seems like he wants some regulation on climate change. there was no mention of how he'd make monetary gains from it? it wouldn't surprise me if he were rotten, but that first article only spoke about how he's getting his feet dipped into politics. a little digging up shows that he's amassed some of his fortune from the energy industry, so some are calling him a hypocrite. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/06/25/Green-Billionaire-Offers-Excuses-for-Making-Billions-off-the-Fossil-Fuels-That-Made-Him-Richbut wait, that was from breitbart's site better to be a hypocrite and be proactive about climate change in this situation though. his profile isn't THAT bad so far.. on the left, i'd say george soros is still easily worse with his pump and dumps and other schemes to make money off people. Stoyer is lobbying hard against the pipeline. The one coming from Canada. Does that mean he has evil intention? No more than someone invested in big oil. In his case he is betting hard on "green energy". If there is no pipeline and the EPA is regulating the coal industry to death.. then well people will be forced to deal with him and his clean green energy and other carbon taxes, etc, etc. A billionaire does not have a political affiliation, he has bank account affiliations and 1000s of lawyers to make him even more powerful. Listen I love making fun of liberals. I love to think I am a conservative. The reality is we are all at the bottom of a pyramid. Some may climb its left side, others its right side. But at the top there is no more left side or right side. That is why this symbol is on the $ bill. Everyone is a power broker serving one's own selfish interest. Once you understand that you feel much better and don't get attached to anyone politically if they become a turncoat, or be mad on a internet forum... well, if being for green energy makes me a liberal.. then i am a liberal. it's much better than spending trillions of dollars to meddle in the middle east for a fossil fuel that will end up destroying our planet.

you are actually trying to defend rove? rove's game, as it is obviously stated in the article, has been to inject as much money into the political game as possible. your party was behind the citizens united ruling. it's kind of funny how you treat any kind of criticism of the far right as "some conspiracy theory from the left," when all you need to do to hear crazy is tune into fox.

I realized that after a day or two of not having power in my area my car would be bone dry of gas after a day or two...My food supply would be severely in danger of running out along with my water and other basic needs if a real event were to happen.
Do you stock bottled water? People always overlook this, but you will be dead in THREE DAYS without water. You can go three weeks without food. Bullshit, someone has gone 16 days without water, in a 24/7 supervised medical study, by staring into the sun during sunset and sunrise. I'll go a week just to prove your wrong vod. Bullshit. No one has ever gone 16 days without water. You'll lie and claim you did something donkey, but it's just going to be a lie. his logic is probably something along the lines of "i am god. i don't need water, and neither do you." he might be one of those anti vaccinators too there have been some meditators who can go for very long without water, but i doubt dank would last more than a few days.

fyi, worst pricing in southeast asia, that i saw at least, was in laos.. their currency was pretty strong against the dollar, and they did not have a whole lot of infrastructure, which meant it cost me quite a bit to travel through the country. you had to pay $10 for a tuktuk ride across the city, about 10-15 miles or so.
